The Shunga Divine Art Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss is a shiny, clear lip gloss that was especially made to enhance the giving of oral sex. I’d honestly never seen this Shunga product before until I noticed it on this adult toy store. The tube of lip gloss honestly looks like a regular tube of lip gloss, and I could easily see a female getting away with having this in her purse because no one would be any the wiser. It has a neat black top with a regular lip gloss brush with the bottle-half of the lip gloss container being see-through to see the clear gloss liquid.
The lip gloss tube comes in a neat little box that’s typical of all Shunga products. It shows some traditional Kama Sutra-like drawings and makes the lip gloss look absolutely luxurious. The text is all presented in a beautiful script along with the instructions as the ingredients are listed on the side of the box. The lip gloss can be stored in this original box, but it’s really up to personal preference – I think I’m going to keep it next to the bed or in my traveling make-up case.
The instructions on the lip gloss say to apply it to your lips, and for best use, wipe it straight off onto your partner’s genitals. For practicality’s sake, I’m not sure why we just don’t apply it straight onto your partner, but I suppose it wouldn’t be lip gloss then. Regardless of where you decide to apply it (although I recommend applying straight to the genitals because of the ingredients), it still ends up getting on both your lips, your face, and your partner’s genitals.
So how is it? Interesting. It has this extremely odd sensation. It feels cooling and numbing at the same time. The numbing would probably help for giving a blow job, and the cooling sensation rubs off on whatever your lips touch, so it would work great for adding extra stimulation. It doesn’t burn on the genitals or the lips, and I was surprised with the boyfriend told me that the lip gloss actually added an interestingly new type of sensation to the regular blow job. He said it felt most interesting on placed on the head, but that makes sense – it’s the most sensitive part.
It also stands to make your lips look extremely sexy and glossy. Even after you try to kiss the lipgloss away, it will stay on for a bit – especially the cooling and numbing sensation. It lasts about five minutes, so it’s not a big deal that will last all day. The lip gloss appearance itself only stays on as long as the added affects do, so this is not a good choice for all-day make-up.
And the taste? Phenomenal. Why does this oral sex lip gloss taste so damn yummy? I wanted to lick it off on multiple occasions. In fact, the boyfriend and I both put it on our lips just so we could taste it during kissing a couple times. It’s amazingly yummy with the average “Lip gloss” taste – like candy. Because of the great taste, I could easily see this becoming something you put on to please your partner and get a better taste. However, with lots of involvement in the tongue, you can expect to get your tongue the same sensation that your lips are feeling. It’s an interesting tingly feeling – nothing painful at all.
It smells great too. It smells almost exactly as it tastes – which is amazing too. The smell is almost like a candy-type smell too, and it only contributes to the sexiness of the lip gloss itself. It doesn’t smell medicinal at all – it smells like the average child-type chap stick you’d put on in some flavor like “Candy Apple”.
I’d honestly recommend using this as the “foreplay” of your oral sex, but if you choose to use the lip gloss over and over the entire time, I’d say you are looking at a reapplication about every five minutes. I’m not sure how eating that much or having that much on the genitals will end up causing a problem either, but as long as it isn’t constant eating, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too big of deal. We’ve tried it, and I’m not dead yet. No yeast infection either.
The ingredients of this Oral Pleasure Lip Gloss are: Hydrogenated Polyisobutene and Ethylene, Propylene, Styrene Copolymer and Butylene, Ethylene, Styrene Copolymer, Menthly Lactate, Glycerine, Flavor (Aroma), Sucralose, Polyglyceryl Stearate, Vanillin Butyl Ether. None of those look alarming except for the Sucralose. I’m sure that, in small doses like this lipstick provides, the sugar-based substance won’t bother the vagina, but avoid putting large amounts of the lip gloss anywhere near the vagina.
So am I impressed? Yes. The product definitely adds a different type of spice to oral sex, and it does it in a way that makes the wearer feel like it isn’t just a medicine – it feels yummy and makes oral sex even tastier. In fact, it even provides a sneak attack because I can wear this and kiss Jor when he isn’t expecting it, and a couple seconds later, his lips will start to tingle, and it confuses him. It amuses me though. It’s discreet, has great packaging, and adds a new dimension to oral sex.
