Wanachi Rechargable Massager Review

Wanachi Rechargable Massager
The packaging for the Wanachi

The Wanachi Rechargable Massager is a wand-type massager like the Hitachi Magic Wand. The wand itself is 12  inches long with the head of the massager being two and a half inches by two and a half inches. The wand itself is pretty white and it’s colored with blue trim. It honestly is about the same size as the Hitachi Magic Wand, but it’s just a tiny bit smaller. However, instead of being plugged in like the Hitachi is, the Wanachi is actually rechargable. So you just plug it in, charge it, then you can unplug it and take the Wanachi wherever you’d like.

The Wanachi comes in a pretty basic box and is sold by Pipedream Products. It’s a gorgeous purple, classy box that showcases the Wanachi itself. It even pays homage the original Hitachi by including things like “Reduce Tension and Relieve Muscle Fatigue” that allude to the original product even though we all know what most people will purchase this for. The box is actually pretty sturdy, and I plan on keeping my Wanachi in the original box, so this should work well for storage.

As stated, the Wanachi is rechargable. It has an AC adapter that comes with it that keeps the Wanachi from using any batteries. You plug the AC adapter into the wall then the plug-in for the Wanachi is at the bottom of the wand. It can’t be used while it’s charging, but mine came fully charged, and even after “testing” it multiple times over the course of a month, it still has life to it without any extra charging. I put it on the charger to test, but it hadn’t died yet, so it must have a rechargable life of about three hours or so.

So how is it controlled? It’s controlled in a similar manner to the original Hitachi, but it uses a sliding switch instead of a flip switch like the Hitachi. When the switch is at the bottom, it means the Wanachi is off, but above that, you can turn it to “moderate” then sliding it up again will turn it to “high”. The switch is extremely easy to switch, but you won’t find yourself accidentally switching it in the middle of use either.

So does it rival the Hitachi? No, but it’s close. The vibrations are strong and deep – just like the Hitachi. The only difference is that this is cheaper, and you aren’t weighted down by a cord that’s keeping you from taking this sex toy wherever you want. Once it’s charged, you can take this off of the charger and you will have a great wand massager that delivers darn-near close to the same vibration strength of the Hitachi. It actually ends up being quieter than the Hitachi as well which is a plus for me since the Hitachi would be loud enough to actually disrupt my listening of my porn unless I had headphones on.

Another difference is the texture of the head. Instead of the textured head of the Hitachi that has, the Wanachi actually has a very smooth, velvet-like plastic texture. Since the Wanachi doesn’t use attachments, there’s no reason for the texture. (No, the Hitachi attachments won’t quite fit the Wanachi. It’s just a tad bit too tall.) The head of the Wanachi glides smoothly over skin without leaving much of a textured feeling.

The Wanachi doesn’t just have to belong to your crotch. The Wanachi works great the times that I’ve used it for giving back massages to Jor. The deep vibrations really allow for me to deliver deep, strong vibrations that help relax the muscles. The head is amazingly flexible which means that this wand massager isn’t too stiff to use on smaller places of the body.

Cleaning is pretty easy. The Wanachi isn’t waterproof, but the only piece that should come in contact with bodily fluid is the head which just needs to be cleaned with warm soap and water. Any type of lubricant is compatible with the Wanachi since it’s made from plastic, but be careful when washing it because this toy isn’t waterproof.

So what else is there to say? Not much. It rivals the power of of the Hitachi, is lighter, doesn’t require cords, and has a flexible head. However, it doesn’t have any attachments for use with it, but I’m honestly not concerned by that fact. The Wanachi itself provides enough strong vibrations to be a great alternative to the Hitachi Magic Wand. This sex toy store sells the Wanachi, so go pick up the Wanachi Rechargable Massager today.
