Sex in the Shower Dildo and Suction Cup Kit

Front of the packaging

Jordon and I were talking the other night about how it would be amazingly hot to have a dildo set up against the wall and be forced to ride it. A couple days after that conversation, Tabutoys offered to let me review this neat set from Sex in the Shower.

The Sex in the Shower Dildo and Suction Cup Kit is a set of a rubber dildo and a double-sided suction cup for use in the shower. The suction-cup is double-sided and connects in the middle by an extra piece of plastic. The dildo is made from rubber and is six inches long with a diameter of about an inch. The head of the dildo has a slight realistic “ridge”, but it’s very slight, and only noticeable along the top of the dildo. The base is very well-made and holds up the dildo well. Another neat thing about this set is that the dildo can be used with the Sex in the Shower Harness.

The dildo feels very filling for vaginal use. It has a slight curve to the body of it, and although it doesn’t reach the g-spot, it does feel pleasurable during use. The size of the dildo itself is actually pretty filling, but some anal beginners might find this to be a little bit difficult to take because of the diameter. The dildo itself is really smooth and slick. There isn’t any sort of texture on this dildo. The base is about a half-an-inch further on the bottom at each side, and it definitely works as a stable base for the dildo.

You could easily use this dildo in a harness. It has a stable base, but it is a little bit heavy because of the size. It does stay put in a harness, and the base is pretty comfortable, so it doesn’t hurt to have it resting up against your pubic area. The dildo itself is pretty flexible, but it is firm enough to insert. It definitely has give to it, and it’s pleasurable to use – nothing like plastic or a firm material. It honestly is about the same girth and length of a regular penis.

Dildo with suction cup attached

We personally found that this dildo will mostly be used as an anal toy for the two of us. It has a great flared base that allows for personal masturbation use, harness use, or just plain use with a partner. It is the perfect anal toy, but it may be too big for some beginners. For most average anal-toy lovers, this should be just perfect though.

The suction cup holds it up to many different surfaces. I was actually surprised when I got it – I wasn’t expecting it to work as nicely as it did. You put the dildo onto one side of the suction cup, apply pressure so it will stay on, and place it on the surface you’d like it to stay. It doesn’t appear to hold up to painted surfaces very well like most walls, and it doesn’t stay on surfaces that have textured bumps either, but it stays on dining room chairs, pieces of flat furniture like a desk, or in areas with tiled surfaces like our bathroom shower. Even during use, it seems to stick on really nicely. If you’re having problems with it staying, getting it slightly damp with just a couple drops of water makes it stick really nicely.

I’ve found that rubber dildos seem to stick best to this suction cup. Silicone sticks, but it doesn’t seem to keep as nice of a hold on the suction cup as well as the rubber ones do. Jelly sticks too, but it’s a little too flexible and ends up just hanging limp.

Dildo in my hand for size reference

The dildo doesn’t come out of the suction cup with regular use or thrusting of the dildo. It stays very fixed to the suction cup as long as it’s being used around a ninty degree angle. In order to get the dildo to come off the suction cup, you have to go towards one of the corners of the dildo. Once you peel off the corner of the dildo, it breaks the seal and allows you to get the dildo off the suction.

This works great on a shower wall even with water going on all over it – as long as the suction cup has been firmly suctioned up against the wall. It works well for masturbation in the shower or for your partner to watch you while in the shower. Another great use? Grab a kitchen chair, suction cup it onto the chair, and you have your own dildo that will stay put while you masturbate. It leaves you hands-free to use your hands for other things.

For cleaning, the suction cup doesn’t really require anything. Just wash it off with warm water. The suction-cup dildo is made of rubber, which is porous, so don’t share this toy without covering it. To clean it from your own use, just use water and some antibacterial soap. When it’s not in use, I recommend storing this dildo away from everything else in a plastic baggie. It seems to pick up lint and other fuzzies really easily.

Overall, I’m pretty excited about this kit. The suction-cup will work with a variety of different dildos, and the dildo is a high-quality rubber dildo that I can use in the shower or out of the shower for lots of different play – anal or vaginal. This is a great kit to own, and it can turn your dildos into hands-free fun. This suction-cup dildo can be bought from this sex toy store, so purchase the Sex in the Shower Dildo and Suction Cup Kit today. While browsing their site, you can always check out the rest of their selection of dildos.
