I’ve been lusting after this for awhile. I always want to play with ice cubes, but I have the feeling of attempting to grip onto something that’s slowly melting and keeps slipping out of my hands. Plus, adding vibrations to ice cubes would be an interesting sensation.
The Touche Vibrating Ice Massager is a neat little sex toy. It is made up of two different parts – a silicone holder and a silicone tray. It’s about four inches tall and a little bit wider than it is tall. It obviously was meant only for external use – it’s too tiny to be safe for internal use. The silicone holder is ribbed with lines to make it easier to hold while the tray is very soft and slick to help develop the ice better.
The packaging is a little basic and pretty over the top. It doesn’t need nearly as much cardboard nor plastic as its packaged in. The packaging is attractive though. It includes little water splashes all over the box and a window to see the product itself sitting in the box. The packaging includes some instructions on the inside to make it less confusing the first time you use it.
It’s easy to operate as well – extremely easy. All you have to do is pour some water into the bottom, white piece almost to the top. From there, you slide in the silver silicone piece (that shouldn’t have the bullet in it) into the white piece so you’ve squeezed all the air out. (If you splash some over the side, then you’ve done extra-well.) You then just throw your fun little unique sex toy into the freezer for about four hours. After your hours after elasped, you just take the vibrating ice cube out of the fridge and slowly pull the white, bottom portion off of your ice. As long as you are careful, it will all stay in one piece without any problem. You then slide the bullet back into the top of the silicone portion.
From there, it’s actually pretty fun to play with. The ice stays in one chunk quite nicely, but because it’s coming to be summer, I recommend taking it straight from the fridge to your play. Once on skin, I’d say you have about ten minutes of continual use before the ice will be completely melted.
When I think of ice cubes, I think of those ice cubes that used to come from my family’s ice maker. Those ice cubes were always painfully cold. They had some sharp edges, and they’d been frozen long enough that touching it to a tongue or skin was actually painful. The Touched Vibrating Ice Massager isn’t like that at all. The ice is smooth around the entire thing, and the silicone (and the small amount of time it’s frozen) keeps it from getting ultra-cold. It’s cold, like ice, but it isn’t painfully so. In fact, on most summer days, I would consider the temperature of the ice to be downright amazing.
Using the Touche Ice Vibrating Massage toy can be interesting – even without the vibrations. The ice slides along the skin really nicely and leaves water trails where it has been. The vibrations don’t add too much to the sensation itself – because it will be such a cold sensation, your body will mostly focus on the cold and not the vibrations. However, if you wanted to use this as a proper sex toy, you could easily use the vibrations to your advantage on nipples or the genitalia, and it would be a lot of help there.
The neatest thing about this is the fact that couples have been playing with ice cubes for decades now. Even I’ve played with ice cubes in the past. However, it always got to be a little annoying, and the person who was holding the ice cube would always end up dropping the ice cube because it would warm up, melt, and get slick. What Touche has done is revolutionary for ice cube play – the silicone stays pretty comfortably warm and easy to hold, but yet you still have an ice cube that is perfect for play. In fact, at the bottom of the top silicone portion of the ice massager is little holes that will help attract the ice and keep it attached to the silicone portion for as long as possible.
The vibrations themselves are nothing to write home about. It’s just a single-speed bullet like you’d find in most sex toys. It has moderate strength vibrations, and I can’t say that this is very discreet either. It could be heard in the same room, but it probably couldn’t be heard outside of the room you are in. On the extra-plus side, you can pull the bullet out of the Touche and choose to use it as a regular vibrator as well.
Because of the very precise size of the bullet vibrator chamber, I’d say it’d be difficult to swap out the bullet vibrator for another option.
With the summer season coming up, I think the best use is during the warmer months. It’s also an easy, risk-free way to spice up your sex life. While riding crops, bdsm gags, and restraints can seem a little scary, a fun toy just for some ice cubes is absolutely perfect. What makes it more fun? Touche will be releasing some flavored liquids to use instead of water to make your ice cube flavored. Then you get yummy AND sexy ice.
It’s more easily used on the skin of your partner. When used on the genitals, it will probably cause more giggling and squirming than sexual pleasure – but it’s always a neat way to spice up your life. This is used best on the skin on some of the sensitive spots – such as the back of the elbows, the spine on the back, and the back of the thighs.
Another neat thing is that you can freeze anything you’d like. While this is meant for water, you could choose to use juice, soda, or anything else that tickles your fancy. However, be aware that something other than water will make for a sticky feeling on the skin and a need for more clean-up of the toy than just water alone.
So what if you made an oopsy and put your bullet in the freezer with the toy? I wouldn’t recommend you do it out of pure laziness, but if it was an accident, it won’t kill it. If it does? The bullet is just a standard-size bullet, and you can easily replace it with another peanut bullet if need be. While on the topic of the bullet, the bullet does take 3 watch-size batteries that are included with the Ice Bullet Vibrating Ice Cube.
Clean-up is easy for this Touche toy. It’s made from silicone, so it’s non-porous, so with boiling, you should have no problem using this with multiple partners as long as you disinfect it. However, for general use, warm water and antibacterial soap will work just fine since this won’t come in contact with many bodily fluids.
Overall, this Ice Bullet Vibrating Ice Cube is an amazing product. It works great for sensual sex play, and it will make a fun, sexy night for you and your partner. While I don’t recommend it for genital use for lengthy periods since it will numb you up, this works perfectly for small periods of genital use or lots of full-body use on hot summer days.
