Love Kandy Prevail Vibrator Review

Love Kandy Prevail Vibrator

UPDATE: APRIL 2020: The Love Kandy line has been continued (including this vibrator). This review remains as a reference for those who want information.

The Prevail vibrator is part of the Love Kandy line – a sex toy line produced by Evolved in collaboration with Kendra Wilkinson (a previous Playboy girl). This plastic vibrator is available in a black version and a white version, and a portion of each purchase is going towards the “Save the Ta-Tas” foundation. Requiring two AAA batteries and about seven inches long, this vibrator is long and slender and features two buttons on either side of the control for either-hand control of the vibe.

The packaging is one of the more impressive things about The Prevail vibrator. The vibrator comes in a plastic box that is see-through and allows you to easily see the vibrator. Along with that, it comes with a small storage bag that holds the vibrator AND a storage tube.that is more firm than the bag and holds the vibrator nicely. This gives you a lot of storage options, and it makes the vibrator seem a lot nicer than it might have otherwise seemed. It’s just an impressive amount of storage options.

Different storage methods that this vibrator comes with

The design for this Prevail vibrator is honestly pretty basic. It is long and slender, and it features the two control buttons on the base of the toy. This vibrator is made from plastic, and it’s extremely rigid and unbending. The plastic on this vibrator is nice and slick, though, and it’s that nice type of plastic that your fingers will just glide over. The plastic doesn’t feel rough, and it’s a nice, thin material that allows the vibrations to transfer pretty easily through the material.

The Love Kandy Prevail takes two AAA batteries. The base of the toy easily unscrews, and the batteries slip in with absolutely no problem. They slip out just as easily. With my recent frustration with toys and batteries, I’m glad to see that the Prevail is very simple about it. The batteries don’t tend to rattle much during use, and it’s very simple to get the battery compartment off too.

The vibrations on the Love Kandy Prevail are controlled in a unique fashion. To be able to work for both left-handed and right-handed people, the Prevail features a button on both sides of the toy – completely opposite of each other. This is designed to make it easier for someone of either hand-priority be able to use this sex toy with ease. This is awesome and weird at the same time. For one, if you really do normally have problems reaching sex toy buttons (I never have!) with your hand, this makes everything easier. On the downside, though, it also means that there’s twice as much chance that you’ll accidentally change the vibration setting when you don’t want to. So that’s a downside too.

As for the vibrations themselves, they are moderate at best. The vibration has very soft vibrations, and I’d say that these vibrations are probably not enough for orgasm for most women. If you’re very sensitive, you’ll be okay, but for most, these vibrations are just not going to be enough. It needs a stronger motor or power source to really bump up the vibrations. The vibrations are pretty buzzy, too, so that’s something to keep in mind. As for the sound, it is very quiet. It’s impossible to hear outside of a closed door, and with any type of noise in the room, it’s impossible to hear in the same room too. That’s nice for those that need some sort of discretion.

If you’re very sensitive to seams, that might be a problem with the Prevail. While I’m not sure most people will really think/want to insert it anyway, you do have to keep in mind that all of the meeting points between the black/pink on the shaft does include a semi-feel-able seam. The seam really isn’t painful, but it can be felt with your fingers and is semi-noticable during use, so again, if you’re sensitive to seams, this might be a problem for you.

The Prevail seems like it was designed as a clitoral vibrator. However, the vibrations don’t really lend it to this purpose too well; it just needs stronger vibrations. It could be an insertable toy, but the slim size and completely straight design don’t really lend itself well to that either. So, for me, I won’t get much use out of the Prevail; I love the design, but it just needs more power to work for me.

Since this breast cancer vibrator is waterproof, it’s simple to clean. You just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Since it’s plastic, it doesn’t pick up any hair or fuzzies, so it’s pretty simple to keep it clean too. It’s compatible with all types of lubricants, and since it’s plastic, you really don’t have to take any precautions for storage. You can store it by itself, in the included bag, in the included tube, or even just in the original packaging.

Overall, the Prevail is a basic, no-frills vibrator that will appeal to those who like pink. It, however, is going to be best for those who prefer softer vibrations and aren’t afraid of accidentally changing vibration settings mid-use. I wouldn’t call it the most advanced or impressive toy out there, but it’s dependable and affordable for someone who wants the design or benefits of this one.
