Showing the beautiful curvature of the Mr. Pink

UPDATE: APRIL 2020: Mr. Pink dildo is no longer in-production. I don’t think most of FunFactory’s “ArtTOY” line is in production anymore. This Mr. Pink dildo review remains as a reference for those who need it.

Mr. Pink is a body-safe, silicone dildo made by FunFactory. Designed in a cute, wavy design, Mr. Pink is about eight inches long with a diameter of slightly less than an inch and a half. Designed by an artist (more below), the Mr. Pink dildo is a flexible and slim dildo for those that enjoy non-vibrating, silicone toys.

Something I wasn’t aware of until flipping through the (pretty baren) manual is the fact that Mr. Pink was designed by an artist whose favorite color is pink. Named Karim Rashid and born in Egypt, Rashid was commissioned to design this dildo, and the Mr. Pink was more designed as an “ArtToy” than a dildo (much like the previous JimO). It just looks like Mr. Pink was designed to be more usable than JimO was. There’s a small interview with the artist inside the manual, but the basic gist is that Rashid believes that, as an essential part of life, sex should be artistic and creative as well, so he designed Mr. Pink. (Also, Rashid currently lives in NYC)

The packaging for the Mr. Pink is pretty simplistic – but very cute. It comes with an outer, white slipcover that shows off the toy and its features. Inside this slipcover, there’s a gold-ish box that can be easily opened to show off the Mr. Pink. As this box is quite larger than the dildo itself, I don’t really recommend keeping it around for storage. I’m a bit disappointed about the lack of a storage bag. As many FunFactory toys do include a storage bag, this is a bit sad that this one doesn’t while the packaging is a bit too large for logical storage. Along with the dildo, the packaging also comes with a user manual which – as you can guess – is pretty much useless for a dildo since it’s kinda “take out and use” more than a vibrating object. However, it does have some neat info about the design itself.

Mr. Pink has a pretty basic design. It’s just a basic silicone dildo with cute colors. The Mr. Pink has multiple pink lines running down the length of it, but aside from that, the rest of the dildo is clear-colored. The pink is designed into the silicone itself, so you don’t have to worry about it flaking off or anything like that. Mr. Pink has multiple waves throughout the shaft of the toy, and the two “ends” tend to be very flexible where the wave point is the smallest. It really only bends in those two places, though, but that flexibility can make a difference. However, keep in mind that the Mr. Pink is not made from a plushy silicone. It does bend at those two points, but it really doesn’t have much of a “plushy” feeling to the toy, either.

Another view of the curves

The biggest thing you’ll have to remember about Mr. Pink is that the dildo’s size is not that large. So if you really love larger dildos or aren’t satisfied with smaller ones, Mr. Pink is probably not going to be the best toy for you. However, if you’re like me and tend to prefer smaller toys, the Mr. Pink is going to work well. The neat thing about Mr. Pink compared to other dildos is the waved design. This design means that there’s really a definite and feel-able design during thrusting versus most of the small-diameter dildos that just tend to be straight-line and not include any extra sensation to them. This really does make a difference during use, and it makes things feel much more intense.

Another thing with Mr. Pink is the fact that it’s a pretty flexible silicone. This silicone would actually lend itself well to sharing a double-ended dildo with a partner, but with Mr. Pink’s smaller size, this probably would end up more frustrating than pleasurable. However, the other issue with the flexibility is using it for any sort of reliable and firm pressure like g-spotting. The tips of the dildos bend pretty easily under pressure, and with that in mind, trying to apply pressure with this dildo is more annoying than pleasurable. It just tends to bend under pressure.

Keep in mind that you should definitely use some sort of external lubricant when using the Mr. Pink, though. While not as “draggy” as some of the FunFactory silicone toys, Mr. Pink does have some drag to it, and as such, using external lubrication makes it much more pleasurable to use. Be careful about not overdoing it, though, as the Mr. Pink can get slick with lubricant, and that can make it more difficult to keep a grasp on – especially as the silicone at the bottom can be pretty flexible.

The packaging for the Mr. Pink

The Mr. Pink does make quick thrusting slightly annoying. This is because, on either side, the dildo tends to be flexible near the tip. This leads to the dildo “folding” inside of actually sliding back in for quick thrusting. More languid, slower thrusting works okay, but if you’re someone that wants to go very quickly, it might get annoying unless you grasp onto half of the dildo versus just gripping the tip.

So how is it for use? The Mr. Pink dildo isn’t perfect, but it’s much more unique and sensation-filled than regular straightline slim dildos. My biggest issue is that the flexibility of the tips of the toy really do make it slightly annoying to use. It makes the tips difficult to grab onto for tough thrusting, and the Mr. Pink will tend to “collapse” on itself instead of sliding in. Because of the tips, it also makes g-spotting or hitting a certain spot more difficult as well, but as long as things are taken slowly with more languid thrusting without g-spotting in mind, the Mr. Pink provides good sensations that feel much better than a straight dildo.

To clean this silicone dildo, you’ll just want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. If you want to, you can easily slide this dildo into boiling water to sterilize it for multiple-person use. As it’s made from 100% non-porous silicone, it can be sterilized. Its shape is easily small enough to slide into a condom if you want to protect it that way as well, but I do recommend storing it away from hair or lint as the dildo’s surface does tend to pick up any fuzzies.

Overall, the Mr. Pink dildo is going to be best for anyone that enjoys smaller-diameter toys yet wants something different than the traditional straight-line dildo. The waves really make a different sensation with this dildo, which really helps, but don’t expect it to really work for g-spotting just because the tips of the dildo tend to be too flexible to allow it.
