Jopen Vanity Vr3 Vibrator Review

Jopen Vanity Vr3 Vibrator

UPDATE APRIL 2020: The Jopen Vanity Vr3 is no longer in production. However, Jopen still produces the Vanity line – and it still includes rabbit vibrators of different (but similar) designs.

The Jopen Vanity Vr3 is a luxury vibrator created by Jopen. Made of body-safe silicone and featuring two different motors, the Jopen Vanity Vr3 is a waterproof and rechargeable vibrator. With a virtually seamless body and instant on/off functions through the independently-controlled clitoral arm and shaft, this little vibrator is only available in the cute (and vibrant) purple color.

The packaging for the Jopen Vanity Vr3 is very simple – but it works. It’s not the quality of packaging I expect for most luxury vibrators, but it does keep the toy safe, and it is very presentable packaging. The packaging is all made from cardboard, and inside the packaging, there’s a pre-cut cardboard tray where the vibrator sits. This keeps it safe during shipping. Underneath this tray, there is the charger for the vibrator, the instructions, and the storage pouch for the luxury vibrator.

The design of the Jopen Vanity Vr3 is pretty basic. It has both a clitoral arm and the shaft. On the backside of the shaft, there’s a small hole where the charger plugs in to charge the vibrator. On the front, there are two small buttons that are pretty flush with the material, and they allow you to control the vibrator – one for each motor. The entire silicone of this luxury vibrator is very soft and smooth, and it really doesn’t have much drag to it. It probably will still require external lubricant for most people, but the material isn’t too grippy which is a plus for me.

Showing how flexible the clitoral arm is

Like previously stated, the Jopen Vanity Vr3 is rechargeable. It charges via the small port in the back of the vibrator. It’s very simple to plug in the charger, and it comes out pretty easily too. It plugs via a wall outlet. It will complete its charge in three hours, and after multiple uses, I still haven’t needed to recharge it yet, so it will last for quite a bit.

The Jopen Vanity Vr3 vibrator is very simple to control as well. Like previously stated, there are those two buttons on the base of the vibrator. Each button controls one thing – either the clitoral arm or the shaft motor. There are two separate and separately-controlled motors in this sex toy. To change the vibration speed, you just press and hold the button. As you hold the button, the vibrations will get more intense. When you stop holding it, it will stay at that intensity. To make it stronger, press and hold down the button again. To turn the vibrations off, you just have to hit the button once (don’t hold!), and the vibrator will turn off. It’s a very simple and easy-to-control system, and I’m actually very fond of the control system that Jopen Vanity sex toys use.

The buttons at the base of the shaft

The vibrations for this luxury vibrator are okay. It’s actually amazing how different the two vibrational motors are. In the shaft, the vibrations are relatively rumbly, and they are on the higher end of moderately strong. In the clitoral portion, the vibrations are much more buzzy and feel much more “surface vibration” and are only moderate-to-weak on the strength scale. If the clitoral vibrations matched the intensity of the shaft vibrations, I’d be in heaven, but sadly, they are very different sensations and feelings. Along with that, the vibrator is pretty quiet, and while it might be heard in the same room, it’d be hard to hear, when inserted, outside of a closed door.

When it comes to use, I really like the shaft of the toy. I like how its shaped, and I like how it works fantastically clitorally when I want to use it without inserting it. The vibrations are pretty strong, and while they haven’t been orgasm-strong for me, I think they’d be strong enough for most. When inserted, while slightly flexible, the shaft of the vibrator ends up holding pretty rigid and pretty firm most of the time, and I like that.

The packaging for this vibrator

However, the problem with this vibrator is how the clitoral vibrations are. I’m actually pretty fond of the clitoral design itself. The clitoral part doesn’t provide QUITE as much pressure as I’d like it to, but compared to other vibrators, it does actually reach right, and it does provide some pressure; just not enough with certain angles. The issue is mostly with the type of vibrations, though. The vibrations are definitely more on the buzzy side, and they are the type of vibration that tends to get weaker when pressure is applied. The vibration feels way too surface vibration for me, and it’s almost a “itchy” sensation. It really doesn’t work for me at all. If the clitoral vibrations were different, though, and if the clitoral piece provided more pressure, I think I would really like this rabbit sex toy.

To clean this purple sex toy, as it’s waterproof, it doesn’t take much effort. You can use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it easily. It can’t be boiled, though, and it might be difficult to sterilize, so I do recommend keeping it as a fluid-bonded sex toy. It’s compatible with only water-based lubricant, and as the vibrator does tend to pick up some stray lint and fuzzies, I recommend keeping it in the original packaging or – even better – the included storage bag.

Overall, if you tend to like lighter vibrations on your clitoris or don’t require too much pressure from your clitoral portion, the Jopen Vanity Vr3 could be the perfect vibrator for you. I really liked the shaft portion, but the clitoral portion of this vibrator just didn’t work for me. Thanks to Jopen for sending out this luxury vibrator for my Jopen Vanity Vr3 review.
