The Jack Boot Paddle is a large rubber and wood paddle sold by this adult store. As you can see from the pictures, this large spanking paddle is shaped like a boot – and it has the rubber tred to match! The paddle is about a foot and a half long (so be prepared!), and it has a width of about five inches across, so it’s definitely large in size. There’s no particular packaging for this Jack Boot Paddle, so if you want to give it as a gift, you may want to pick up your own packaging.
The design of the Jack Boot Paddle is certainly intense. The outer structure of the paddle is completely made of wood. This includes the entire, flat back of the paddle. On the front side, though, you can easily see that there’s a boot design. The boot portion of the paddle is actually made from rubber, and it appears to be an actual likeness to a shoe tred. It has the grooves and the rubber-like smell to go along with it. So it’s not just a design – it really is like being hit with the bottom of a shoe. Along with that, there’s a leather handle at the base of the paddle, and there’s the hanging strap that you can see as well. This allows you to hang it up easily.
When it comes to handling, that’s where I don’t quite like the paddle as much. For the huge length that the paddle has, it has a very short and stout handle going on. As this small handle has to support the entire weight of the paddle, I definitely wish the handle was longer as this short length doesn’t work too well for the paddle. It makes it difficult to hold and a bit unbalanced. It’s something you get used to after awhile, but you do have to make some attempts to use the paddle before using it with a partner because the paddle does feel unbalanced and extremely “one-sided”. You’ll have to use extra muscle to keep it balanced out and that may fatigue you more quickly as well; it’s all a personal thing, but I personally wish the paddle handle would have been made longer.
Since the paddle is made of wood, this entire paddle is very rigid. This makes for a very intense sensation since the paddle has absolutely no give to it. No matter which side you strike with, do be prepared to be making an intense statement. The paddle is definitely stingy on both sides, and there isn’t much thud to it at all. In fact, if you hit hard enough with either side, you can easily leave marks, and with the boot tred side, yes, you can easily leave the mark of the boot tred on your partner’s behind. Due to the intensity and rigidity of the paddle, I HIGHLY recommend that you only use this paddle on the butt and be careful about where you strike. This one is definitely intense, and it’s really an “advanced only” paddle. If you play very lightly, it won’t hurt, but most people are going to underjudge how much it hurts and hit their partner too heavily. It may not feel like you’re putting much effort into the swing, but this one DEFINITELY hurts!
Since this boot paddle has two different sides with two different materials, it’s possible to experience two different sensations with this same paddle. One side has the rubber boot tred while the opposite side has the polished wood. Both sides definitely are intense, but they are intense in different ways. The rubber tred side is intense because it has all of the different textures on it while the wood side is intense because it’s completely smooth and rigid. Either way, they are definitely two very different sensations, but both are very powerful, so be careful about how hard you play with either side.
To clean this paddle, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. Be careful about making sure to get between all of the cracks because of the shoe tred on the paddle. In fact, because of the tred, it probably is just best if you consider this fluid-bonded as attempting to sterilize it may not work out as well as it could. For storage, as this is already made of wood, you don’t have to be as careful about where you store it. I recommend storing it flat, though, or you could use the included hanging strap to hang it upright as well. Also make sure to try to avoid getting it near bodily fluids as it may be harder to clean off than most paddles.
Overall, the Jack Boot Paddle is high-quality and well-made, but it’s definitely something only experienced spankers should look into. The handling is a bit of a pain, but once you get used to it, it isn’t so bad, and the paddle more than makes up for it with the intensity that it provides. If you’re in the market for something that CAN leave marks (including shoe prints), this shoe paddle might work well for you.
