The White Delrin Ever Ready cane is a small, traveling-size cane from Cane IAC. It’s made from Delrin which is a nice material that makes the cane slightly flexible and extremely durable. This cane is eighteen inches in total length with a handle of about six inches. The cane is also 3/8 inches thick.
The cane doesn’t come with any particular packaging. There is a small little Cane IAC tag that hangs off the hanging strap, but aside from that, it has no particular packaging. It honestly doesn’t need any.
I absolutely love the handle on all of the Cane-IAC canes and paddles. For the price, these canes are just downright amazing. The handles come with a nice, slip-resistant grip that make them extremely easy to hold onto. The grip does not slide off, and you don’t have to worry about having wet/messy hands when you grip it, since this helps a lot. Each one of their canes (this one included) also have a little string loop at the end that makes them perfect for hanging up for storage.
The neat thing about this particular cane is that it’s very short. This makes it absolutely perfect for traveling. It’ll fit easily into a suitcase or into a bag to go to play parties. Plus, if you have a tiny submissive-butt to be aiming at, some of the longer canes end up being overkill for caning my boyfriend, so having something smaller like this makes it easier to aim and easier to keep next to the bed. I can easily hide this on a shelf behind some books with no problem at all.
This cane has a slight bit of flexibility. You can easily bend it into a half-moon shape, but it doesn’t go too far into the U-shape. It would probably go farther, but I’m afraid of breaking it. It’s an amazingly resilient material though. When shaking the cane back and forth (and striking) the cane portion doesn’t wiggle at all, so it’s firm while still being extremely flexible. It’s an amazing property of the cane actually.
So how does it feel? Well, nothing that the boyfriend is willing to come across if he can help it. It’s one of those things that you love to hate. It definitely packs quite a bit of sting to it. Cane-IAC makes canes that hurt more than this one, but this one definitely has the sting. It doesn’t hurt too much at first swing, but after a couple seconds, the pain gets worse. I’d definitely only recommend this cane for those who are planning on being really gentle or those who definitely want to feel the sting. For those with larger butts, it may only cover one side of the butt comfortably.
This one doesn’t hurt as badly as some of the other Cane-IAC canes we’ve tried recently, but it still stings. On the pain scale, I’d say that this one is probably a high intermediate. You can do a lot of bruising/pain if you use a strong flick of the wrist, but if you are moderate in strength, it isn’t too bad for the the receiver. The cane is extremely light-weight and easy to handle, and I had no problem hitting it on the exact area I wanted it to hit.
Since it’s Delrin, the cane actually cleans up really nicely too. This is a white cane, so be careful around blood, but if you clean up right away, it shouldn’t be a problem. It can be washed down with warm water and antibacterial soap with no problem. I store mine hanging over a nail on the back of a door.
I really liked this cane. In fact, I’ve really liked all of Cane IAC’s canes. They all are amazingly high-quality for the price. Each one has its own special feel to it, but each one is also the same quality I’ve expected from the last one. They do a great job with their canes.
