Vida Lussuria Review
The vibe in its case

UPDATE JUNE 2023: The Vida Lussuria appears to be discontinued. This review remains for people who are interested in looking up information about this vibrator. While you’re here, why don’t you check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, BDSM scene outlines, and 24/7 chastity training plan?

The Vida Lussuria is a luxury vibrator in the Vida Internationale line. The Lussuria is about seven inches long and has a flat-diameter of about an inch and a half at the widest point. (The other axis of the toy only has a diameter of less than an inch at the same point. It’s flat there.) The Lussuria is curved for g-spot pleasure and intended to be inserted. The top side of the end of the toy has small ridges on it while the bottom side has a curved out scoop which I assume can be used for clitoral pleasure. This sex toy is longer than both of its sisters – the Vanta and the Zara. The toy is relatively heavy – heavier than most toys of the same size because its made from aluminum and silicone.

What I love most about the Lussuria is the fact that it comes in some gorgeous packaging. It comes with a small travel-sized train case (like what you’d put make-up in) with the Lussuria resting in some foam on the inside. The chargers are underneath the foam. It also comes with a small, soft bag that the Lussuria can slip into if the train case is too large for you. There’s a small booklet explaining what other toys there are as well as care for this one as well. This toy is waterproof, so you don’t have to be careful while cleaning. It just takes warm water and antibacterial soap, and the manufacturer recommends using water-based lubricant with this sex toy. While this packaging isn’t “recyclable“, it has the benefit of being designed for long-term storage of the toy.

The full body of the Lussuria

Along with being waterproof, the Lussuria is also rechargeable. It takes about a full hour to charge this sex toy, but then it worked for about two hours for me. Charging is extremely easy, and there’s a covered port at the end of the Lussuria. The fact that it’s rechargeable doesn’t seem to affect the vibrations. The vibrations are pretty strong – albeit pretty buzzy. The toy did work exactly as it promises though, and with the pink LED backlight when the vibrations are on, you’ll know it’s working.

So how well did it do? My favorite use for it was for clitoral use. The scoop of the toy meant that it never directly applied vibrations which was great while the vibrations themselves were strong enough for easy use. The vibrator was long enough to make it comfortable to use without straining my arms. It did work okay for g-spot use. I’ve never been one to get too much use from slightly-curved g-spot toys, but this one seemed to gently rub on my g-spot okay. It was pretty gentle though – I had a hard time applying pressure because of the angle of the toy. Others who don’t have such deep g-spots shouldn’t have a problem though.

The Lussuria is a gorgeous, luxury toy though. I enjoy it because it’s environmentally safe and body-safe as well as being powerful and pleasurable. It’s rechargeable, so I don’t have to worry about batteries. It’s long enough to be comfortable for external or insertion, so it’s really flexible as well.
