It does have a strong suction cup base – that also functions as a harness-compatible flared base as well.
Getting the toy safely to you, the Temptasia Elvira comes in a black cardboard box. This box has a small window in the front that displays the short and thick silicone dildo to you. It has a bit of information on the outside – but not much. Inside, the dildo comes in a plastic tray that’s perfectly molded for the size of the dildo. As the cardboard tends to be pretty thin, I wouldn’t really recommend this for storage. With a dildo this small, there are lots of other options (like a sandwich baggie).
Pretty simple and to the point, this dildo knows exactly what its fun and doesn’t mess around with extra frills. it’s a short, thick dildo with no texture or decorative aspects. It’s made of a nice, silky smooth silicone that feels perfectly luxurious on the fingers. If you’ve ever played with a LELO sex toy, it feels like that type of silicone. It’s pretty rigid, and it’s not particularly plushy either. Squeezing the toy doesn’t “squeeze” it much; it tends to hold its shape pretty well – so when you penetrate with it, it definitely feels like all 2 inches of girth.

This isn’t a dildo I’d recommend to everyone. This is definitely a “niche” type of dildo. Why? Because it’s short and thick. Which, as judging by popular toys like the Vixen Creations Randy, still has a place in many sex toy user’s hearts. At the same time, it also may not be the best choice for every sex toy player out there. For us, my partner enjoys really thick toys. He’s recently started enjoying pegging with a new partner, and he was finding that most of our toys – which happened to be thick and long – were becoming painful in her harness. She just wasn’t experienced enough at pegging (which is fine!) to know what positions would cause pain when poked internally with a giant-ass dick. So, this was our solution to that. A smaller-length dildo that’ll be less-likely to cause discomfort with a thick diameter that’ll definitely cause pleasure. Win-win.
However, not everyone’s needs are the same, and that’s something to keep in mind with the Temptasia Elvira. With an insertable length of 5.5″ and a thickness of 2″, it’s a bit more “lopsided” than your standard dildo measurements. And with what we wanted, that was absolutely perfect!
On the topic of strap-on sex, this dildo works just fine in a strap-on harness as well. It has a small flared base around the bottom that allows it to slip into a strap-on harness without any problem. Due to the concave design of the suction cup base at the bottom, it doesn’t tend to be the easiest dildo to make clitoral contact with during a pegging. She says she prefers other dildos for that sensation. But it definitely works in the harness just fine with no qualms. It works just fine in any of the Spareparts harnesses with their built-in O-rings! It’s also worth noting that, because of the way the dildo is attached to the base, the dildo has a bit of an “upward slant” to it – like an erection when it’s strapped on. It doesn’t have much of a droop when strapped on, so it pretty much just looks like a stout, proud erection when you’re wearing it. She looks pretty cute with it.
In addition to being harness-compatible, the base is also a suction cup base – and a surprisingly good one at that. Since the dildo isn’t particularly heavy or large, it tends to stay up wherever you put it. It’s really, really effective when using it on the floor – since you don’t have to fight gravity. It actually does pretty darn good on vertical surfaces like walls too. It’s not great on my textured house walls, but it works pretty perfectly on the side of the bathtub, and it doesn’t move around during use at all.
As I’m sure you can tell from the photos, the Temptasia Elvira doesn’t have much outside of the short stature and thick diameter. It isn’t textured. It isn’t really curved. It’s just that: short, stout, and easy to insert. And that’s exactly where it excels. If you’re just after the feeling of being “filled” with a dildo that can stretch you out, that’s exactly where the Temptasia Elvira fits it. You should be aware that it doesn’t have much of a tapered tip – so it pretty much starts at 2″ and stays that width all the way through. With that in mind, either warm-up with another toy or be at a point where 2″ in a good width for you – without being painful. But once it’s in, it just feels exactly like that – 2″ of constant thickness throughout the entire shaft of the toy. Straight to the point and pleasurable.
And honestly, we’re pretty fond of the lack of texture or curvature. She really finds that she loves being able to more quickly and easily peg him without worrying about the curve poking a bad spot – or the texture absorbing some of the lubricant. It allows for quick, fast thrusts without much of a care in the world. And because of the dildo’s hard rigidity, she very rarely has any issue with the dildo “missing” the mark. It doesn’t tend to bend or curve into itself, so if she’s a little off on her aim, it just tends to poke at the body until it finds the place to slide in. It’s generally been a fantastic addition to their pegging adventures.
Entirely waterproof and smooth to the touch, the Temptasia Elvira is pretty easy to clean. Warm water and anti-bacterial soap will clean it up just fine. Make sure to pay thorough attention to the small divet at the tip (as mentioned below), but otherwise, it’s a really easy toy to clean-up. You can always boil it or use a bleach/water solution to sterilize the toy. Lubricant-wise, consider water-based lubricant for the best chances of compatibility. Some silicone-based lubricants may harm the silicone of the toy, so consider doing a small spot test on the base of the dildo if you’re dedicated to using silicone-based lube.
As a note for cleaning, for some reason I haven’t figured out, the Elvira dildo comes with a small indentation at the tip of the dildo where a urethra would be. I can’t see any functional reason for this, and visually, it’s slightly-neat at best. It is, however, a noticeable cleaning concern, and you’ll want to pay special attention to cleaning within this little divet at the top of your sex toy. If you’re giving your toy a thorough cleaning, you’ll likely catch it just by chance, but if you’re a “meh, I’ll just run it under some water after squirting soap on it”, you’ll regularly miss it. Just make sure you aren’t allowing bacteria to grow in this awkward spot!
