Perfect for strap-on play or those who enjoy a slimmer toy with a deep length, the Tantus Sport Long is 7.5″ in length with a diameter of just 1.25″. Made from high-quality, 100% silicone, this dildo includes a large, thin flared, triangular base that makes it quite suitable for harness use. The slightly-curved design with a thicker tip lends itself particularly well to shallow g-spot or prostate stimulation.
The Tantus Sport Long comes in packaging that looks similar to all of the Tantus packaging. It includes a white, outer cardboard box. The dildo is clearly visible through the packaging, and it comes in a plastic “tray” that holds the toy safely until you open the container. The packaging will work for storage, but as it’s a bit complicated to get the toy in and out, it’s not optimal storage. The packaging is pretty sex-friendly, and it includes the features of the toy, but I’d still love to see Tantus put care/clean directions on it somewhere. They’ve done a good job, though.
Unlike most dildos, the Tantus Sport Long happens to be slender AND long. This is really what sets it apart from most dildos. This makes it perfect for those who want to play with strap-ons but may be somewhat new to anal sex.
If you’re looking for a rigid dildo, the Tantus Sport Long isn’t it. This toy definitely has quite a bit of flexibility to it. It can easily bend in half with the tip touching the bottom. It has enough rigidity to mostly hold its own when being inserted into a tight orifice, but it really requires a good “guiding hand” in order to get things in smoothly without it bending under pressure. It’s slightly more flexible than I’d normally like to use for anal use, but at the same time, it keeps it from poking uncomfortably internally once its in, so just make sure to guide it in for penetration, and you won’t have too much of a problem with it.
Tantus designed the base with strap-on use in mind. Not only is it thick enough to hold the dildo into most O-ring set-ups, but the dildo’s base is actually triangular as well. This helps it fit better between the legs. I’ve had dildos with wide, circular bases that can become uncomfortable and press into the thighs over time. This one doesn’t do that. The small, triangular base is wide enough to keep it in the harness without having to deal with the pressing. The smaller base does make it a bit awkward to hand-hold, though. It’s still quite possible, but you’ll find that it feels a bit slender in your hands if hand-holding it for self-use.
This makes it particularly great as a strap-on dildo for beginners to anal play. Most long dildos tend to have a larger diameter. The larger diameter can work great for people that enjoy the width, but for people who are new to anal play, a slimmer toy is a better choice. Longer lengths work better in strap-on harnesses since you lose a “bit” of length of the dildo due to the size of the wearer’s body. In plus-size wearers, you lose even more of the length. Unfortunately, most toys that are long in length tend to be wide in width too. The Tantus Sport Long fixes that. It provides the longer length without the thick width that tends to come with it.
This really makes it ideal for plus-size strap-on wearers who are playing with someone that doesn’t like the wide width of most dildos. It also works great for those who love deep, intense penetration without the width of the dildo. And of course, the slimmer width is actually about right for anyone who is new to anal.
Keep in mind that, unlike some Tantus dildos, this toy doesn’t have a hole in the base to slide in a vibrator. It’s entirely solid throughout. It responds well to a vibrator placed near the vibrator to transfer vibrations through the toy.
When it comes to cleaning, you have a pretty easy toy in the Tantus Sport Long. Made from pure silicone, it is pretty simple to take care of. Just use warm water and anti-bacterial soap for regular cleanings, and any type of hardcore clean can be done with boiling water or a water and bleach solution. This Tantus dildo is best used with water-based lubricants, and if you’re hoping to use a silicone-based, make sure to do a small spot test beforehand. For storage, it does use a bit of a tacky type of silicone, so it does tend to pick up hair and lint from around your home. To clean your toy as clean as possible, I recommend keeping it in a plastic bag or other storage pouch.
Overall, this toy is the toy you’re going to want to get if you love slender length with a short width. The toy isn’t quite rigid enough to always provide targeted g-spot stimulation for those who really like pressure, but it still does an okay job. The base is perfectly shaped for harness use, and the slender size makes it great for those who are beginners to anal pleasure but still want to use strap-ons. Plus, it’s easy to clean! Thanks to Tantus for providing this long strap-on dildo for my Tantus Sport Long dildo review.
