The Tantus Splash is a new silicone dildo produced by Tantus. At about six and a half inches long with a diameter of almost two inches, the Splash is larger than your average dildo. The Tantus Splash features a unique “splash” like texture on the shaft, and the widest point of this dildo is easily at the head of the dildo.Unlike some other Tantus dildos, the Tantus Splash does not include a bullet hole at the base to add vibrations.
The packaging for the Tantus Splash is pretty standard packaging for Tantus dildos. It comes in a plastic, see-through box that easily allows you to see the toy through the packaging. Inside, the dildo is kept in a plastic tray that keeps it sitting still in the packaging. As the plastic of the box isn’t the strongest and the packaging is larger than the dildo itself, you probably will not want to keep this box for storing your dildo.
The design for the Tantus Splash is pretty interesting and texture-intensive. The splash is largest at the head of the dildo (in diameter), and it slowly gets smaller towards the base. All throughout the shaft of the dildo, there’s various textures and designs. The design is designed to look like it was hit by a “splash”. The water “droplets” are dripping down the toy’s shaft, and you can definitely see and feel the design of the silicone during use.
The silicone is something else that is pretty great. The type of silicone that Tantus uses for this dildo is nice. They actually use two different types. The “splash” on the dildo has a type that is much more draggy and requires more lubricant while the “under” material that isn’t part of the splash design is actually more slick and smoother to the touch. While you can’t notice the difference too much during use, you certainly should use a bit of extra lubricant to help deal with the extra tacky texture. Along with this, while the dildo will bend at the base of the toy, the tip of the dildo doesn’t really bend, so if you can get the base to hold firm, you could apply firm g-spot pressure if you wanted.
Something to keep in mind is that this is not the most anal-friendly dildo. Anal dildos usually have a smaller tip and a wider base in order to make insertion easier. The Tantus Splash doesn’t follow that rule. Instead, the Tantus Splash has a pretty large tip while having a smaller base. This means that you’ll have to be able to take a larger size right from the get-go versus having to take a smaller one then working up to a larger size. For those with lots of anal experience, though, this may be no issue, but for anal beginners and intermediate users, this huge size is probably too large.
For vaginal use, though, the dildo is pretty pleasurable. The tip of the dildo is pretty thick and has a nice curve to it. The dildo does require extra lubricant because of the size and material, but once you’re warmed up, it’s actually a very pleasurable dildo. The texture feels really nice, and with the nice, firm base, it’s very easy to use and thrust. As long as you aren’t trying to put it at any odd angles, the dildo easily hits the spot you’re attempting to hit, and if you have a shallow-er g-spot that is hit by most average g-spot toys, I think you’ll find that the Tantus Splash hits your g-spot as well. I personally really liked the texture of the dildo along the shaft and how it was fullest at the head, but I wish the head’s diameter wouldn’t have been quite as thick. However, that’s more of a personal preference than anything else.
The Tantus Splash is also designed to be able to fit into a strap-on harness. The Tantus base featured on the Tantus Splash works surprisingly well. Despite the weight of the tip of the dildo, the base keeps the dildo at a nice horizontal angle when the dildo is strapped on. There is no drooping with this one. Along with that, the base is curved yet supportive, so it’s really comfortable next to the skin. As long as your harness O-ring has a wide enough diameter to get “over” the large-diameter head of the dildo, you should have no issue with using this pretty sex toy in your strap-on harness.
As this is a pure silicone dildo with no mechanical components, it can easily be sterilized by boiling it. For regular cleaning, you can use warm water and antibacterial soap. The dildo can also be covered with a condom if you prefer easy clean up, but due to the size, some condom brands may be more snug than others. I don’t think you’ll need to go up to an Extra-Large size, though; most average ones should fit. The material of the Tantus Splash does pick up some hair and lint, so do be careful about where you store it. It tends to store pretty well in a plastic bag.
Overall, if you enjoy larger-diameter dildos with a unique texture, the Tantus Splash dildo could be the one for you. It’s made from high-quality silicone, and the design is something that other dildos have never seen. It will probably work best for only vaginal use unless you have experience with larger anal toys. If you enjoy wide-diameter toys and a good, pleasurable texture, the Tantus Splash could be a good dildo choice for you. Thanks for checking out this silicone dildo for my Tantus Splash dildo review.
