The Tantus Cush is a silicone dildo created by Tantus. The toy comes in multiple colors including purple, pink, and blue, and it’s made of the Tantus O2 material which is a silicone, dual-core material intended to feel realistic. The dildo features a harness-compatible base, and it’s seven inches long with a diameter of about an inch and 3/4. The dildo does not feature a bullet hole to add vibrations to the toy.
The packaging for the Tantus Cush looks like all of the packaging that you’ll see for Tantus toys. The Cush comes in a plastic pull-out tray, and you can easily remove the Tantus Cush from the packaging. The box is slightly larger than the Cush, so you may not want to store the Cush in here long-term. However, the Cush is a softer material, so you shouldn’t let it get buried under heavy objects either.
The Cush is a silicone dildo that is shaped just like the Tantus Deuce. The Tantus Cush is features a thick, 1/2 inch base on the bottom of the dildo, and it features multiple ridges along the top of the shaft. The material of the Cush produces quite a bit of drag, so you want to make sure to use this dildo with lots of external lubricant. It can be very difficult to drag your skin against the surface of the toy without some external lubricant involved. The dildo does not have a hole in the base for a bullet like some Tantus toys do, so if you want it to vibrate, you may have to hold a vibrator up against the base of the toy.
The design of the Cush resembles the Deuce dildo also made by Tantus, but in this case, the Cush is made from O2 material. I must admit that I think I’ve enjoyed the O2 material of other Tantus toys more. With this one, you can certainly feel the difference between the firm, inner core and the outer, squishy core, but there honestly isn’t much squishiness to the dildo, and that does make me a bit sad. There’s only a slight amount of squish throughout the body of the dildo. You’ll notice it during use, but it’s not nearly as plushy as VixSkin, and I feel like the outer layer of material isn’t as “movable” as it previously has been on other O2 dildos either. If you tend to not like super-squishy dildos, though, this could work out great for you!
The Cush is also harness-compatible. As it it 1 3/4 inches wide, it is definitely on the larger-end of most strap-on compatible toys. Make sure that your harness goes up to at least 2″ inches as some of them are smaller in size than that. The base is about 1/2 inch thick, and the base does a terrific job of holding up the toy at the perfect angle. You don’t get a droopy strap-on dick with this one; instead, it stands up really well at attention, and your toy will stick straight out like it’s supposed to.
During use, the Cush is a pleasurable dildo, but I would recommend making sure that you’ll enjoy larger-diameter dildos before doing a running jump towards the Cush. Added to the large-diameter is the fact that the Cush also happens to be made of a material that produces more drag than the average silicone material. It almost feels like the tackiness of a regular Tantus dildo. This works great if the feeling of drag is something you enjoy during orgasm, but when you partner the material’s drag with the larger diameter, you certainly have to prepare with a lot of lubricant and be ready to take a dildo of a larger size.
Once prepared though (and using lots of lubricant!), the dildo certainly provides a filling sensation! There are some ridges on the top of the dildo that provide a texture upon insertion, and the larger shape of the head gives a pleasurable “pop” once you get it inserted. Depending on how warmed up and how much you like texture, there’s a large ridge on the top of the shaft that may feel very pleasurable or may keep you from doing deep thrusting. Personally didn’t like the sensation of the large ridge during thrusting, so shallow thrusts work better, but if you tend to like large ridges during thrusting, this one could work really well for you.
Cleaning the Cush is pretty easy. You just use warm water and antibacterial soap. It’s small enough to fit into an average condom, but it might be a tight fit. XL condoms may be a better bet with this dildo, but feel free to try the average ones if you want to. For sterilization, you just have to boil this toy over the stove or place it in the top-shelf of the dishwasher. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant as the Tantus O2 material is a silicone material, and it should be stored away from places that will allow it to pick up lint. It doesn’t pick up too much, but it would be a possibility.
Overall, I like the Tantus Cush, but this is certainly a toy for size-queens and size-kings. The toy’s drag mixed with the larger diameter make it difficult to use unless you like larger items and are very warmed up. However, the O2 material feels neat and more realistic than regular silicone, and if you want to try some of the realistic materials that aren’t in a realistic color, the Tantus Cush O2 could really fit the bill; with its harness-compatible base, interesting O2 texture, and slightly plushy and flexible body, the Tantus Cush O2 can be a good, versatile dildo for those that like larger toys.
