The Tantus Juice Silicone Anal Plug is a unique anal toy. About four inches in length with a diameter of slightly under an inch and a half at the widest point, the Tantus Juice silicone anal plug is designed to be different than most anal plugs by the divets that run throughout the body of the plug. The Tantus Juice butt plug also includes a long, thin base instead of the typical larger bases.
Like most Tantus sex toys, the Tantus Juice plug comes in a plastic, see-thorugh box that clearly displays the butt plug through the packaging. Inside the packaging, the Tantus Juice anal plug comes in a see-through plastic tray that will hold the sex toy safe during shipping. To be honest, most of my Tantus packaging boxes end up breaking or tearing relatively quickly, so I’d recommend finding some other method of storing your anal plug.
The Tantus Juice anal plug is designed pretty simply, but it does have that interesting ridging that makes it unique. The entire body of the Tantus Juice plug is made from a soft, silky silicone that easily glides against the hands and body. The entire insertable portion of the plug, much like the other new generation Tantus plugs, is pretty firm and rigid, but it does have a bit of squish to it (to make it more comfortable to wear). The Tantus Juice anal plug tends to have the most flexiblity in the “neck”/retention area of the plug which is where it will bend. This works surprisingly well because it allows you to insert the plug without much force; instead of the plug bending along the shaft when you apply pressure, this anal plug will go in pretty comfortably since the shaft isn’t too flexible.
One of the distinguishing features of the Tantus Juice are the ridges that run along the insertable portion of the anal plug. This is definitely unique, though if you don’t like the idea of these ridges, Tantus makes other butt plugs that are the same as this one – just without the ridges. The ridges, surprisingly, don’t make that much of a difference, lubricant-wise, for insertion. As long as you have your regular amount of lubricant on the Tantus Juice butt plug, insertion should go as well as usual. These ridges don’t go too far into the butt plug such as to cause an issue with cleaning (no, they’re mostly surface-like), but at the same time, they definitely go deeply enough into the surface that you’ll definitely be able to feel them and notice that they’re there.
The biggest sensation that the Tantus Juice can provide is that “twisting” sensation. Once the plug is in, the ridges can best be felt when the plug is twisted. However, if you’re going to attempt that, definitely make sure that you used a good amount of lubricant to make sure the ridges feel pleasurable instead of painful. It can also be a bit difficult to keep the plug inserted far enough while still being able to make that twisting sensation, but it’s definitely possible in some positions (and especially with the help of a partner). If you aren’t twisting it, though, the Tantus Juice butt plug actually ends up feeling like any average butt plug.
Another awesome thing about the Tantus Juice is the base that it was made with. The base is long and slender, and it’s designed to fit between the cheeks comfortably instead of fitting widely between the cheeks like many anal plug bases do. The base also is a bit more flexible than most anal sex toy bases. However, it’s not flexible enough to allow the plug to get pulled fully into the butt unless you have some seriously strong muscles or just went from a larger toy down to the Tantus Juice. The base is extremely comfortable, and even when sitting down on the Tantus Juice, the base doesn’t poke uncomfortably into any areas. I think this is partly because the base is made from a flexible type of silicone, so it’s hard for it to stay “poking” anywhere.
When it comes to long-term wear, the Tantus Juice has that covered as well. The silicone of the Tantus Juice is extremely silky smooth and firm. This means that the silicone of the butt plug really doesn’t “reabsorb” as much lubricant as other plugs, so you don’t have to worry about reapplication of lubricant too much. Along with that, the base of the Tantus Juice is surprisingly comfortable on the body (including to sit on), so you really can get away with wearing this plug for long-term without feeling like it’s sliding out or having it poke uncomfortably.
To clean this silicone sex toy, you can pretty much use whatever method works best for you. Because the Tantus Juice anal plug is made from pure silicone, you can easily clean it with warm soap and water. If you want to sterilize it, though, for a more thorough cleaning, you can also boil this silicone plug in water. Make sure to thoroughly clean this plug no matter what method you use, though, as the divets in the side of the shaft will require extra attention.
Overall, the Tantus Juice plug is an interesting plug. It has some ridges that you won’t really notice too much until you go to actually making a “juicing” motion while wearing the plug. This makes the plug very versatile, and you don’t have to always want to use the ridging for your pleasure. Along with having an easy-to-insert design, the Tantus Juice also provides a really comfortable base that works well for long-term wear along with a soft, silky silicone that doesn’t “eat up” lubricant too quickly.
