The Tantus Goddess is a white, pearl-colored dildo sold by Tabu Toys adult toys. The dildo is made from body-safe silicone, and it’s about six and a half inches long with a diameter of about an inch and a half at the widest point. The silicone is flexible, and the name “Tantus” is etched into the base of this sex toy. It has an interesting design with lots of ridges along the shaft of the dildo. The Goddess has a bullet-available hole and also comes with a standard bullet that fits into the hole.
I’m not sure what’s with the Tantus packaging, but my Tantus boxes almost always come breaking or slipping at the corners. The box is very classy and displays the features of the dildo without being trashy. The dildo and the bullet come in a plastic tray. This box can definitely be used for storage if you like, but I’m just keeping my Goddess in a plastic baggie instead.
The Goddess has a bullet hole in the bottom of the dildo so you can slide in an average-sized bullet for use to add vibrations to the Goddess. The Goddess actually comes with a standard-sized bullet that easily slides into the dildo to add vibrations. I suggest adding a bit of lubricant to the bullet hole to make it much easier to slide the bullet out of the hole once you are done using it; Tantus toys tend to “eat” my bullets sometimes and cause the biggest fuss getting the bullets out. This one got the bullet caught in the bullet hole multiple times while attempting to clean it afterwards. When inserted fully, the bullet does not go into shaft all the way; it does stick out.
The bullet has one-speed vibrations which can be controlled by the push-button at the end of the bullet. In some sex positions for harness use, the button can get pressed during use, but for the most part, it stays on/off with whatever you put it by. The vibrations transfer well through the silicone, and while it isn’t vibrator-strong, it’s strong enough to add silght vibrations to a dildo to increase the pleasure. With the Tantus Suction Cup attachment, the bullet hold can also be used to attach a suction cup and make this dildo stick up against surfaces as well.
I’m not sure what’s up with the base, to be honest. This doesn’t remind me of the typical Tantus toys that I’ve received. For one, the base is uneven. As in, the bullet hole at the bottom of the base actually stays out “farther” than the base itself, so the dildo never sits upright well. It’s always slightly leaning to one side, and it’s very unstable. For another, the base isn’t really “flat” like most Tantus bases. It pretty much spends its (small base) life being slightly flared but it doesn’t come out very far from there. While this will hold it up in a harness, it makes the circumference slightly bigger than if the base was flat which might be a problem if your harness has trouble fitting this.
My harness did not have any problems fitting this dildo. (Spareparts Joque) It is slightly tight, but it does hold the dildo okay. However, and I’m not sure if this is because of the base or the bullet or what, this was not comfortable for use for a person-on-top-of-it position because of the bullet. The bullet would stick out of the bullet hole and press very uncomfortably into the skin. I would remove the bullet, but remember that piece of advice about how it will get stuck? Well, it got stuck, and we can’t manage to get it out, so we’ve been using it in not him-on-top positions.
It works “meh” for other harness use. It’s surprisingly short for a harness dildo. If you consider that you lose about an inch just to wearing and having it as a harness it ends up being about five inches of insertable length. It just doesn’t seem long enough for us for regular use with a harness. It’s okay, but it doesn’t get nearly enough of the length inserted to be one of our regular harness dildos. Because of my weight, I need a longer dildo to be a regular harness-compatible dildo, and if you’re more body-fit, it should work a lot better for you.
The sensation of the Goddess is different. The texture is a bit odd; there are some pretty intense ripples throughout the dildo, and they require a little bit of extra lubrication in order to use this dildo comfortably. The head has little ridges in it as well which is different. The ridges on the shaft can definitely be felt easily during use. It adds an interesting sensation to sex, and the straight-ness of the dildo doesn’t hit the g-spot, but the interesting sensation of the design can be very pleasurable.
To clean the Goddess, it can be put into some boiling water for sterilization or cleaned with bleach as well. The bullet seems to be waterproof as my bullet still works even after washing and submerging the toy with the bullet in it. We use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean the Goddess. It’s compatible with water-based lubricants, and I’m keeping my dildo in a Ziplock baggie for storage. It doesn’t pick up a lot of lint, but if left laying around, it will pick up some.
If you’re in love with the shape or the design of the Goddess, it’s a good choice, but it’s not one of Tantus’s better dildos (in my opinion). The material is body-safe, and the design is unique, though, so if the design really appeals to you, it’s worth the purchase. However, if you’re hunting for a great harness dildo, it’s not one of the best I’ve tried. Thanks to TabuToys sex toys for sending me this dildo for my Tantus Goddess Pearl review.
