The Sweet Obession Euphoric is a rechargeable vibrator from California Exotics. It is waterproof, made from body-safe silicone, and it includes 10-functions with a special memory chip to remember the function you were on when you turned it off. It also comes with a 3V Lithium battery as well as the charger that charges the Lithium battery. This California Exotics vibrator is part of their Sweet Obsession line of sex toys.
The packaging for the Sweet Obsession Euphoric comes in a large, white box that shows pearls on the front and has a basic white desigh. It shows a picture of the toy on the front, and it talks about the features of the toy as well. Inside the box is a large tray that has the battery, the pieces to the charger, and the vibrator sitting in it and it makes it easy to remove the pieces. The box includes instructions which basically give you a picture look of the toy, safety concerns about charging, how to assemble the charging port, how to use teh charging port, and lots of other instructions. These instructions are VERY detailed!
The Sweet Obsession Euphoric is a vibrator that is a part of the Sweet Obsession line. This is an entire line of vibrators that comes with a 3V lithium battery as well as a charger to actually charge the battery. The battery, once charger, goes into the sex toy to power the sex toy. Each one of the Sweet Obsession vibrators also includes a memory chip to remember the last setting of vibrator that was used with the toy.
I do have to wonder a bit about why California Exotics chose to take the vibrator this way. After all, it’s just a rechargeable Lithium battery. Why have the battery actually pop out of the toy instead of just have the battery stay inside the sex toy for charging through a charging port? I’ve been brainstorming to attempt to think of the reasons, and I have a couple reasons. The biggest one is that it might be cheaper to included a charger and the rechargeable Lithium battery than attempting to make it built-in and rechargeable. That’s always a possibility. The other possibility (and could really come in handy if you fall in love with the Sweet Obsession line of vibrators) is that this single 3V rechargeable battery seems to be the same battery that all of the toys have, so you could recharge this one battery (or two), and it would work for your entire Sweet Obsession toy line.
I’m not sure how I feel about the battery idea. I like to think it’s absolutely amazing, but it does make me wonder why they didn’t just make the entire toy rechargeable instead of just the battery. Does the system work? Yes, it does. Really smoothly. You’ll have no issue charging or placing the battery in the toy, but I do have to wonder what the reasoning was behind it. Maybe the 3V is supposed to be stronger than an average AA or AAA battery? I don’t know. Just something to think about, I suppose.
The charger does come in multiple pieces, and this is because it is meant to be easy to travel with the charger if need be. It also can disassemble for storage as well. There ar ethree pieces, and each one of the three pieces fits together well. It takes a lot of forcing to make the last piece get on, and it’s a bit difficult to get back off, but it’s not too horrible. I can’t say that we’ll be taking our charger apart any time soon though. Once it is assembled, the charger plugs into the wall like any average battery recharging station, and you can slip the 3V lithium battery into the charger.
Once the battery is charged, it slips into the base of the Sweet Obsession Euphoric vibrator like any regular batteries would. The vibrator should run on high for at least 45 minutes based upon a full charge. The full charge takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery, but if you own multiple Sweet Obsession sex toys, you can easily charge up two of the 3V batteries at the same time. As long as you remember to charge your battery after (pretty much) every use, you shouldn’t have any issue with the vibrator dying mid-use, but if you tend to take longer masturbation sessions with your vibrator, this is probably not a good vibrator for you unless you own multiple Sweet Obsession toys.
So, charging issues asside, how well does this vibrator work? It works pretty decently. The vibrations are not as strong as they could be. They are probably in the middle of moderate in terms of intensity. They aren’t too strong and they aren’t too soft. The vibrator does, for some reason, start off with the strongest intensity on the vibrator and then goes down from there, so you do have to cycle through all of the vibrations if you are someone that enjoys going from low-to-high in the middle of a session. At the same time, the vibrations and the patterns are neat, so it does give you a range of options to play from.
I will say that I’m impressed with the design of the vibrator. Sometimes, because of the silicone of a sex toy, the vibrations really seem to be deadened because of the plushiness of the silicone. The silicone, while plush, still lets the vibrations through really nicely. It seems like they put the motor right in the very tip of the vibrator, and the vibrations come through perfectly. It seems like you get the full strength of the vibrations even though this toy is silicone.
Personally, I couldn’t get an orgasm from this toy unfortunately. The vibrations just seem to be too mild for me to be able to orgasm. It was certainly pleasurable to use externally, and it’s just as pleasurable to use internally as well. Because of the small size, it goes in very comfortably, and if you are someone who dislikes larger-girth toys, the Sweet Obsession Euphoric could really end up being a good choice for you. As it is waterproof, you could certainly take this vibrator in the bathtub or shower if you tend to play with your toys in the water.
To use the vibrator, there are two buttons on the front of the toy. One button is the dedicated on/off switch while the other button is the patterns switch. It has 3 steady modes of vibration as well as 7 different patterns. It does have a memory feature, so if you turn it off, it will resume at the same function with which you turned it off. This can possibly be annoying if you were hoping to shut off the vibrator to get back to the original first one, but if you are someone who always uses the same setting, this can be more helpful than annoying.
As this toy is waterproof, cleaning this toy is extremely simple. You just have to use warm water and anti-bacterial soap. As it’s waterproof, it’s very easy to clean and you don’t have to be too careful about getting waterproof splashed. The rechargeable battery and charging station should NEVER get near water as they are not waterproof. This toy is only compatible with water-based lubricant, and as it doesn’t pick up too much lint or fuzzies, you can keep this toy (mostly) where you’d like. I recommend finding a storage bag or a ziploc baggie for it though.
Overall, this is a neat toy, but I do have to wonder about why California Exotics chose this specific way to power this toy. It’s certainly neat, and I certainly enjoy the change from the norm, but I wonder if it is the most effective way to do this. If you think you’ll like multiple Sweet Obsessions vibrators, you can certainly get a lot of use from the recharging system, and the sex toy itself is pretty fun (and discreet) and easy to use. However, if you require very strong vibrations to tend to masturbate for longer sessions in one sitting, this vibrator probably will not be the best choice for you.
