The Sonic Double Dildo is a silicone double dildo sold by SheVibe sex toys. Especially designed to be flexible and work between two partners, the Sonic Double Dildo is made from a 100% silicone with a smooth finish that can work for both partner-play or single play. This is a dildo with no vibrations or special features, and it comes in multiple color options.
The packaging for the Sonic Double Dildo is pretty basic. It’s long and slender, and the design on the packaging is pretty cute. You should keep in mind, though, that the packaging is pretty large in length, so you’ll need somewhere to store it. That’s because the dildo is so long in length. Since the packaging is barely larger than the dildo in diameter, though, it does work wonderfully for storage. The dildo includes an instruction manual, but the instruction manual doesn’t have words – only pictures – and really isn’t very helpful. The packaging is mostly made from recyclable materials.
The Sonic Double Dildo is very simply designed. It has two separate ends that are connected by a thinner amount of silicone in the middle. Both sides do have some pretty “hard” edges compared to most round and cylindrical dildos, so keep that in mind, but unless you’re really sensitive to it, as the edges are rounded, you probably won’t even notice it during use. The silicone is a soft, smooth silicone that has no texture to it. On one end, there’s the FunFactory logo etched into the silicone, so make sure to take extra care to clean that logo when cleaning this dildo.
What sets the Sonic Double Dildo apart is the flexibility of the sex toy. Most other double dildos are made from a firm silicone or harder materials and have no flexibility to them. This means that using them with a partner can actually end up being pretty difficult or painful if the wrong angle happens. What makes the Sonic so good at double-penetration is its flexibility in the middle. The entire dildo has quite a bit of flexibility to it, but it has the most flexibility towards the center of the sex toy which means that, instead of poking uncomfortably if you get a bad angle, the dildo just bends, and you can easily go back to using it with your partner. This amazing feature actually makes it one of the best double-ended dildos out there. You can usually find the same flexibility in other materials, but this is the only body-safe, phthalate-free double-dildo I know that has it.
The flexibility of the dildo does have a downside, though. It doesn’t work nearly as well as a dildo when used solo. This is because the non-used end tends to bend and give uncomfortable weight while you’re trying to thrust with the end you’re using. It’s definitely not the best dildo for solo, single-hole use, but it does tend to work a bit better if you have a partner using it on you. This is because the partner will have a different angle, and it’s easier to “hold up” the non-used end while using the other end.
So how does it feel? Well, both ends are unique from one another. One end has a slight g-spot curve while the other end is thicker. The end with the g-spot curve is more “flattened” while the opposite end has a more round-like appearance with a thicker substance to it. The smaller end would be okay for anal use if you have anal experience, and the g-spot curve will probably hit your g-spot if you have a more shallow g-spot. The thicker end definitely fills up, though, and is larger than the average human penis in diameter too, so that’s something to keep in mind. Both ends have different sensations to them, but I wouldn’t call either of those sensations too “intense”. They are pleasurable, but neither of them are too intense for anyone, so don’t expect anything too much, but do expect something that feels good when inserted.
When cleaning this silicone toy, you’ll want to be careful, but luckily, the bendablility of the sex toy lends well to fitting into smaller pans. It can be boiled for sterilization, and for regular cleaning, you can easily use warm water and antibacterial soap. This long dildo is only compatible with water-based lubricant, and it does pick up QUITE a bit of small paper and fuzzies, so make sure to store it in a long sex toy pouch, bag, or its original box to keep it as clean as possible.
Overall, the Sonic Double Dildo is one of THE best dildos if you’ve seen those scissoring scenes where two people share a dildo – and you want to try it yourself. It’s flexible enough to make it comfortable while being long enough to make it possible. It doesn’t work as well for solo use as a shorter dildo would, but hey – who usually purchases these long double-dildos for pure solo use anyway?
