The Sealed with a Kiss game is a pretty basic game sold by Adult Sex Toys. The game includes a deck of cards (54 of them), a rubber band, a small instruction manual, and a small booklet of ending rewards. This game really resembles Uno, just with less cards and with more sexual instructions. The game is intended for two adult players. The cards are the size of regular playing cards and seem as well made as regular playing cards. The tagline is “A Romance Game for Grown-Up Couples”. This game is manufactured by California Exotics.
All of the pieces come in a box that’s purple, decorated with kiss prints, and shows the title in large letters on the front. The box isn’t exactly discreet, but it isn’t shouting “sex” either with nude models. It’s done tastefully and makes the game look fun to play. The box is about twice and wide as a card and is the same height. It works well for storage if you want to keep your cards protected from harm.
The game is intended for two adult players. However, the rules of this game aren’t too racy. If you have four or less players, you should be able to get away with playing this with no problem. However, with anything more than four, you’ll want a different deck. While this does play like Uno, it doesn’t have as many cards, so the pile will deplete really easily. Also, if you plan on playing in a large group, you may want to discard the “ending prize” since those tend to be blatantly sexual as opposed to just the kissing cards found throughout the game itself.
The game is ridiculously easy to play. If you’ve ever played Uno in your life, you’ll be able to jump right it without looking at the instruction book. You just have the regular cards, and they have a number and color on them. Both players take turn placing a card in the center pile that is either the same color as the card in the center pile or the same number. This continues, back and forth, until a player doesn’t have a card they can play. Then, if they have one, they can choose to use their “Kiss Card”. A Kiss Card is the equivalent of a Wild Card in the original Uno game. This allows you to place the card on whatever card happens to be in the pile, and you choose what color to go next with. However, since this is a “Kiss Card” and not a Wild Card, you then have to perform whatever kiss is described on the card with your partner before you can move on.
From there, you just keep playing until one player has rid themselves of all of their cards. The first player to have no cards left is the winner. The winner then chooses an unseen card from the top of pile and that number is the number of activity they get to choose from the Ending Rewards booklet. The booklet includes multiple pages of the same number, so you can flip through and have your favorite choice. The rewards are very widely varied – very widely. One reward requires you to give your partner a back scratch or a kiss while another requires you to go straight into 69. Another requires you to jump into the shower and have fun there while other rewards require you to brush your partner’s hair. If you are uncomfortable with certain actions, this allows you to pick an action that you want to do. (For example, if the winning player wants to go straight to something sexual, they can choose that. If the winning player wants to do something romantic then play another rounds, there are actions for that too.)
The game was definitely enjoyable to play. We had a lot of fun playing multiple rounds of the game, and the Kiss Cards really add a fun, romantic aspect to a regular game of Uno. For the four of us to play the game, it took less than five minutes per game. For two of us, it was even less. The games run so short because of the Kiss Cards. It seems like there are more Kiss Cards than you’d expect to have in a game like this (like 10 out of 52 cards are Kiss Cards), so you end up getting quite a few “PIck a Colors”. And no one is left with that inability to play their last card if their last card is a Kiss Card. So the games end much more quickly. That isn’t a bad thing though; it was actually enjoyable enough to want to play it right away again.
Some examples of some of the Kiss Cards: “Give Your Lover a hot, passionate kiss”, “Kiss your lover softly on the lips”, “Give your lover a kiss with lots of tongue!” All of the kiss cards, as you can imagine, describe different types of kisses to give.
Examples of some of the Ending Rewards: “Get naked and demonstrate a “dry hump on your partner”, “Tell your partner the hottest thing about them”, “Demonstrate your sexiest walk”, “Be spontaneous! Have sex right now”, “Describe what you would like to do with a vibrator”, “In an ideal world, how many times would you have sex including masturbation?”, “Give your partner 1 minute of only oral sex.” Things of that nature. In this booklet, there are 200 different ending rewards to choose from – each number 1-10 to give you choice when you choose that end card.
While this is just an Uno deck with some kiss cards added, I can’t say I’m complaining. The idea was neat, and it made for a fun game to play. It’s certainly not the most sexual game on the planet, but it definitely is one of the more fun games – especially for the price. It’s not absolutely amazing, but it is definitely amusing and while some of the rewards can seem a little lame, we still had a lot of fun playing it – both in the group and couple setting. This adult store stocks this adult game. I loved Sealed with a Kiss, and I think you would too.
