The latest in affordable air pressure sex toys, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a clitoral sex toy that focuses on suction and vibration of the clitoris. Instead of just applying vibration to an area, this particular toy offers a suction head which surrounds the clitoris – and applies that sensation all throughout the clitoris. The Satisfyer Pro 2 is waterproof with silicone clitoral tips. It’s fully rechargeable through the included USB cable and its included Lithium-ion battery. While the Satisfyer Pro 2 ships with a single tip, if you don’t enjoy the fit of that tip, the Satisfyer website has a set of 5 interchangeable tips designed for other clitoral shapes.
The packaging for the Satisfyer Pro 2 is pretty good. The outer box is white and clean with basic information on the vibrator included on the outside. Inside, you’ll find the vibrator within a plastic pull-out tray. The vibrator also includes the charging cable as well as a small instruction manual about how to use the toy.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 is not your standard vibrator. Instead of just “vibrating”, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is part of the new wave of vibrators that surround the clitoris and provide suction onto the clitoris instead of just vibration. While the toy vibrates as well, the primary focus of this women’s sex toy is to provide pleasurable suction onto the clitoris. Position the tip of the vibrator in the right spot, and it’ll grip onto the clitoris and provide vibration and suction from all sides of the clitoris. As you can imagine, this new type of women’s pleasure toy has become really really popular within the past couple of years – and that’s because it works really really well. These types of toys have been known to help with multiple orgasms (even in people who didn’t think they could have them) as well as easier orgasms from people who have issues getting off.
With that technology, though, the prohibitive factor was (and definitely still is) the cost. Most of these types of vibrators are pretty expensive – because the technology isn’t nearly as simplistic as the basic vibrators out there. Satisfyer, however, has been focused on providing this type of toy for affordable prices. The Satisfyer Pro 2 is only one vibrator out of their full line of other sex toys – including lots of air pressure vibrators.
This type of design requires a good “suction” hold on the clitoris. Otherwise, it doesn’t really provide the same amount of pleasure. Fortunately, most manufacturers have caught onto the idea that not every clitoris is the same size. Satisfyer is one of those. As mentioned previously, the Satisfyer Pro 2 only includes a single tip supposedly designed for a “standard” clitoris. However, because of the simple modular system, you can just slip off the tip of this vibrator and slide on a different one. Satisfyer sells a set of 5 different tips on their website if you find that the included tip isn’t a good fit for your body.
You don’t have to worry about batteries on this air suction vibrator! The Satisfyer Pro 2 is fully rechargeable via the magnetic charging cable that it comes with. This is a USB cable – so you’ll likely have to plug it into something unless your house is set-up with USB outlets. This air pressure vibrator requires 2 and a half hours to reach a full charge, and once it has its full charge, you’ll get a half an hour of run time out of the vibe. The Satisfyer Pro 2 uses a magnetic charging connection at the base of the vibrator. The magnetic portion isn’t particularly strong, so you’ll have to be careful when setting it up to charge. As long as nothing bumps it, it tends to stay where you positioned it, but the magnets break their seal pretty easily – so again, charge this vibe in a low-traffic, low-movement area.
The Satisfyer Pro 2 controls very simply. There’s a power button (which will turn the vibrator on and off) and an intensity button (which will turn the intensity up with every press of the button). Holding the power button down will shut off the vibrator. It’s very simple, and the buttons press really nicely. However, they don’t press so nicely that you accidentally activate them when you’re just holding the vibe.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the new generation of Satisfyer Pro 2 vibrators – the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation – comes with different controls. It’s equipped with a single power button – like this version – but the other button is a +/- control that allows you to increase or decrease the intensity with a single button press instead of the cycling of this older model. As I rarely decrease vibration once I’ve increased it, I don’t mind this cycling design, but you’ll want to figure out which version of the vibrator you’re looking at purchasing. The newer vibrator has a longer button next to the power button to make room for the +/- two separate buttons.
Now, obviously, the biggest comparison that most people will make of the Satisfyer Pro 2 is to the Womanizer line. So how does it compare? It’s honestly a pretty damn good comparison. The Satisfyer Pro 2 doesn’t quite have the “design flourish” that the Womanizer line does, but having a beautiful-looking vibrator is probably not the most important for most people. At the low and medium levels, comparing the Satisfyer Pro 2 to the Womanizer Plus, the toy is pretty much comparable in sensation. At the highest levels, the Satisfyer Pro 2 tends to lean a little bit more to the “buzzy” side of vibrations and is a bit weaker (probably 80% of the power at the highest level), but it’s not a huge difference in sensation unless you’re trying to nitpick at it and tend to have strong feelings about buzzy versus rumbly. Considering the difference in cost, it’s a damn good option.
The other thing I’ve noticed is the run time of the Satisfyer Pro 2 versus the Womanizer Plus. On a full charge, you get 30 minutes of run time out of your Satisfyer Pro 2. At full charge on the Womanizer Plus, you get 90 minutes. This is a very large difference. You should keep this in mind if you tend to use your vibrator for long periods of time. I know I’ve used my Womanizer Plus for more than a half-hour at once in the past. I think you definitely can pull out an orgasm from the Satisfier Pro 2 within a half an hour of use – if that’s what you’re going straight for – but if you’re like me and like to enjoy edging and drawing things out, the shorter battery life of the Satisfier Pro 2 might be an issue.
When it comes to cleaning up, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is pretty darn easy to clean. This is in part because the tip of the vibrator is really the only part of the toy that was designed to come in contact with any bodily fluids. This tip, which is made from silicone, pulls off of the vibrator and then can just be washed easily. Let the tip sit out to fully dry before attaching it back onto the vibrator. You can give the handle and body of the vibrator a quick wipe down with a wet washcloth if you’d like, but it shouldn’t get that much bodily fluids on it. Make sure to give a pretty thorough cleaning to the tip of the vibrator (underneath the silicone tip) if you had a particularly rough play session. As this toy isn’t really designed for insertion, there’s no reason to use lubricant with it. If you do use any lube, though, make sure it’s a water-based lubricant. Some silicone-based lubricants may harm the material of the vibrator.
Overall, if you’re on a budget and want to experience the pleasure of air-based vibrators, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is honestly what I’d suggest. It’s easy to use, a great toy as an introduction, and damn pleasurable. The short battery life can be frustrating to session masturbators, but if you switch out with another toy, you may not mind the battery life. Something had to give for a price that’s half the price of the cheapest air-based vibrators out there. It’s a pleasurable toy that’s worth picking up if the suction vibrators have been teasing you. Thanks to Satisfyer for sending out this clitoral suction vibrator for my Satisfyer Pro 2 vibrator review.
