The Sasha Grey Signature Billy Glass Wand is a glass anal dildo. Billy is 8 inches long, and it’s made of Pyrex glass. It includes intense nubs on each side of the shaft, and it’s intended to be a glass butt plug. The insertable portion is about a full seven inches with a circular base that is over an inch in size to work as a flared base for the sex toy.
The packaging for the Sasha Grey Signature Billy Glass Wand is very pretty, and it shows off the fact that is part of the Sasha Grey signature anal toys line very well. It is a beautiful cardboard box, and inside this cardboard box, there is a slide-out foam tray that has the Billy glass dildo packaged very tightly inside it. There isn’t much room for the Billy glass dildo to move during shipping, so it does arrive safely. It can be used for storage of your toy after you receive it, but the packaging isn’t very recyclable.
The Sasha Grey Signature Billy Glass Wand is certainly a formidable wand! It’s a pretty large wand, and it feels pretty heavy as well. It has a very unique design that is pretty different than most average glass sex toys. Instead of having texture all throughout the shaft of the toy, the Sasha Grey Billy Glass Dildo just includes two very-large dots on both sides of the shaft opposing each other. At the base of this shaft, there also is a circle-looking handle that is large enough to fit two fingers in it at the same time.
The thing with the Sasha Grey Glass Billy sex toy is that it’s marketed as a BUTT PLUG. Yes. this giant almost-9 inches sex toy is designed to be put in your butt and left there. I can not even begin to express my disbelief that this is designed to be a butt plug. This may not be a big deal if this wasn’t a rigid material, but it’s glass. This means it doesn’t “move” or “adjust”. There are curves inside the butt, and when the Billy encounters them, it really doesn’t “move aside”. It just pokes them. And it’s actually painful. For that reason, I do recommend you really think of the Billy as a dildo versus a butt plug. If you have the courage or intimate knowledge of your butt to think you can pull it off as a butt plug, it’s a good-quality toy, and I recommend you do so, but from my point-of-view, this will never, in a million years, be a good butt plug for us. It’s just too long. (And we love putting long things up his butt!)
You should enjoy texture to really enjoy this sex toy – regardless of how you plan on using it. The nubs on the side of the dildo are VERY intense. (It reminds me of the Dragon’s intense texturing.) Each one sticks out from the shaft about 1/4 inch – most standard dildo nubs only stick out about 1/8 inch. There are five nubs on each side, and they are pretty large in size as well. If you aren’t into texture, this is gonna hurt. If you like texture, this is gonna be amazing.
If you’re going to try a different hole, the vaginal walls seem a lot less “sensitive” for that intense texture, so the Sasha Grey glass Billy dildo seems a lot more forgiving. It’s still intense – don’t get me wrong, but it doesn’t border on painful unless you don’t use enough lubricant. Along with that, the length seems much more comfortable when used vaginally, and the larger diameter seems much easier vaginally than anally. I still think the texture is too intense for me, personally, but I prefer the Billy when used vaginally versus anally. If you enjoy large, nub-like textures on an easy-to-thrust glass dildo, though, the Sasha Grey Glass Billy Wand can definitely be for you.
To clean this glass sex toy, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. As this glass sex toy is made from Pyrex Glass, you can also boil it to sterilize it. It’s a bit long for full condom coverage, but the condom will cover the majority of the shaft if you want to use barrier protection with your glass dildo. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and it should be stored with a padded bag. It doesn’t come with a storage bag, but the packaging will work for storage if you’d like. For something more discreet, though, you’ll want to use multiple socks or padded bag.
Overall, the Sasha Grey Billy Glass Wand is an okay vaginal dildo that has some serious length and texture behind it. The glass is nice and silky smooth, and the black design is really stunning – this toy, however, is definitely not for the faint-of-texture-loving people. Those side nubs stick out pretty far, and they are surprisingly intense. And who in their marketing department designed this should be marketed as an anal plug?!?
