The Riley Steele Forbidden Fancies Vibrator is a traditional classic vibrator based off of the Pirates series. This particular vibrator is based off of Riley Steele off of the Pirates adult movie. It’s a very nice, soft plastic. I was actually surprised enough by how soft the plastic was so I sat around and just pet my vibrator for awhile. Really, it’s that soft. I’ve used the Velvet Cote material, but this is much softer. The vibrator itself is covered in pink and black flowers with a random pink/black skeleton and a pink little Pirate ship. It’s actually really freakin’ cute. Like, cuter than most “women’s vibrators”. The base of this traditional vibe is just regular black and decorated with two lines of plastic gems.
The packaging is just as cute. It a piece of plastic decorated in Pirate fashion with Riley Steele in a cute outfit on the front. She’s fully dressed, but there’s some obvious cleavage. On the front of this piece of plastic, there’s a box of plastic that is attached that displays the vibrator itself. At the bottom of the box, there’s a black satin bag that the vibrator can be kept in. It’d be possible to keep the vibrator in the original packaging (and I think I will), but it will take a bit more room because of the plastic background piece that is included in the packaging.
This classic vibrator is actually powered by two C batteries. It’s a powerful little thing. You unscrew the cap at the bottom of the vibrator, and then you can slide both batteries in – head first. It can be a little hard to rescrew the cap back on, but once you do, it will happily provide its vibrations. It has five different unique speeds of vibrations. The first three are the regular low, medium, and high vibration levels. The last two are diferent patterns. One is just regular pulsations while the other one is two short pulsations with a long pulsation. The vibrations themselves are about what you’d expect from a C battery – they’re definitely stronger than the average traditional vibrator. Instead of just being regular surface vibrations too, they are definitely nice, deep vibrations.
However, if being discreet is something you need, this is a little loud. It isn’t horribly loud, but it is definitely not discreet. I’d say that, on loud, this could be heard through a closed door unless you turn on some music to help mask the sound of the vibrator.
During use, I found that it really does work best for clitoral use. During insertion, it can be a little firm, and because of the length, it actually can just be a little uncomfortable during insertion. I much preferred it for clitoral use. Because of the soft feel of the vibrator, it just glides along the skin very comfortably. It’s comfortable with lubricant, and it doesn’t really absorb lubricant too much. The lubricant lasts about as well as it would on most plastic toys. It doesn’t dry up too quickly, but it might take a couple applications if you plan on using the toy for a long period of time. The gems on the base of the vibrator actually help out because they gave me some grip when it came to the lubricant. It make it much easier to grasp and hold in my hand.
The last point I really have to make is about the decals on the vibrator. I’ve used this multiple times, and the decals haven’t pealed off at all. I’ve also attempted to use my fingernail to scratch off the decals, but they aren’t coming off. They are definitely secured onto the vibrator. My only complaint about the decals, and it’s a purely aesthetic and picky one, is that the decals are wrapped a little bad – they have an obvious “stop” line where the decals stopped and started. Aside from that little picky point, I found it difficult to find much of anything wrong with this vibrator.
This plastic vibrator can be used with any type of lubricant – no limits with this one. To clean it, you just have to use some antibacterial soap with some warm water. For storage, I chose to keep mine in the box that it originally came in, but the satin storage back would work just as well. Because it’s made from plastic, this doesn’t pick up lint or anything, so it’s actually amazingly easy to take care of. My first vibrator was a plastic vibrator, and for someone who wants a minimal-care way to experience sex toys, I fully recommend a plastic vibrator like this one.
However, when you consider how soft, gorgeous, and strong this special vibrator is, it’s pretty amazing – even without being too quiet. It’s a neat idea for a vibrator, and while it’s only just a traditional vibrator in looks, I feel like it does go beyond what I’d regularly expect out of a traditional vibrator. It’s gorgeous, something to be proud of, soft on my skin, and strong – which is much more than most classic vibrations provide. This adult toy store sells this Pirates vibrator, so go purchase the Riley Steele Forbidden Fancies Vibrator. Be sure to check out the rest of their selection of traditional vibrators as well.
