“Pocket Superflirt” Book Review

Pocket Superflirt Book
Pocket Superflirt Book

“Pocket Superflirt” is a small, pocket-sized hardcover book written by Tracey Cox. Designed as a travel-sized version of her popular “Superflirt” book, “Pocket Superflirt” has the most-important flirting and seduction tips and packaged them into a small, simple-to-read format. At 95 pages, “Pocket Superflirt” includes 10 different chapters. The book is very simple and easy to read, and it took me less than an hour to read (which is about what I’d expect from a book that’s designed to be a pocket-sized book).

The different chapters of the book are:

  • Fake It!: Get what you want without saying a word
  • What if I’m Shy?: Transform yourself from shy to casually confident in 60 seconds
  • Optical Illusion: Why eye contact is the ultimate flirting tool and how to use it
  • Flirty Footwork: What our legs and feet reveal about our true intentions
  • Babe Magnet: Tricks to keep the girls queuing around the block
  • Is He Interested? Discover what really lies beneath that cool exterior
  • Is She Interested?: Explore the array of sexual signals she’s using to lure you
  • Falling in Love: Make the hottest person in the room fall at your feet
  • Flirting Faux Pas: What not to do when you’re on the first few dates
  • Seduction: The flirting’s over, now deliver exactly what they want!

This book follows a simple format. There are different chapters. Each chapter lists potential body language to look for, and then it explains more about that particular body language. It may give you more hints to look for when seeing that body language item, or it may just explain why people tend to do/move that way to give you a look into human psychology. This short and simple format, though, explains things in very short terms, and it gives you what you need to look for. It does not go into detail nor anything like that. This makes it short to read, but if you have an intense interest in body language, you may feel that you’re missing out on a lot of information.

One of the things that makes “Pocket Superflirt” so nice to read is the fact that it is full-color and has the information in short, concise formats. This makes it super-simple to read. The full-color, included-picture format means that you get a reprieve from the information on a regular basis. The short chapters mean that you get the information you need without any bulky, unneeded explanations. You can learn what you need to learn quickly and simply, and this book is so short that anyone can really finish it within two hours – if not less.

So how good is the information? It’s pretty good. Some of it was actually information I knew from previous Psychology classes, so that was on par. Some of the other information seemed a bit too “advanced” – like trying to track someone’s blinking rate or a small raise of the eyebrows. I’m not sure the average flirter would be able to track something like that. On the whole, though, I think this small, hardcover book includes enough information to give the average person a slight advantage when flirting – without much effort since the book is small and simple to read.

For the claims that it can fit into your pocket, there’s actually some truth to that. I wouldn’t definitely say that it can fit into “most” people’s pockets, but depending on what the size of your pockets is, you could definitely end up fitting this little book in there. I’d say that most men’s jeans (because of bigger pockets) have a better chance. As for whether you will need this out on a date, that’s another thing. I’d say that it’s definitely useful information to have on a date, but it’s really not much of a “reference” book for a date. By the time you’re wanting to look into this book to try and decode your potential date’s body language, you might ruin the moment by taking the time to go away, check into the book, and then come back. So I’d much-more-highly recommend reading and knowing the book before you go to the bars instead of hoping to reference it while at the bars.

Overall, if you want some basic ways to read body language, the “Pocket Superflirt” book has a good introduction. I feel like some of their points might be over-reaching into body language and may be things that the average person can’t average, but overall, most of the tips are things I also learned in my Psychology classes, and they are definitely things you can look for in a conversation to judge someone’s interest. Plus, the design and format makes this little book a pleasure to read. Thanks to Naughty Coupon Codes for providing this flirting help book for my Pocket Superflirt book review.
