Designed as an introduction to butt plugs or an easy-stretching system, the Pink B.O.B. Anal Plug Kit with Loops includes three plugs in incrementally increased sizing. Each plug is made from silicone and comes equipped with an attached loop at the base of the plug. The smallest plug has a length of 3.5″ while the largest has a length of 6.25″. The smallest plug has a diameter of 1″ while the largest is up at 1.75″. Full-size specifications are listed on the Pink B.O.B. website for each plug.
Arriving in simple, basic packaging, these three plugs are just resting in a simple, molded plastic tray. Each plug has its own spot to sit in. The box doesn’t have instructions or photos on it – just the words “Anal Training Kit” across the front. It’s a relatively flimsy cardboard box, but with the plastic tray in it, it holds up relatively well, and as long as you don’t pile heavy things on top of it, it should be able to be used for storage. Plus, it’s nice and square-shaped for easy wrapping purposes if you’re giving this as a gift.
As you can tell from the photos, the Silicone Anal Plug Kit with Loops is a set of three plugs with a unique loop at the base of each plug. That’s about the gist of what needs to be said about these. They don’t have any particular texture to them, and they have a tapered tip to allow for gradual and easier insertions. Once you reach the thickest part of the plug, though, the plug tends to just “slide” its way into your body without much resistance – leaving only the ring on the exterior.
Each one of the plugs is made entirely of silicone. With the heft of the largest, it doesn’t even feel like they’ve used any fillers inside of the plugs. The insertable plug portion doesn’t have much give or plushness to the material – expect it to feel exactly like the size it claims to be. The neck (attached to the ring) of the plug does have some flexibility to it. It’ll definitely move and bend and squish around. Expect to need to push the plug in from the base of the plug – instead of the base of the loop.
How well does it work for training? Well, pretty darned well. It’s not a “be all, end all” best set ever – mostly because the plugs are a little too far apart in size and length to truly graduate slowly – but it does what it’s supposed to do, and it does it with high-quality products. A lot of the cheaper anal trainer kits on the market are made from rubber or jelly. Instead, the Pink B.O.B. Anal Plug Kit with Loops offers a body-safe plug option at a good price.
Now, as for the anal training, this kit can work. The smallest plug is about 1″ in diameter at the widest point – which is small enough for most beginners to take without too much of a problem. The next plug has a diameter of 1.4″ – which doesn’t sound like a whole lot of a large change, but partnered with the added length (another 0.75″ in insertable length), it looks noticeably larger. This is where most beginners will want to take their time and use patience. Try to remember to take things slowly as you graduate between the plugs. In addition to the difference in width, there’s a noticeable difference in length – which will make it take a little longer to get used to the bigger sizes. As long as you’re patient, though, you shouldn’t have any problem using this plugs to properly “train” yourself to anal sensation. Sure, more plugs would make the kit better (in addition to less variation between plugs), but this set should work fine with patience.
It’s worth remembering that this plug has a relatively wide ringed exterior that may work well for some body shapes and less-well for others. If you have a lot of squish in your butt, sitting down with this plug in may be just fine. However, if you tend to have a smaller butt without as much padding, especially when using the largest plug, this ring will poke up at you from any seat you’re sitting on. It’s a relatively wide ring that can poke out beyond the confines of the butt when in a seated position for those with smaller butts. This makes it uncomfortable and unusable for long periods of regular sitting – such as at a restaurant or table. It works okay if you can throw up your feet or change your sitting position (couch, bed, etc.), but if you’re planning on wearing this plug out to dinner at a restaurant, the loop at the base is going to make that hard and uncomfortable for smaller-butt individuals.
As these plugs are entirely silicone and have no texture, they’re pretty simple to clean. Just use warm water and anti-bacterial soap after each use, and consider giving them a clean before each use as well. As the plugs are made from silicone, remember to choose water-based lubricant for slickening the plugs before use. The silicone itself is a pretty nice, smooth silicone that doesn’t tend to stick to things. However, fuzz and hair does seem to find itself attracted to the material – though it rinses off easily with a quick rinse under the faucet before use. Keeping the plugs in the original packaging or in a plastic baggie seems to reduce the fuzz and hair.
Overall, the Silicone Anal Plug Kit is a body-safe and affordable way to try acclimating your body for anal pleasure. The plugs are pretty self-explanatory for use, and with patience and a lot of lubricant, this set should be able to take most beginners from “first anal experience” to “anal sex with a partner” without too much of a problem. While the loops on the base do make removal easier, they also limit the type of use that the plugs can be used for – especially for skinnier people. As long as you’re not planning on using this plugs for regular seated events, you should be fine, and you’ll likely love your kit. Thanks to Pink B.O.B. for providing this anal training kit for my Silicone Anal Plug Kit with Loops review.
