The Pecker Shooters Ice Tray for Jello Shots is made from silicone and sold by TabuToys. Featuring four little slots for jello shots (or ice cubes if you wanted!), each little shot is about three inches long and about an inch and a half wide. The entire tray is about five inches wide and eleven inches long with a depth of about 3/4 inches.
The packaging for the Bachelorette Gelatin Pecker Shooters is pretty basic. It’s just a plastic bag with a piece of cardboard stapled on the top. The packaging really doesn’t do much for storage, so just like other kitchen items, it’d probably be best just to keep this in a drawer or something.
The tray doesn’t have any scent to it, and while I’m not sure it’s 100% silicone (it seems a bit too flexible for that, but I could be wrong), it does seem food-safe and has no odd scent or taste to it.
I was surprised to find that the tray is pretty flexible. It’s not so flexible that it bends in half and drops what it’s holding if you only hold one side, but it is flexible enough that the tray definitely has some serious drooping to it if you only hold it by one side. If you really want to be careful, placethe Pecker Shooters Ice Tray for Jello Shots on a plate before putting it in the fridge – it will help support the tray. However, the flexibility is a good thing – I mean, how did you plan on getting out extremely fragile jello if the tray wasn’t flexible enough to allow you to push it out? The nice thing about the flexibility is that it allows for you to easily push out the jello shapes after you’ve made them.
The Pecker Shooters Ice Tray for Jello Shots doesn’t just work for jello shots. If you want to use it for ice cubes, it also will work for that. You do have to keep in mind the ice will be heavier than jello and make the tray even less stable on its own, so keep that in mind. Along with that, keep in mind that your ice cubes will be pretty “big” since these molds are pretty large in size. They will probably fit into most average glasses, but don’t expect to fit more than one or two of these large-mold penis ice cubes into your glass.
The biggest downside is really not the product’s fault. The biggest downside is the fact that you can only make 4 at once. This means you really have to make four, let them fully cool, place them on another sheet and keep them refridgerated while you make anoter 4. This becomes a very, very long process that’s not very reasonable for any average party. For a one-time bachelorette party, it’s do-able, but for any regular party, it does become very difficult very quickly if you want more than four shots. If you plan on just making four penis shots and then making the rest in cups, though, you could make a pretty cool centerpiece out of four penis jello shots for the rest of the display.
For cleaning, I do believe you’ll need to handwash this item. As the packaging does not particularly say that it is dishwasher safe, I would edge on the side of caution and choose to wash it by hand instead of ruining it by accidentally melting it.
Overall, the tray does exactly what it advertises to do – it easily makes penis-molded food items like jello shots or ice cubes. Versus a penis ice cube tray, the slots on this tray are much larger which makes them much more suitable for jello shots. Keep in mind that you must be very careful when the shapes you make out of this penis jello shots tray, and you should be able to have quite a bit of fun with this one!
