The Nobessence Linger is a wooden sex toy created by NobEssence. The Linger is about seven inches long with a diameter of one inch at the widest part (which is the part nearest the finger). The unique thing about the Linger is the fact that it has a hole near the base that allows you to slide your finger into the sex toy itself for extra leverage. The packaging for the NobEssence Linger is quite beautiful. It’s a slide-open box that includes padding inside the box to keep your wooden dildo from any harm while it’s in the packaging. There are small bands that will hold the Linger in the packaging as well to keep the dildos from falling out, and there is a piece of foam that will keep the Linger safe against the packaging. The packaging also comes with an instruction guide that talks about the Linger, and I do recommend keeping it for storage if you can. If you’re short on space, because the packaging is quite bigger than the toy itself, the packaging can easily be tossed.
The biggest concern most people have about wooden sex toys is whether they’ll get splinters from them. The answer I always give is NO! Despite the popular opinion that all wood will give splinters, wooden sex toys are specially coated with a finish that keeps them from splintering at all. In fact, wooden sex toys usually have a very silky-smooth surface like a glass or stainless steel sex toy but without the weight of those types of sex toys. With some brands, the coating is enough to make it silky smooth, but you can still easily see and barely feel the original texture of the wood itself. The NobEssence Linger dildo is one of them; there’s no way you’ll get a splinter from this dildo, but in certain places, you can still feel the original texture of the wood itself, and it feels fantastic.
NobEssence, in particular, uses Lubrosity coating on their dildos. Lubrosity coatings are odorless, can easily be soaked in water, and are safe to be in contact with the body for hours at a time. The finish, as you can see in the video, pretty much makes the dildos very slick to the touch, and you can easily see the shine and glimmer on the surface of the sex toy. The Lubrosity coatings don’t peel off, and I’ve found no way to pick them off either. It’s a pretty cool eco-friendly way to enjoy sex toys!
The NobEssence Linger dildo, as you can tell, is designed with a finger hole towards the base of the dildo. This finger hole only will fit one finger, so don’t expect to be able to fit two or three. With the one finger in it, it’s relatively stable, but if you want, it’s also pretty simple to hold the dildo with your extra fingers while you have the single finger inserted. The NobEssence Linger dildo, with the bead-like design, seems like it was designed for anal use. For anal use, it does do a pretty good job. For those that like that extending and closing sensation that anal beads provide, the NobEssence Linger provides that same sensation but without the extreme intensity that many anal beads require because of the huge difference between each bead and the connector. It actually is a much more subtle increase and decrease, and along with that, the first bead is actually much smaller than the last bead, so for anal use, it tends to get larger as you go which makes insertion much easier and much more pleasurable. Because of the fact that you can grip it with your finger at the base, it also does make it pretty easy to use and hold for solo anal use.
It can be used vaginally as well. The smaller size of the dildo means that it probably won’t be as filling to most people when used vaginally, but it can be used vaginally. There are still the little beads, but it’s a bit harder to really notice them when used vaginally. The shape is still pleasurable, and while the Linger does have a g-spot curve, when combined with the finger for length, the Linger, depending on where your g-spot is, may actually go “too deep” to hit the g-spot. It doesn’t hit mine, but if you have a deeper or further-in g-spot, it’s possible that the Linger may hit your g-spot.
For cleaning, you’ll want to use warm water and antibacterial soap. This dildo is extremely easy to clean, and it can be soaked in water as well though we tend not to do that. It’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and because of the safe material type, it can be stored virtually anywhere. You’ll probably want to keep it away from sharp objects to avoid harming the finish of the dildo though.
Overall, the NobEssence Linger is a fantastic wooden dildo that helps extend your finger past what you normally could reach. It provides different ways to hold the dildo, and the beads feel very pleasurable when used. The dildo is high-quality and looks beautiful while still providing an orgasmic experience when used. It may be a bit too long for g-spot use, but with certain angling, it can still work.
