Nexus Titus Review

Nexus Titus
The Nexus Titus!

The 4.5 Nexus Titus Ribbed is a p-spot massager made by Nexus intended for hands-free use. Included at the base is a stainless steel ball that is made to stimulate the perineum, and the shaft of the Nexus Titus is ribbed for more stimulation. The Nexus Titus is 4.5″ long and about an inch at its widest point, and it is available in black, red, and white. It’s also compatible with the Nexus iStim electrosex kit if you are interested in electrosex.

The packaging for the Nexus Titus is a cylindrical-like package that is made from a firmer plastic and includes a plastic top and a bottom. You can easily get at the Nexus Titus by removing the plastic top, and you can easily keep a bottle of lubricant or other accessories in here if you want. The packaging is black and red, and it looks really nice and well-designed, so this will make a great gift. (Though it would be hard to wrap this awkwardly-shaped box, but I’m sure you could manage it!) The packaging on the inside of the box also serves as the instructions on how to use the Nexus Titus as well.

The 4.5 Nexus Titus is designed as a male g-spot massager, and it has an interesting design. Throughout the body of the Nexus Titus, there are ridges that run along the shaft. At the tip of the toy, at the head, the Nexus Titus has a very curved design that curves in to target the p-spot. The stainless steel ball rotates really nicely in its holder which makes it smooth when pressing up against the perineum. The handle on the opposing end rests nicely against your body without getting in the way, and as it does have an indentation on it, it can actually be grasped to jiggle the anal toy if you don’t want to wait or use pure muscle strength to use the toy. It does, however, have a bit of a seem on this end which makes it annoying to grasp for long periods of time, so I wish they could have sanded down that aspect for a more comfortable experience grasping the toy.

The Nexus Titus is also compatible with the Nexus iStim electrosex device. You can remove the stainless steel ball at the base of the Titus, and instead, you can use the Nexus iStim device with this one. As the texture of the toy is definitely intense already, adding electrosex to your Nexus Titus definitely kicks things up a notch.

To use the Nexus Titus with the hands-free method, Nexus included instructions on best usage. You first want to lubricate your toy and bum and then relax and focus on your pleasure. You’ll then want to slowly insert the Titus, and once it is fully inserted, relax for about 10-15 minutes to allow your body to accommodate the toy. After that, you then will want to tilt the pelvic area back and forth to allow the rollerball to exert gentle pressure on the perineum and allow the toy to rock against the p-spot. As you can tell, this process does take some time, and with that in mind, Nexus did also include a handle on the Titus in case you want to just use your hands for pleasure instead of using the hands-free method.

The Nexus Titus seems to work well as a prostate sex toy. I think it’s because it has more of a “curve” that some of the other prostate toys that are out there. Not only does the Nexus Titus curve near the tip and throughout the shaft, but it also further curves as the tip of the toy actually curves as well. It’s almost like a less-extreme U-shape which makes for a fantastic p-spot sex toy (at least, that’s what the submissive tells me!). He isn’t very fond of the “hands-free” method that is described in the instructions of the Nexus Titus, but he does say that you can easily use it with the included handle, and it’ll work just fine for thrusting and applying pressure to the p-spot when done that way (if you are impatient about results).

Make sure to lubricate the Nexus Titus fully before attempting to use it! The ridged texture on the shaft of the Nexus Titus is pretty intense – especially as it’s plastic which means that the ridges have absolutely no “give” to them. The texture is actually pretty pleasurable, and it’s definitely intense. You’ll want to make sure to give yourself plenty of time and external lubricant to use this one. Inserting it, especially if you’re only an occasional anal player or still relatively new to anal pleasure. The toy is intense, and you’ll want to take it slowly and make sure everything is lubricated well. If you do those two things, it’s the good kind of intense pleasure instead of what could be the “bad” kind of intense.

I do wish Nexus would have paid a bit more attention to the quality control of their toys. There are a couple obvious seams and scratched up areas of the plastic that can make the Nexus Titus uncomfortable. For example, there’s the seam previously mentioned on the grasping handle of the toy – as it sticks out and is very obvious, it can scratch your fingers if you want to jiggle your toy manually. On the opposing end, on the end with the stainless steel ball, there is a plastic cut and seam that actually is scratchy, and as this end presses right up against your perineum, it was painful. Some sanding took care of the problem, but if Nexus had made sure to take care of this problem in the first place, we wouldn’t have had to sand it. Those were the only two problematic areas though.

Cleaning the Nexus Titus is simple as it doesn’t have any vibrating parts. It can be boiled (as it’s plastic), and you can also do regular cleaning with warm water and antibacterial soap. As the instructions say, make sure you use the included ball-push to push the stainless steel rolling perineal ball out of the socket for the best cleaning and to make sure there’s no bacteria hiding anywhere. For storage, it can be stored pretty much anywhere as it doesn’t pick up any fuzz or lint, and as for lubricant, it can use any type of lubricant – just make sure to use lots of it!

Overall, the Nexus Titus provides a filling experience for hands-free and hands-full fun. If you don’t have the patience to use muscle contractions for pleasure, you don’t have to, and you can grab the base of the toy and thrust – the toy still works wonderfully when used that way. I wish Nexus would have paid more attention to some of the scratchier parts of the plastic on the Titus, but it’s possible I just received one that slipped through the quality-control cracks. Either way, if you want a prostate sex toy that has great stimulation and texture, the Nexus Titus provides very well.
