Nexus iSTIM C-Ring Review

Nexus iSTIM C-Ring
The ring sitting on my hand

The Nexus iSTIM C-Ring is an electrosex cock ring compatible with the Nexus iSTIM Electro-Stim device that is sold by FunWares. This Nexus iSTIM C-ring requires the Nexus iSTIM Electro-Stim device for the electricity effect – although I certainly suppose that you could use it just as cock ring alone. If you are interested in electrosex and trying out this C-ring with electricity, you can check out my Nexus iSTIM Electrosex Device review. This cock ring was intended to sit behind the testicles instead of just on the shaft.

The packaging will certainly keep the Nexus iSTIM C-Ring safe until it makes it to you. Like regular plastic packaging, the Nexus iSTIM C-Ring box has the sealed edges that keeps the toy from escaping. However, it also has some snaps along the top of the box that further keeps the toy from escaping, so you won’t have to worry about your cock ring falling out. This Nexus C-ring easily fits into the Nexus iSTIM Electro-Stim device case, so you don’t need to keep the packaging for storage.

The Nexus iSTIM C-Ring is not included in the original Nexus iSTIM Electro Tens Machine Kit. It does have to be purchased seperately if you are hoping to enjoy a c-ring that has some electric capabilities. As the iSTIM C-ring is enjoyable if you find that you want to enjoy electrosex with a dildo or during intercourse (or solo masturbation), this may be one of the first Nexus iSTIM accessories that you seek out.

The Nexus iSTIM C-Ring is slightly adjustable. It is certainly not the easiest thing to get on – that’s for sure! The ring is made out of a slightly-stretchy material. It’s about as stretchy as silicone is which, if you’ve played with some of the thick silicone cock rings, you know that that isn’t very stretchy. Because of this fact (and the fact that this cock ring is intended to go behind the testicles), I would certainly recommend that you have experience putting on barely-stretchy cock rings before you delve into this one. Sure, you could definitely put it on just the shaft, but it is intended to go at the very base of the penis for the best results. As you’re supposed to connect the wires before putting the cock ring on, having the wires in the way of a (what may be) frustrating process of putting on this cock ring as a beginner may not help things.

Showing how squishy the ring is

Using the Nexus iSTIM C-Ring seems like it might be difficult, but it’s actually pretty simple. You are supposed to connect the electricity connector to the iSTIM C-rings connector area (a little prong sticks out) and then put the cock ring on. You put the cock ring on by slipping it first onto a testicle, slipping another testicle through, and then finally, the penis itself. This ring is really tight, and it does require you to be soft to be able to get into this cock ring. Once you’ve finished the placement, you just switch on the toy and you’ll have a fun electrosex experience!

The Nexus iSTIM C-Ring certainly produces a different sensation than using the self-adhesive electrode pads. It’s really difficult to explain, but the boyfriend does say that it’s really different. He mentions that the cock ring does seem a little bit too tight for him, and we didn’t play it with it too long for that reason. I would have liked the material to have been a bit more stretchy for more comfort, but if you enjoy a tight, firm-fitting cock ring on your penis, you would certainly enjoy this one.

The packaging

As long as you don’t go hog-wild, the electricity attachment seems to stay attached to the toy really well. It can be pulled off, so do try to minimize movement. This probably would not work during rough sex or active sex. If you were spooning or something like that with a gentle rocking, you could probably get away with it during intercourse. As most of the Nexus toys were intended for Prostate purposes (and meant to be used fully through the internal spasms of muscles), the electricity attachments don’t seem to have been designed for rough sex. It’s just something to keep in mind.

Overall, if you find that you want to try the idea of an electrosex cock ring, this toy works. If you like the sensation of the self-adhesive electrodes on your penis that is described in the Nexus iSTIM instruction manual, you’ll probably enjoy the sensation of this electrostimulation cock ring. It’s definitely a unique sensation! Thanks to FunWares for providing this electrosex cock ring for my Nexus iSTIM C-Ring review.
