One year ago, I went as “Mother of Dildos” for multiple Halloween events. Of course, me being me, I didn’t finish editing the photos or even begin writing the post for Kinky World until after Halloween.
“No biggie,” I thought. “I’ve had Kinky World for 11 years now. I’ll just post the photos next year.”
Never in a million years did I assume 2020 would be the year that it was. And there’s a whole lot of “year” packed into 2020 so far. That’s for damn sure.
That being said, that’s my full disclosure that this costume didn’t make its premiere in the socially-distancing-year of 2020. This pretty ensemble is from 2019 – but maybe it can lift your spirits in the year of 2020.
So, welcome to the “Mother of Dildos” – obviously modeled after the fantasy queen from the popular television series. When I took it to a beer tasting festival, I just left out the dildos part – and I had a fully-functional costume that was appropriate for the general public.
But when I went to kink conventions and private events with friends, the dildos came along in many-an-awesome form. The see-through purse worked fantastically for showcasing my (ridiculously awesome!) number of miniature dildos. My dildo sword (Dickscaliber as a kinkster named it in passing once in the halls) was a great outfit decoration – and fantastic as a tool during scenes as well. Depending on the event, I was likely to be wearing a strap-on dildo that “tented” the dress very suggestively. My dildo shirt pins usually ended up somewhere on the bust-area of the dress as well (which the wig constantly got stuck in, but okay. That’s the price we pay.)
And, obviously, for the pictures, I had to break out the big-ass dildos for show. (We can pretend these are all of the dildos I own, but we all know that’s not true. I just grabbed what was in the “favorites” drawer.)
So, “Mother of Dildos” is probably my favorite Halloween sex toy costume ever, and it’s super awesome. With that in mind, shortly AFTER Halloween last year, I decided I wanted to get some “officially awesome” pictures of the get-up, and that’s how I ended up donning a sex toy Halloween costume in November to take some awesome pictures. Of course, by then, the Halloween dildo costume time of year was over, so I just planned to use them this year. So, here we are today!
(Can we talk about how weird it is to have been running a website so long [11 years!] that you just say “I’ll use it next year” with full knowledge that you’ll need content 12 months from now anyway – and this will be here for it?)
