The Liberator Bon Bon is a piece of sex furniture made by Liberator and sold by Adam & Eve. With a half-circle shape, the Bon Bon is available in multiple colors and made from a firm-core foam that holds its shape well. Fifteen inches long, twelve and a half inches wide, and about eight inches tall, the Liberator Bon Bon isn’t too large, and it’s only about the size of a medium-sized shipping box. Water-resistant and built with a microfiber cover, the Liberator BonBon is designed to be a “dildo/vibrator holder” for hands-free pleasure.
The Liberator Bon Bon doesn’t come in any particular packaging. It comes with a identifying tag attached to it, and like all Liberator products, it does come with a small book that advertises their other Liberator products and gives you a good start on some positions to try out. With no packaging, there really isn’t much to worry about on this; just make sure not to open the (completely discreet) shipping box from Adam & Eve while company is around.
The Liberator Bon Bon is an absolute staple in our home. A staple. Really. If our home burned down, and we only could replace some of our (currently thousands) of toys, the Liberator Bon Bon would be one of the first items we’d replace. In fact, next to the Liberator Wedge and Liberator Throw, it’d be only some of the sex furniture items we’d probably replace at all. We’d bought a couple of our favorite dildos, our harnesses again, a couple of our favorite vibes, a lot of our bondage stuff, and DEFINITELY this Liberator Bon Bon. We love the Bon Bon so, so much.
The Liberator BonBon is designed to hold your vibrator or dildo for hands-free pleasure. There’s a deep crevice built into the foam of the Liberator BonBon, and your vibrator dildo can be pushed into this hole easily. The hole is deep enough to fit most average-sized toys, and it stretches as need be. It is a semi-small (in width) hole to be able to keep the toy from slipping out, but it has a longer length than it does width. The inner hole is lined by the water-resistant liner to protect your foam while the microfiber cover includes a slit to allow you to easily access the hole while the cover is on.
One of the things that makes the Liberator BonBon so amazing is how well this sex shape holds it shape. The foam inside of the Liberator BonBon is strong! My skinny partner easily has no problem with it while my plus-size body has no issue with it either! The material does have give to it, so it does “squish” when full body weight is applied to it, but unlike other shapes, it holds firm enough that the dildo can still reach pretty deeply even with full weight on the shape. Plus, as the shape isn’t too wide, it’s still easy to get your legs around it. I have a wider waist (and thus, wider hips) and I have no problem – even with my larger thighs. This is fantastically shaped. Really. Very fantastically.
I recommend using a dildo or vibrator that includes a flared base. This allows the base to “hook” into the microfiber cover, and it stays sturdy much more easily. Regular vibrators without a base will work (and tend to work best if the vibrator has a curved-like base), but with hard thrusting or rough thrusting, I’ve had a couple slip out on occasion. The best, like I said, really is flared-base dildos. They stay in wonderfully compared to anything without a flared base.
A second plus to using the Liberator BonBon? Easy clean up! Instead of using a blanket or setting your toy on the floor, any extra lubrication or messes goes right into the microfiber cover which is very absorbant. After you’re done, you can just unzip the cover and throw it into the laundry pile for your next wash. That makes it very, very easy to clean up after yourself.
Plus, if you don’t feel like using it for holding a dildo or vibrator, you can easily use it for sex positioning with a partner. It’s not the most versatile of the positioning shapes from Liberator, but it does allow for some sex positioning. The shape can be placed underneath your body during doggy style to allow for some body support, or the shape can be used to support the hips during missionary (not as comfortable as other shapes). It isn’t the most versatile shape for positioning aside from girl-on-top sex positioning, but the Liberator BonBon would work fantastically for acting out double-penetration fantasies without involving a third person (and instead using a dildo with play).
Does it work? Fantastically. Most dildos that include a suction cup base tend to suck at suction – and the suction all-but-leaves if you get rough with it or accidentally go at an angle. The Liberator BonBon brings the dildo up to a level that makes it more comfortable to ride along with holding the dildo really firm for riding. You can lean backwards and place your palms on the floor – dildo doesn’t move. Forwards? Same thing. It really holds your toy in place absolutely wonderfully.
One of the things we also love is that the Liberator Bon Bon also is so easy to clean. In fact, it’s machine washable! There are multiple covers to the Liberator BonBon. The top cover (the colored one) is made from microfiber and includes a zipper that runs the bottom of the shape. Unzip it, and it just gets thrown in the wash. (We’ve been machine-washing our old one, multiple times per week, for over a year with no issues). Under that cover, there’s a water-resistant cover that SHOULD NOT be removed unless you have a reason. This cover protects the foam itself. The outer cover is a bit of a pain to put on after washing (as it shrinks slightly with drying), but it does go on pretty easily. Definitely an easy-care item – much easier to care for than the dildo/vibrator you use with it!
Overall, the Liberator BonBon is a MUST HAVE for anyone that likes riding dildos in a girl/boy-on-top position. The dildo reaches more deeply than other positions, and you don’t have to do any weird contortions to get the toy comfortably thrusting into you. Plus, as the Liberator BonBon is truly hands free (the dildo stays in and your thighs and weight hold the shape in place), you can easily use a vibrator or play with your partner while riding a toy. Seriously. A MUST HAVE. I can not rave about the Liberator BonBon enough. Most Liberator shapes are really “take it or leave it”, but the Liberator BonBon is something that never-ever goes in storage and always is in high use. LOVE, LOVE it!
