LELO Tor II Review

LELO Tor II
The LELO Tor II vibrator

The Tor 2 is the latest LELO re-release of the previous Tor cock ring. The Tor 2 is a silicone cock ring that features easy-to-control vibration and is also rechargeable. It is supposed to be waterproof, and it boasts the lifespan of 10,000 disposable couple’s rings. The LELO couples ring includes six different patterns and speeds as well.

The packaging for the LELO Tor 2 resembles the rest of the LELO packaging. It comes in a box that clearly and nicely shows the Tor 2 and the features of the Tor 2. Inside the packaging, there is a plain black box that says “LELO” on the top, and you can lift off that lid to see the Tor 2 in its nicely-lined box. The packaging also includes a sample of LELO lubricant, the instruction manual, the warranty information, the charger, and a small black satin bag for storing the toy if you don’t want to keep the box.

The Tor 2 is a re-release and improvement over the previous LELO Tor cock ring. From what it looks like on the LELO website, it also appears that the LELO Bo cock ring was discontinued, and the only cock ring they offer now is the LELO Tor 2. The LELO Tor II includes twice the vibration strength of the original cock ring, easy-to-press buttons, one piece (instead of two pieces like the previous cock rings), and six different speeds/vibrations.

Another view of the LELO Tor II

The biggest change, that I notice, straight out of the box, is the change in the design. The old LELO Tor and LELO Bo cock rings came in two pieces – one was the piece that included the motor while the other was the stretchy ring, and they slid together to function. With the LELO Tor II, this is all one piece, and they do not slide apart. This makes it much easier to keep track of the full ring, and you can charge the full ring without needing to have two pieces to keep track of.

As previously stated, the LELO Tor 2 is rechargeable. The LELO Tor 2 charges via a charging port on the side of the cock ring. When charging, the light will blink to let you know that the ring is charging. It takes about 2 hours to charge which will give you about 2 hours of use. It can stand-by with the vibrations charged for about 90 days. It’s very easy to charge, and most people will have no problem with charging it.

The charging port and part of the controls

The LELO Tor 2 is very easy to control, and I’m glad to see that LELO improved the cock ring’s control functions over previous versions. There are easy-to-press buttons on both sides of the ring – one side includes a plus-sign to increase the vibrations while the opposide side includes a negative sign to decrease the vibrations as well as the charging port right on the ring.

The vibrations on the LELO Tor 2 are not the strongest, but they do seem like an improvement from the previous LELO Tor couples ring. The vibrations can be heard in the same room, but they can’t be heard outside of a closed door. The vibrations are pretty surface-type vibrations, but they feel alright. The vibrations seem to be felt best throughout the shaft of the penis, but they also can be felt externally when lined up correctly clitorally.

The LELO Tor II does seem to line up relatively well during penetration, but like all couples’ rings, it isn’t going to be the most reliable thing for clitoral stimulation during penetration for all sex positions. If you have a position that has constant contact, it definitely adds more vibration and more pleasure, but don’t expect it to be orgasmic. The vibrations are not quite strong enough to make this LELO cock ring orgasmic from vibrations alone unless you are pretty sensitive. It seems like the vibrations should be stronger than they are, but I think part of the material does muffle the vibrations and keep them from being too strong.

Showing how tight this ring is. I could barely fit four fingers in, and just to take this picture, the tips of my fingers were starting to lose circulation.

The only downside that I still have about the LELO Tor 2 is their material choice for the ring. The ring still is pretty darned tight, so you have to enjoy a tight cock ring fit for this one to be pleasurable. For those guys that like wearing a cock ring just for the added vibrations, this will probably be too tight. If you enjoy wearing a cock ring for the constricting feeling, though, it will definitely provide that. As an example of size, it was squeezing just three of my fingers uncomfortably tightly when I tried to place the ring around them.

For cleaning, you can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap. The instruction guide recommends never leaving your LELO Tor II out in direct sunlight or in extreme heat. For storage, it comes with a satin pouch that will keep the couples’ ring away from lint and fuzzies. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricants, and silicone-based lubricants may harm the surface of the couples’ ring.

Overall, the LELO Tor II is a definite improvement over the previous version. It’s much easier to control, has stronger vibrations, is much easier to recharge, and works well. However, it still really tight around the penis, and the vibrations could still be bumped up a bit stronger to really be the best they could be. When it comes down to it, though, if you like a tight feeling from your cock ring and want something that is rechargeable, it’s a pretty good cock ring. Thanks to LELO for sending the LELO Tor II out to me for my LELO Tor 2 review.
