The LELO SenseMotion Insignia Oden is the new wireless cock ring made by LELO. The cock ring is made purely of silicone and the shiny pieces are made of plastic. The remote is made of the same material. The cock ring is about three inches long, and it is rechargeable. The remote uses two AAA batteries to function, but it also vibrates as well. Both pieces communicate wireless, so there are no cords to get in the way during play.

Please go there and check out that information for further information on the use of the toy. This review will deal with the specific information about the LELO Oden.
The LELO Oden was intended as a couple’s ring. The instruction manual gives you full instructions on how to use it, but basically, the little “tail” of the Oden uncurls to be able to wrap around a penis. It’ll only wrap around about half of a penis (depending on girth), and then the vibrating part is intended to go either up towards the abdomen or downwards towards the perineum. The instruction manual also recommends using water-based lubricant with it as it could pull pubic hair without it. We didn’t have any issues using it without the lubricant though.
Due to the curly tail at the end, this toy is not very comfortable when inserted, so I wouldn’t attempt it that way. The tail will end up “poking” you when you insert it, and you probably won’t get much fun out of it. Instead, use it externally, on a dildo, or as a cock ring like it seems to have been designed for.
Out of all of the LELO Insignia SenseMotion toys, this one gave us the least amount of problems when it came to the SenseMotion controls. I think it’s probably because it’s used externally. The LELO Tiani has given me some issues, and the LELO Lyla has given me just a couple, but we haven’t had any issues with this one. The LELO Oden seems to receive commands from the remote with no issues, and it responds almost instantly. The remote is easy to hold, and as this is a cock ring, you could easily hold the remote against another partner for that partner to experience vibrations while the cock ring-wearer gets to use the LELO Oden itself.
As a cock ring, it works okay. I can not say that it’s amazing just because of the design of this couple’s ring. I’m a bit split on it. LELO always has beautiful designs, and in this case, the design is certainly unique, but it also doesn’t seem to work the best as a cock ring. Because the toy is really one-side heavy (with the vibrations), the toy really tends to move around during use. Added to the fact that the “tail” of the couples ring actually has to stretch itself out (and then wants to return itself to its “unstretched” position during use, if that makes sense), and you have a cock ring that does tend to slip off or move around during use. This does not work well when a cock ring, in the first place, rarely has enough clitoral contact for the partner’s clitoral orgasm.
For us, it seems to work better as an easy-to-hold finger vibrator. The tail doesn’t vibrate nearly as much as actually having to hold onto the body of the LELO Lyla (the bullet-type vibrator of this line). This way, your fingers don’t go numb or feel uncomfortable. The vibrations are enough for orgasm, but it’s something you do have to work at. The silicone loop, though, is easy to grip in your fingers if you want to grip it, and while it’s flexible, you can still apply pressure with the toy.
The vibrations are okay. As a couple’s ring rarely has enough points of contact to actually be earth-shattering or orgasm-inducing, the vibration strength works okay for the LELO Oden. When it does end up hitting the right spot, though, the vibrations are strong enough to be enjoyable though they may not be strong enough for orgasm. The vibrations are very quiet, though, and you won’t be disturbed by the sound of the vibrations during use.
Overall, the LELO Oden is certainly not the best cock ring out there. The controls are innovative and make it easy to use the Oden without stopping, having to reach your hand between the two of you and fumble for the switch, but at the same time, the design seems to make it a bit hard to work with. The toy doesn’t stay on the penis as well as it should nor does it stay in place as well as I’d like. Where it can work, though, is as a finger vibrator or an easy-to-hold vibrator to press against the clitoris during intercourse.
