LELO Insignia SenseMotion Vibrators Comparison Review

Have you been curious to see some of the new LELO Insignia Sensemotion reviews? Well, here I am to bring them to you! I received all three of the toys for my LELO Sensemotion reviews, and to avoid saying the same thing over and over (as, functionality-wise, they are virtually the same), I will be explaining the functionality, how the LELO Sensemotion works, and the basics of each one of the sex toys in this post. For ease of access, this post will be linked in all three of the individual reviews of the toys.

The new LELO Insignia Sensemotion toys are a revolutionary change in LELO vibrators. There are three different toys (LELO Oden, LELO Lyla, and LELO Tiani), and each one includes a vibrator and a vibrating remote! Each one is wireless (which is definitely a new thing for LELO vibrators!), and each one comes in different color choices.

There are three different toys for the LELO Insignia Sensemotion line. There’s the Oden which is a flexible couple’s ring with a unique design, the Lyla which is a bullet/egg vibrator, and the Tiani which is a couple’s vibrator intended for insertion and external stimulation at the same time. Each one of the toys is made from the soft, silky silicone that LELO vibrators are usually made from, and each toy is rechargeable. However, the remotes do take two AAA batteries each, but the toys themselves are rechargeable.

Each one of these new LELO vibrators comes with a bunch of extras. Each one comes in a discreet storage box that is plain black and very sturdy. The toy can easily be placed in the box for long-term, discreet storage. There’s a place inside the box for the charger and accessories, and a foam cut-out inside for the remote, toy, and the Insignia Brooch that comes with all of the Insignia toys. Along with that, each toy comes with a charger, the initial two AAA batteries for the remote, a remote “key”, a satin storage bag, warranty information, quality information, the instruction manual, and a sample of the LELO water-based lubricant.

The remote is controlled by two AAA batteries on each of the LELO Insignia Sensemotion vibrators. The back of the remote is flush with the surface of the remote. For that reason, LELO included a little divet. You can insert the Insignia key (a plastic key) into the hole and twist! Once you do that, the battery compartment will open up which will allow you to easily insert the two batteries. Once you’re done, you can put the lid back on. The lid is harder to put back on than it was to take off, so it does take a bit of fiddling with.

As I stated before, the main part of the toy is rechargeable. The remote just takes the batteries, but you can recharge the vibrating toy itself. Each one has slight differences in how to find the charging port, but for each one, you do have to unscrew a portion of the toy which will “reveal” the charging port. From there, you can easily plug it into an outlet for charging. The LED light on the toy blinks while charging, and it stays steady when the charging is complete. It will take about two hours to fully charge, and when it is getting low on batteries, the toy’s indicator light will blink rapidly while you’re using it.

The most interesting thing about this vibrator is the SenseMotion technology. Because this SenseMotion technology is really different from any average vibrator, I HIGHLY recommend you read the instruction manual before trying it the first time! Believe me, we sat the first time and thought the vibrator was possessed! We couldn’t get it to work right. The controls make sense after you know what’s going on, but you really should read the instruction manual to first figure out what’s going on.

Basically, the remote control controls all functions of the vibrator. You can not use the vibrator without the remote control, so make sure to keep track of the remote control. The remote functions under 8 different functions to control the vibrator. It can also vibrate on its own. Yes, the remote vibrates! You can turn off the vibration function very easily, though, if you don’t like the vibrations. However, if you are someone that enjoys vibrations in two different places at once, this works fantastically because your remote will also vibrate.

The first mode is the mode that this toy is famous for. It’s the neatest application of SenseMotion. The toy vibrates to how the remote is tilted. If completely horizontal, the vibrator vibrates at 10% power. As the remote is slowly tilted towards a vertical position, the power goes up slowly to 100% vibration strength. It’s really surprising, but the vibrator and the remote work really well together with this one. The vibrator responds really well and very quickly when the remote is shifted.

The second mode is another SenseMotion mode. The vibrator vibrates more depending on how much movement the remote is under. For example, a frantic penis stroking movement makes it vibrate strongly while a slow rocking makes it vibrate softly. This mode doesn’t have much of a use aside from seeing how much strength you can put into shaking it or possibly touching a penis with the vibrations of the remote while the other partner can wear the vibrator itself. The remote, again, is very responsive, and you can get a wide variety of power from doing this, but shaking the remote does get tiring quickly.

The third mode is a typical mode. In this mode, you can use the + and – buttons to control the strength of the vibrations. The buttons are on the remote, and both the vibrator and the remote will vibrate to the settings that you pick. Just like any other average LELO Insignia toy, you can easily adjust this by using the buttons on the surface of the remote.

The fourth through eighth mode are all patterned modes. The remote and the vibrator both will vibrate to the pattern that the remote is set to, and there are five different vibration pattern modes. In order to get back to modes 1-3, you do have to cycle through the five patterned modes. That can be a pain, but once you recognize the patterns from using the toy, it isn’t as much of a big deal.

You’d be surprised at how easy these two things are to connect as well. They speak wireless to teach other – much like a Bluetooth headset, video game controllers and systems, and other wireless devices. We had no issues with them not being able to find each other. First you press the “+” on the remote, and then it will light up to let you know that it’s searching. You then hold down the connectivity button on the vibrator, and it will find the remote. That’s it! It takes less than ten seconds, and it’s very easy to do.

So how about the vibrations? All of the vibrators of the LELO SenseMotion line share the same loudness and vibration strength. The remote controller vibrates more loudly than the toy itself does, so if you want to be discreet, you may want to turn off the remote’s vibration functions. The remote vibrates at almost twice the loudness of the toy itself. The remote could be easily heard in the same room, but it probably would not be heard outside of a closed door. For the toy, you can not heard it in the same room in the lower settings, and it’s harder to hear in the same room on the higher settings. It becomes even more hard to hear if it’s an insertable toy like the Tiani or the Lyla. This means that the toys are actually pretty darned quiet which is especially useful if you were hoping to use it discreetly in public.

The vibrations themselves are on the stronger side of moderate. They tend to be a bit buzzy, but they also are stronger than most average toys. Unless you require powerhouse vibrations, the vibrations of the LELO SenseMotion toys should be enough to at least tease most people. It really depends on how much power you need from your vibrator as to whether you will be able to orgasm from it. The vibrations are stronger than most of your average wirelessly remote-controlled vibrators, though.

The LELO Insignia Sensemotion vibrators do have an amazing range and ability. When making the video, the boyfriend ran all the way into the bedroom and out the hall of our apartment, and the toys still responded to the remote that he was using on them. It’s impressive. We haven’t had any issues with the toys not responding like some bullet vibrators do either; they all seem to respond exactly how they’re supposed to and when you want them too The Lyla sometimes gets a slight delay (if it’s inserted), but it’s really something that you don’t notice much, and it still puts it leagues above some of the other bullet vibrators we’ve tried.

In case you’re curious (I know you are!), these vibrators CAN be controlled by the same remote control. If you are in a D/s relationship with multiple partners or just like multiple vibrators, you can use one remote to control multiple vibrators. We used one remote to control all three of the toys at the same time, and it worked out fine. However, the remotes/toys do get confused if you want to use two different toys with two different remotes. They tend to get a bit confused when you try that one, so sticking with one remote for multiple toys seems to work best.
