Leaf Touch Vibrator Review

Leaf Touch Vibrator
The Leaf Touch Vibrator

UPDATE JULY 2021: The Leaf Touch is no longer is in production. This sex toy review remains as a reference for anyone who’s curious about the toy. While you’re here, why not check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, and femdom podcast

The Leaf Touch vibrator is a clitoral vibrator made by Swan Vibes and sold by this sex toy store. This sex toy is about five inches long, and it has a diameter of about an inch at the widest point. It’s very long and slender. The Leaf Touch is made from silicone, and it is waterproof. This vibrator is also rechargeable, and it features the PowerBullet vibration technology.

The packaging for the Leaf Touch is really beautiful. Swan Vibes did a fantastic job of making their packaging match the environmentally friendly feel that they were going for with these vibrators. The packaging is a sturdy cardboard box that appears to be made of recycled cardboard. It includes a magnet on the side that keeps the box closed. When you open the box, you’ll get the instruction manual, the charger, the vibrator, and the storage bag for the vibrator. You can use the box for packaging and storage (as its cute), but it is much larger than the toy itself, so you’ll probably just want to keep the storage bag for storage. The box is very sturdy and looks cute enough for gift-giving though.

The Leaf vibrator series is a line of eco-friendly sex toys made by Swan Vibes. The whole line of silicone vibrators is made by the manufacturing plant that makes the Jopen Vanity vibes, so you’ll notice a same-ness in the controls as well as the silicone type. This works for me as the Jopen Vanity toys have worked well for me in the past.

The Leaf Touch vibrator’s design is very innovative. This vibrator is designed as a clitoral vibrator, but unlike most clitoral vibrators, this silicone sex toy is long and skinny to allow it to fit places that other clitoral vibrators could not fit. The silicone skin does have a slight drag to it, but it’s a nice feeling to it. The Leaf Touch is not plushy in feeling – the silicone seems to overlay a hard plastic body for the vibrator which is really good as it makes the vibrations more intense. On the top of the vibrator, there is the button to control the vibrator as well as the charging port. The Leaf Touch does have a slight curve to it to allow it to conform to the body’s curves.

Like the rest of the Leaf vibrator line of sex toys, the Leaf Bloom is rechargeable. The charging port is on the upper-side of the “leaf”, and it, like the other Leaf vibrators, charges via the charging socket that comes with the vibrator. You do have to push it in pretty firmly to get it to go in at first, but it does go in easily; just be aware that it does have some resistance and you have to “push through” it. (This resistance is caused by the waterproof aspect of it that keeps water out during use) There is a red light that shows up on the vibrator while its charging, and the light will shut off once the vibrator is fully charged. The vibrator also has a travel lock to allow you to lock the vibrator for traveling.

This vibrator uses the “Press and Hold” technology to control the vibrations. This means that it has a single button its shaft to control the vibrations. When you push down on this button, the vibrations get stronger, and if you want them to get stronger still, you just hold down this button, and the vibration intensity will rise. If you want to turn off the vibrator, you just press down once on the button. It’s a very intuitive design control, and once you use it a couple times, it feels like a perfect extension of the toy. As the button is flush with the silicone, it’s hard to push it accidentally during use, but it still is in a great area for controlling this sex toy during use.

For use, the Leaf Touch vibrator seems like it really was designed for clitoral use, and for that, it does a pretty decent job. Unlike some other clitoral vibrators, if you tend to enjoy grasping your vibrator instead of holding it against you, the Leaf Touch is long enough that you can easily grasp it and use the opposing end and position it where you want. If you prefer, though, the curved design of the vibrator also means that you can just use your palm to hold the sex toy up against you. It gives you some different options for using this vibrator.

A side view of the Leaf Touch Vibrator

The biggest difference in the design of the Leaf Touch versus other clitoral vibrators is the skinniness of the Leaf Touch. Most other clitoral vibrators tend to be larger and flatter and provide diffuse vibrations throughout the vulvar area by sitting on top of the area. The Leaf Touch seems to have been designed to be thin enough to easily fit between the lips (if that’s what you’d like) which gives you more direct clitoral stimulation than other clitoral toys. This is definitely a different type of design, and the thinness of the vibrator itself more resembles a traditional vibrator design than the usual clitoral vibrator design. Unlike a traditional, straight vibrator though, the curved design means that it hugs your body more closely and allows you to hold the vibrator up against you as well.

Despite this flexibility of usage, I definitely still wish that the Leaf Touch has a different type of vibration. It has a higher-pitch, buzzy vibration to it that seems to be surface-only and doesn’t really seem to be too deep of a vibration. It does do a good job of staying strong and “there” when pressure it applied (in fact, it might actually get stronger!), but the buzziness of the vibrations means that it isn’t nearly as pleasurable as it could be. I’d say that the vibrations are about moderate in terms of strength which, again, is a downside. I think the Leaf Touch could have really had the amazing design and features which would have allowed it to stand out very, very well if it had deeper or rumbly-er vibrations. On the up-side, though, the vibrations of the Leaf Touch are very quiet, and it can be hard to hear them in the same room over music or television.

Cleaning this Leaf vibrator is pretty simple. As one of those luxury adult toys, it is waterproof which means you don’t have to worry about getting lubricants in smaller areas. You can use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean off this silicone vibrator, and with the small shape, it fits nicely into a condom also. Because of the silicone material, you can only use water-based lubricant on this sex toy. The silicone of the Leaf Bloom doesn’t pick up much lint or fuzzies, but you may want to place it into its provided storage pouch for storage.

Overall, I’m definitely impressed by the Leaf Touch with its design and features. The fact that it’s long and slender makes for better clitoral stimulation, and the controls for this vibrator feel extremely natural and perfect. It’s rechargeable and waterproof, and it has the features you’d definitely expect from a luxury vibrator. However, I just wish the vibrations were less buzzy and more rumbly. If surface vibrations tend to pleasure you, though, the Leaf Touch definitely has everything you need in one package. Thanks to TabuToys for providing one of their vibrators for my Leaf Touch review.
