The LeReve Slimline G is a Pipedream Products vibrator sold by Our Naughty Secrets. It’s powered by two C batteries, and it’s made from a smooth plastic with no visible seams. It’s waterproof, and the LeReve Silmline G includes a curve at the tip for g-spot stimulation. This g-spot vibrator has a diameter of slightly over an inch which, as it’s made of plastic, may feel pretty big for some.
The packaging is a really pretty black cardboard box that displays the toy on the front and back of the packaging along with the features. Inside the box, the toy comes in a plastic tray that slides out. The packaging was actually very annoying. For some odd reason, it has this horrible scent to it. It’s not the toy – it’s the box itself. This scent gave me a headache, and as it was on the toy too, the toy had the same scent. It was extremely, extremely confusing as to why the packaging would smell this way, but it was headache-inducing, and it requires tossing the packaging and letting the vibrator air out for awhile.
The Le Reve Slimline G takes two C batteries. As C batteries usually mean that a vibrator is very powerful, I must say that I was very excited to try out the Slimline G. The batteries are inserted through the base of the vibrator as you unscrew the battery cap. There is a piece of paper inside of the battery compartment, but it isn’t meant to be removed as it helps strengthen the vibrations and quiet them down. The batteries are easy to put in and remove.
The vibrations from the Le Reve Slimline G are honestly not as much as I had been expecting from the vibrator. I think this may be because of where the vibrations are centered. They seem to originate about an inch away from the g-spot tip of the toy, and for that reason, the vibrations don’t seem to travel very well through the g-spot tip. If you turn the vibrator around and use the back, un-curved side, you seem to get stronger vibrations. For those who are wanting to use the g-spot tip for g-spot stimulation with the strong vibrations, it doesn’t seem to work quite as intended. If you just wanted some okay vibrations with your g-spot tip, though, it could work like you wanted.
The vibrations are on the higher end of moderate for strength. They are more buzzy than rumbly, but they don’t feel nearly as surface buzzy as some other vibrators do. It almost feels like the plastic of the vibrator was just a bit too thick to let all of the vibrations shine through like they could have – if that makes any sense. The vibrations are strongest at the point right underneath the g-spot tip, and the vibrations are easily controlled by the turn-dial at the base of the vibrator. Depending on how you hold it, the vibrations can not be heard outside of a closed door. If you grip the battery compartment too tightly, it seems to make the batteries rattle a bit which makes it louder, but if you grip it more off of the base, you don’t get nearly the rattle, and it’s pretty hard to hear outside of a closed door. The sound is pretty comparable to other C-battery vibrators.
Personally, for me, the g-spot tip didn’t hti my g-spot. I have a deep g-spot, though, that most traditional toys don’t usually hit, though, so don’t take that as a failure of the sex toy. If standard vibrators usually work okay for you, you may find that the Le Reve Slimline G will hit your g-spot just fine as well. This vibrator does have a bit of girth to it as well, so you may find that it feels filling than other toys – especially as it’s made of hard plastic. I personally find the hard plastic uncomfortable for insertion, so I stick to using this vibrator as an external vibrator, but if you tend to like the ungiving, rigid feeling of plastic, this vibrator does provide that.
Cleaning the Le Reve Slimline G vibrator is pretty simple as this vibrator is waterproof. You can use warm water and anti-bacterial soap to clean it, or if you’d like, as it’s so smooth from the plastic, you can use a sex toy cleaning wipe to clean it up. If you want lubricant, it’s compatible with all types of lubricant, and as it’s made of hard plastic, it doesn’t gather any dust or lint, so you can leave it anywhere for storage.
Overall, I like the LeReve Slimline G, but it doesn’t seem to produced as much power as other C-battery-powered vibrators do, and the packaging really does have an odd scent to it. It is, however, still a good vibrator, and it’s easy to control and easy to use. Does it hit my g-spot? No. May it hit your g-spot? Possibly. If you think this is a good one for you, it is a good vibrator, and it seems to pack more power than an average vibrator – just not as much as I’d expect from a C-battery vibrator.
