UPDATE MAY 2021: The Jopen Vanity VR6.5 is no longer in production. This vibrator review remains as a reference for this vibrator for anyone else who is interested in the product.
The Jopen Vanity Vr 6.5 is one of the newest additions to the Jopen Vanity line. It’s a rabbit vibrator featuring a clitoral arm and a vibrating, g-spot shaft. It’s made of 100% silicone, and it’s waterproof with an instant on/off button. It features travel lock, and both the clitoral arm vibrations and g-spot shaft vibrations can be controlled individually. The toy is about six and a half inches in total length with a diameter of an inch and a half on the insertable g-spot portion. The entire sex toy is covered with a silky smooth silicone that glides against the skin (with the help of a bit of lubricant).
The packaging is pretty basic. The Jopen Vr6.5 comes inside a cardboard, white box. The box itself is basic, but it protects the toy. The box comes with instructions as well as information about the vibrator. It also comes with the charging cable as well as a large Jopen storage bag to store the vibrator when not in use – just like a lot of BDSM restraints. The box is a bit flimsy, though, and you’ll probably want to recycle it after you take the toy out.
The Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 has a very unique design compared to most rabbit vibrators. It has a clitoral arm that, by the design, continually wants to “touch” the shaft because of the wavy design. The g-spot shaft is larger than the clitoral arm, but it does have a pretty obvious curve intended to hit the g-spot when inserted. The insertable g-spot shaft vibrates rather than rotates, and the buttons for use are located at the base of the shaft. The charging port to charge the vibrator is located on the back of the vibrator.
This silicone rabbit vibrator is rechargeable. This means that it doesn’t use batteries. Instead, there is a charging port on the backside of the Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 to allow the vibrator to charge. This charging port reseals itself when the charger isn’t in it, so it doesn’t allow the waterproof seal to be broken which is neat. It does mean you have to force the cord in to charge it, though, but it’s what you’re supposed to do. The toy itself has a red light that lights up so you know when the vibrator is charging though.
The Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 is powered by Power Bullet technology motors as well as it features the press-and-hold control structure. Both the clitoral portion and the insertable g-spot portion have separate control structures. In order to control the vibrator, you just press down the button and hold it until you hit the strength you’d like. Once you hit that strength, you just use it. If you decide you want it stronger, you just press and hold the vibrator’s button again. If you want to turn it off, one quick push of the button turns off the vibrator completely.
The vibrations are on the moderate side. The shaft is much more deep and rumbly than the clitoral arm, but both are on the relative side of being buzzy. Depending on your vibrator preferences and how you use this vibrator, it may be enough to get you to orgasm, and it may also not be enough. For me, it just wasn’t quite enough. However, even with both motors running full-speed, the vibrator is still pretty quiet. It can be heard, barely, in the same room while inserted, and it can’t be heard outside of a closed door, so if you have to be discreet, this can work well for you.
I must say that I really, really, really like the design! It’s almost like the design of this rabbit vibrator was made completely for me! I usually hate rabbit vibrators with deep-reaching or thick shafts, so I couldn’t have that. I hate clitoral arms that are too flexible and don’t really apply pressure, so I couldn’t have that. I hate clitoral arms that are too short so they don’t actually reach where they’re supposed to, so I could have that. But the Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 doesn’t have any of that!
The clitoral arm is easily long enough to hit where I want to – even when rocking the toy to take advantage of the g-spot shaft. The clitoral arm always wants to go back to laying right up against the g-spot shaft, so it provides really nice clitoral pressure during use. The g-spot shaft has the perfect curve that seems to hit my g-spot amazingly – especially when angled the right away. The entire g-spot shaft is large enough to feel pleasurable without being so large that it’s painful, uncomfortable, or takes time to insert.
Sadly, the only downside about this vibrator is that the g-spot shaft and clitoral shaft are relatively flexible. This means that, while it gives somewhat firm g-spot pressure, the toy will also bend near the base instead of continuing to give firm pressure. If the g-spot shaft would have been more firm, I would have completely fallen in love with the design. The clitoral shaft, while it applies more pressure than most g-spot rabbit vibrators, still does tend to bend a bit during use which means it doesn’t provide ALL of the pressure that I’d like – those it doesn’t do better than most.
On the other downside, the vibrations seem a bit too buzzy for me. If the vibrations were a bit more deep and rumbly versus their current buzziness along with a slight more rigidity in the toy, I think I could honestly call this my favorite rabbit vibrator – by far.
To clean this vibrator, you’ll want to use warm water and anti-bacterial soap. As this rabbit vibrator also is waterproof, you can use the soap and water without worrying too much about it. It’s only compatible with water-based lubricant, and as there is a clitoral portion, you really can’t cover it with a condom for easy clean-up. The silicone doesn’t really pick up hair, but it does pick up small pieces of white material, so it’s best to keep this rabbit vibrator in the provides Jopen storage bag that the rabbit vibrator comes with.
Overall, while I wish there were a couple of improvements made to the toy that would make it amazing, I still think it’s one of my favorite rabbit vibrators out of the Jopen Vanity series. I was a bit worried it would be too clenching, but now that I’ve used it, I almost wish it clenched more! The vibrations are easy to control (though not too powerful), the g-spot shaft hits exactly where it’s supposed to, and the clitoral arm applies more pressure than most clitoral arms on rabbit vibrators. If you’re okay with a bit of flexibility in your rabbit vibrator, then this could definitely be the rabbit vibrator for you! Thanks to Jopen for providing this silicone rabbit vibrator for my Jopen Vanity Vr6.5 review.
