The Jopen Vanity Vr8 is a double-ended g-spot vibrator created by Jopen and sold by TabuToys. The Jopen Vr8 is made of silicone, is rechargeable, has two seperate motors and controls, features travel lock for traveling, has back-lit LED lights on the controls, and features a curved g-spot design. This vibrator is eight inches long with two seperate diameters on each opposite side.
The Jopen Vanity Vr8 comes in a cardboard box. The box does seem to be a bit cheap for the price of the vibrator, so I wouldn’t recommend keeping the vibrator in the box long-term. Instead, take everything out of the box (including the charger, storage bag, and information that the toy comes with), and just throw away the box. The box does do a good job of keeping the toy safe throughout shipping, though, so your toy will get to you without any issues as long as it stays comfortable in the box.
The Jopen Vanity Vr8 is an interestingly designed toy. As you can tell from the pictures, the toy is designed with the two separate ends in mind. The smaller end is, as you could guess, smaller in size, and the larger end is larger in size (about a one inch diameter on the small side versus a two inch diameter on the larger side) For the most part, I tend to see the smaller end as the specially-designed “g-spot end” while the opposite end seems to have been created if you want a larger and fuller sensation during insertion. The toy does have a curve to it, and the curve seems much more pronounced on the smaller end. The larger end also does have a curve as well.
The silicone is a soft type of silicone as well. It’s not as silky or smooth as LELO silicone, but it also doesn’t have as much drag as you’d expect from most silicone dildos. It does require external lubrication to insert comfortably, but it doesn’t require a ton of lubrication and being extremely warmed up.
This vibrator is rechargeable. There is a charging port in the center of the inside-curve of the toy. To charge the Jopen Vr8, you just plug the charger into the charging port. The toy’s backlit red LED light will flash while the toy is charging, and after it is finished charging, it will sit and wait for you to unplug it. Once charged, you can use the toy until it needs to be charged again. Charging doesn’t take too long (only a couple hours), and it lasts awhile on one charge.
I like the control system for the Jopen Vanity Vr8 and other Vanity toys as well. It makes it very easy to use, and it’s pretty intuitive. The shaft of the toy has two buttons on it. Each button corresponds to one side of the toy. If you press and hold the button, the vibrations get stronger. To turn it off, you just press the button once. If you want to adjust the vibrations, you just press and continue to hold the button and the vibrations will get stronger. You can’t make the vibrations get weaker with the controls, but it’s easy to turn the vibrator off and turn it back on as well. Again, there are two buttons, and each button controls the motor on the side of the vibrator that it is closest to.
Each end of the vibrator has different vibrations. The larger end seems to have stronger, rumblier vibrations while the smaller end seems to have buzzier vibrations. Neither side is very rumbly, and for the most part, both sides have surface vibrations – with the smaller side having more surface-type vibrations. The smaller end has vibrations that are on the lower end of moderate, and the larger side has vibrations that are on the higher end of moderate. If you respond well to surface-type vibrations, you should be able to get orgasm and pleasure from the Jopen Vanity #8. On the highest setting, the larger end can certainly be heard in the same room while the smaller end is harder to hear. Neither should be able to be heard through a closed door.
For use, the Jopen Vanity Vr8 works pretty well. I tend to enjoy the smaller end for insertion and the larger end for external vibrations. This is because I like the rumbly vibrations of the larger end much more than I do the buzzier vibrations of the smaller end. When inserted, the toy can easily be rocked or thrusted for pleasure against the g-spot, and the vibrations do transfer well throughout the head of the toy. If you do choose to insert the larger end, you might come up with a bit of a problem as the buttons are more curved towards the larger end, so you might want to choose your vibration settings before inserting it.
The toy does a good job of not bending too much during use. It does have a slight bend, but if you enjoy firm g-spot pressure through your toys, you should be fine with this one; because the head of the toy is also curved, you won’t have to worry about it catching on anything uncomfortable either. It actually is a pretty pleasurable experience. I much prefer using the larger end for external stimulation, and while the smaller end works, I much prefer the larger end.
Cleaning the Jopen Vanity Vr8 is extremely simple. As it is a silicone toy, you can just use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean the vibrator. If you want to keep it sterilized, it will easily fit into a condom for use with multiple partners. As it is silicone, you can only use water-based lubricant on it, and for storage, I highly recommend keeping it in the storage bag that it comes with. The silicone of the toy does tend to pick up lint relatively easily.
Overall, I like the Vanity Vibrator #8, but I do wish the smaller end had more rumbly vibrations. The toy is comfortable to insert, and it has a slight amount of give while still being definitely firm enough for good g-spot pressure. Because it has the two differently-sized ends, you can have a smaller experience or a larger experience – it all depends on which one you feel like using at the time. Either way, the Jopen Vanity Vibrator #8 is a quality toy that definitely has some thought put into the design and is worth looking into. Thanks to TabuToys for sending me this luxury vibrator for my Vanity Vibrator by Jopen #8 review!
