The Jessica Rabbit is a classic take on the ever-popular Rabbit type of vibrator sold by Twisted Miss Sex Toys. It comes in a pink latex material that covers the entire shaft of the toy while the bottle of the toy (with the controls) is a nice plastic. The shaft of the toy does a slight rotation when turned on while you can see the large bullet in the clitoral portion of the toy that’s going to vibrate when the toy is turned on. The shaft is insertable up to about five inches (when you consider you can’t insert the pieces with the clitoral portion on it). The body of the shaft includes some beads to provide an interesting sensation as well as the top of the shaft has a pronounced head made to make it look like a penis.
The packaging for this one is pretty simple. It shows a picture of the Jessica Rabbit girl on the front next to the sex toy. It’ s a plain piece of plastic with the shape cut out for the toy to fit into. The toy does not have any sort of awkward scent upon taking this out of the box which leads me to believe that it is phthalates-free. Just in case, I did use a condom on it just to be sure.
Unlike the product description on the seller’s page, this sex toy actually uses AAA batteries instead of AA batteries. It uses four of them. There’s a small tray that slides out from the battery compartment to allow you to load in your batteries for use. The tray slides in really easily to the rabbit without any sort of difficulty.
The rabbit has dedicated controls to control the speed and function of this sex toy resting on the base of the rabbit. Both the shaft and the clitoral piece have a dedicated on/off switch. The shaft has the ability to change from right to left while the clitoral piece has a high/low option. The shaft does small little circular motions either to the left or right depending on which way you choose to let the toy go. The movement really is pretty minimal and while it’s a bit obvious when outside of a body, it’s completely unnoticable inside of one. The beads on the shaft do move around to provide an interesting sensation, but they don’t move quite as well as soon as the toy has been inserted.
The problem with this Jessica Rabbit is that it’s just lacking in power. The shaft and beads look like they’d move nicely when they’re outside of the body, but once you put them up against the vaginal muscles, it basically comes to a stand-still. The shaft of the toy really doesn’t move much once inserted, and the beads move very, very minimally and seem to feel more awkward once inserted. Contrary to the product description, the shaft portion does not have a speed adjustment – it only runs on that relatively low setting. You can adjust the circular motion from to-the-left to to-the-right, but it honestly doesn’t seem to make much of a difference when it can’t be felt anyway.
However, the nice saving grace with this rabbit is the clitoral attachment. The bullet that’s incased in the latex material is relatively strong. However, the bullet piece ends before the rabbit ears begin which means that the part that touches the clitoris is going to be just the vibrating the latex material instead of the hard bullet itself. It’s actually relatively strong. Some of the rabbit ears don’t seem to vibrate like they should, but with this Jessica Rabbit, the ears actually do vibrate really strongly through the vibrations provided in the toy. It provides a nice, lovely tickling sensation.
When taking this in the water, I dunked it underneath really quickly just to test it out, and when I opened the battery compartment, none of the water had gotten actively near the battery compartment, but it had been sitting out around the waterproof seal which leads me to think that, with more time spent in the water, it may not prove to be as waterproof as it says it is. I made sure the lid was completely closed, and the rubber seal was in place before testing this too.
To clean this, warm water and antibacterial soap should get all of the ickies off of it. I have no idea if this is porous or not, but I’d assume it is, so if you plan on sharing it, I’d recommend using a condom before use. This should be compatible with both water-based and silicone-based lubricants. I’m choosing to keep mine in the original packaging, but it doesn’t seem to collect lint at all, so you would be free to keep this wherever you think it would work best.
So what do I think of it? I think that, if you enjoy feeling penetration during your masturbation but aren’t looking for the extra stimulation of the rotating shaft, this will work well. If you have a limited budget and want to try out your first rabbit, this will work well also. However, if you have the budget or if you are looking for something that provides a nice, strong rotating shaft, this one just won’t fit the bill for you.
