“I Love Female Orgasm” Book Review

“I Love Female Orgasm” is a book written by Dorian Solot and Marshall Miller and sold by Babeland. The book is about a square six inches in size, and aside from the cover page, there isn’t too many inner illustrations that would make this book unsuitable for public reading. The book has 286 pages. There are eleven different chapters about various parts of female orgasm. A neat aspect is that the authors donate 10% of their book royalties to the Breast Cancer Action fund.

I must admit that I’m very, very impressed by this book. The book manages to give a lot of great books about female orgasms in a humorous, fun, and non-judgemental book. The book is very open to all types of gender expression and sexuality, and I love the fact that the book makes sure to focus less on the idea of orgasm as a “goal”, and instead, focus on the idea of enjoying the journey that can lead up to orgasm.

That’s not to say that the book doesn’t have a lot of good information on female orgasms. It does – I promise! There’s a ton of good chapters. They are The Lowdown on the Big O, Masturbation and Female Orgasm, So You Want to Have an Orgasm?, Oral Sex and Female Orgasm, Intercourse & Female Orgasm, The G-Spot and Female Ejaculation, Vibrators, Toys, and Piercings, Men and Female Orgasm, Coming with Pride, Advice for the Anally-Curious, Safer Sex and Birth Control. There’s a wide variety of information, but all of it does pertain and revolve around the idea of female orgasm.

One of the neater aspects is that the book focuses, entirely on female orgasm. There isn’t information about male orgasm or anything like that, so unlike other major publications, it doesn’t seem like “female orgasm” is supposed to be obtained by learning about how to pleasure others. The book does, however, include smaller sections through the book about how a partner could pleasure a female including tips on manual and oral sex. The book is very open to different gendered pairings as well as sexual preferences ( I love how they emphasize that not all women enjoy the sensation of penetration as most books seem to take it for granted ).

Another great aspect of this book is the fact that it’s perfect for both those who have never experienced an orgasm, those who want to teach their partners to make them orgasm, and those who just want stronger orgasms. There’s information about how to have your first orgasm, how to hit your g-spot, how to prevent diseases and pregnancy, vibrators, how piercings effect orgasms, and advice on pursuing anal stuff. There’s a huge variance in the “experience level” of the material in this book.

Overall, “I Love Female Orgasm” is a very understanding and educational book about female orgasms. It’s seriously one of the best books out there, and I love how it focuses entirely around female orgasms. If you are curious about female orgasms, I would sincerely have a difficult time recommending anything aside from this book. There’s great information, the authors are understanding, and all of their information is accurate and also makes room for the idea of individual variance with female orgasms too. I purchased my book at Babeland for my I Love Female Orgasm Book Review.
