“I Dare You” Sealed seductions is a set of cute little cards that give you suggestions of things to do with your partner. It can be bought at FunWares Sex Toys. There are thirty little cards in this box, and the box works well for storage. The box itself is about three inches tall, four inches long, and three inches wide with each little card being about three inches long and an inch tall. It’s definitely a small item that can be kept out of “regular” view for the majority of the day. All of the cards are written by Susie Bright who is a popular sex educator and sex writer. (She has written a couple of books and does sex-education presentations.)
This little set comes in this red and black box, but it comes wrapped in plastic wrap. The plastic wrap keeps the entire set together and keeps the bow from untieing. Along with that, the “I Dare You” portion is actually just a piece of paper resting against the box, so it keeps the piece of paper next to the box. The box itself has the red/black design that makes it look really classy. It only seals with the little bow on the side, so you must retie the bow to keep the suggestion cards from falling out. The inside of the box is really nice and really plush. It is basically velvet that has a hole carved out for the cards to sit. This packaging is gorgeous, and it basically is perfect packaging to give as a gift.
The little cards have amazing presentation as well. Each one of the little cards is actually just a little business card-like card that is placed inside a brown, decorated envelope. The little envelopes are sealed with a round, cute piece of tape on the back that makes them easy to open. The little cards are one-sided and look very sensual. Each one has a larger “title” with the “what to do” in smaller text.
Since I obviously don’t want to open too many of these a time, I can’t critique each one of the cards that are in the set. (I also don’t want to ruin the surprise for you.) However, I can say that all of these cards are either a “Tell Me…” or “I Dare You…”. (XXX Truth or dare, anyone?) The “Tell Me…” cards basically ask your partner to tell you some aspect of their sexual life including fantasies or other desires. The “I Dare You…” cards are basically sensual aspects that should be done right then and there. They are things like “Lay down and let me trace a word on you” or other suggestions of that assortment. Nothing (as far as I’ve opened) in this box will be demanding the two of you to try out different sex positions. Everything is a lot more romantic and sensual than hardcore pornographic.
All of the cards are meant to be done “in the moment” as well. None of these are really meant to be “wait until later” as far as I can tell. The cards all intend for you to open one right before you want to do something sexy – maybe just for inspiration or maybe because the two of you want something romantic to bring the two of you together. Either way, Susie Bright, while not making up anything too unique, did a good job of bringing some romantic suggestions to these cards. Some are going to be things that you’ve read before in women’s magazines or Cosmo, but for the most part, they’re still good suggestions. The 30 different suggestions would take you awhile to get through, and I honestly can’t say that I see the cards having much replayability. They seem to be more of a one-time thing – especially the “Truth” cards since you only really need to reveal a secret once.
I’m really fond of the packaging for this one. That’s really what draws me in about it. The packaging is sexy, romantic, and it’s something I’d want to keep next to my bed. Along with this, the suggestions inside are packaged really nicely. If the two of you want to have more romantic sex (or just feel closer), these cards will give you an easy way to do it. Thanks to FunWares for providing this setting the mood item for my “I Dare You” review.
