The Hustler Mini Mistress Massager is an 8″ vibrating wand massager with 5 speeds. It’s made with plastic and rubber, and it’s phthalate-free. The rubber material has a slight scent if you stick your nose up to it, but it is no scent you will notice with regular use. The Mini Mistress Massager is powered by USB or a regular plug-in, and the head of the vibrator is about 1.5 inches in diameter.
The packaging is pretty basic, but it looks nice that way. The Hustler Mini Mistress Massager comes in a plastic box. Inside the box (which is plain black and talks about the features of the Mini Mistress Massager), there is a plastic storage tray that slides out to give you the cords as well as the Mini Mistress Massager itself. You can use the packaging for storage if you’d wand as the rubber head of the massager does tend to pick up a bit of the lint and fur.
I will admit that I’m slightly annoyed by the packaging. The packaging gives “Pleasure Workouts” and gives the calories burned by each “workout” such as tickling, licking, screaming, orgasms, using vibrators, and things like that. It then says that using the Mini Mistress Massager burns more calories than all of those other things – kinda like women can’t enjoy pleasure unless they’re also doing a body workout. It was slightly annoying. On the upside, though, according to the box, you burn 56 calories for a vaginal orgasm and 52 calories for a clitoral orgasm.
The largely unique thing about the Hustler Mini Mistress Massager is that it runs by USB – if you want. You also can plug in the USB port into the wall adapter, and then it will be run by regular electricity as well. I actually enjoy the way they did this. That way, if you tend to masturbate in front of your computer, you’re good to go since you can use USB without fussing about a plug-in. If you want to switch it up and masturbate in bed, you can use the adapter and your massager will work in bed too. Do be forewarned that, like other wand massagers, it does need to be plugged into a power source in order to function though – this is not a rechargeable wand massager.
Between the two methods, I didn’t notice much of a change of power. It could be in my mind, but it felt like the USB-powered method was slightly weaker. It’s only something I noticed when going directly between the two, so it’s really not something you’re going to notice with regular usage. As the toy pulls the same power from both sources, I think it should be the exact same power level, but it does feel slightly different.
The vibrations are INTENSE! There’s no lying about that. They aren’t like the Hitachi though. They’re different. With the Hitachi, when you let the toy just vibrate, you can easily see the head of the toy vibrating. With the Hustler Mini Mistress Massager, you can’t see the head of the toy shake/vibrate during vibration. I think it’s because the Hustler Mini Mistress Massager vibrates at a higher frequency which leads to smaller movement during vibration which leads to a buzzier feeling than with the Hitachi. Does it still feel intense? Oh, yes, it definitely does.
In fact, I’d probably say that it might be a bit too intense for many. The vibrations aren’t rumbly, but they almost feel like they are so buzzy that they FEEL rumbly and deep if that makes any sense. They actually can feel a bit itchy on the surface of my skin, and it definitely requires that you’ve had some prior stimulation before pulling this wand massager out – even if you plan to use the wand massager at lower levels. Despite having 5 vibration levels, the sex toy goes from Off to “Holy crap!” – even on the lowest level, so you do want to have some stimulation before you begin.
On that note, you do also want to make sure you aren’t worried about others hearing your vibrator. The Hustler Mini Mistress Massager is loud, and it can easily be heard in the same room and outside of a closed door as well. It’s not quite as loud as the Hitachi, but it’s up in the same noise realm, so if you have to worry about others hearing, this is probably not the best toy for you.
For me, this vibrator isn’t really the best. I tend to enjoy my vibrators deep and rumbly, and while the Mini Mistress Massager definitely can go deep, it tends to vibrate at a higher frequency than what my body seems to enjoy. For those that like the higher frequencies, though, it’ll be a much better keeper for you. And on the bright side, when you apply pressure with the wand massager, the vibrations do not increase nor do they seem to “move around” in the head of the wand massager which is always a plus.
The toy definitely works well if you tend to like higher-frequency vibrations, but I usually like my vibrations to be on the end of lower and rumbly. If you are okay with the higher frequency, though, the Hustler Mini Massager can definitely work for you as it packs a punch and can be powered by both USB and regular electricity which gives you a huge variety of where you can use it.
