The Heart 2Heart Leather Wrist Cuffs are a set of leather wrist cuffs made by PHS International. The cuffs feature a large O-ring for bondage purposes, and they are two inches in width. They’re made from leather and include metal pieces, and they feature a regular buckle (not a locking one).
The packaging for these leather cuffs is pretty simplistic. The cuffs come in plastic, blister-pack packaging. It’s the simple kind to open, so once you have your cuffs, it’s very easy to get them out of the packaging. As the packaging is a bit larger than the cuffs themselves, though, you may want to find a different way to store these leather cuffs if you want to save on some storage space. The packaging does look pretty, though, and it will be suitable for giving these cuffs as a gift.
The cuffs are designed extremely simply. They are made from leather, and the leather is slightly softened. It’s not baby-soft like some leather can be (especially in floggers), but it’s soft enogh to be nice against the skin. There are little, cute hearts that go around the cuff. These hearts are not just cut-outs, but instead, these are actually little red pieces of leather that were cut into heart shapes then placed into the heart-shaped holes cut into the black leather. I think that, if you used these leather cuffs over a long, long period of time, the red hearts might end up falling out, but it looks like they should stay nice-looking for a good period of time.
As well as this, if you’re someone who loves a set, the Heart Leather Wrist Cuffs are part of a larger set that you can purchase. All of the items are leather and feature the cute little hearts that are shown on these cuffs. There’s a leather flogger, a leather blindfold, and there’s leather ankle restraints as well. So if you are someone that loves your kink gear to match, you can easily get the other items in the set to have it all match.
The Hearts Leather Wrist Cuffs are surprisingly comfortable as well. The inside of the cuffs feel different from the outside of the cuffs. The inner material on these wrist cuffs feels more like a suede-like material – just less plushy. This material, depending on your preferences, can feel slightly scratchy against the skin, so you should keep that in mind. For the most part, though, even if you’re sweaty, the material feels just fine.
No matter your wrist size, the Hearts Leather Wrist Cuffs should fit. The cuffs easily fit both my partner’s ankles and my partner’s wrists, but he’s a skinny guy. If you’re a larger person, though, like myself, I still had no issues with the cuffs on my wrists. If you still are concerned, though, there are Hearts Leather Ankle Cuffs, and those are designed to be larger in length but otherwise exactly the same, so you could purchase those and use them as wrist cuffs if you’re really worried.
These cuffs seem to be high-quality. I’m actually really impressed. The red stitching that is decorating the entire wrist restraints set is very bright and vibrant, so any change from the pattern or any mess-ups would show up easily. But there aren’t any of those. The outer leather isn’t nearly as softened and gentle as I’d like, but it’s still very smooth and easy to the touch. I’d like to see it softened a bit more, but it works just fine in its current state. The entire cuffs are put together really well, and the rivets look like they’re going to hold everything really well. The O-ring and metal pieces aren’t tarnished at all, and they aren’t bent awkwardly either.
It’s worth noting that these wrist restraints can make some noise. The O-ring is inside a triangle-like piece of metal, and when this O-ring accidentally hits the triangle metal, it can make clinking noises. It sounds like restraints, so if you have to be very careful about the sounds, using these cuffs could potentially not be a good choice for discretion.
If you want to clean these, make sure to remember that these are made from leather. This isn’t a particularly bad thing, but it does mean that you can’t use any harsh soaps or cleansers on them. Instead, you can use a slightly-damp washcloth and wipe down the leather of the cuffs. For obvious reasons, though, you should avoid getting the cuffs near bodily fluids or other messes unless it can not be otherwise helped.
Overall, these leather wrist restraints look really cute and do a fantastic job of restraining. There’s a full set you can get into if you want, and that makes me happy (I love matching sets). The restraints are comfortable, they seem like they’re going to hold up against good amounts of tugging and play – even more than the testing we’ve already put them through.
