UPDATE APRIL 2020: Happy Valley is no longer a company that’s still producing toys. As far as I can tell, they may have become Fuze Dildos – which is a company that’s still making things. This Happy Valley Delight Review will remain as a reference for those who are looking for information about it.
The Happy Valley Delight is a silicone dildo with a harness-compatible base that is sold by this sex toys store. It comes in both a blue swirled and a copper-swirled color, and it is about six and a half inches long with a diameter of slightly over an inch. It has a g-spot/p-spot curve, and it includes a bullet hole at the base to add vibrations to the stimulation. It also includes a bullet and batteries for using with the dildo.
The Happy Valley Delight dildo comes in a basic package from Happy Valley. A Canadian company, Happy Valley makes silicone dildos. This package is just a plastic bag with a cardboard topper stapled to it to keep the bag shut. This bag doesn’t really work well as a long-term storage method for the dildo, but it will keep your dildo safe from lint and dust for storage and shipping.
We have started looking more towards Happy Valley dildos for our sex toys. Other silicone toys like Tantus and Vixen Creations toys are more soft and more flexible. For some types of play (like vaginal use or just plain insertion use), this works out fine for us. However, when it comes to anal use or wanting to have something really firm and strong for g-spot or p-spot stroking, the Happy Valley silicone does a good job. Happy Valley silicone has very little plushiness to it, and it has very little flexibility and bend to it as well. It has enough flex to be understandably silicone (and not something harder like plastic), but it doesn’t have the same flex that Tantus and Vixen Creations silicone dildos do. The Happy Valley Delight includes small ridges along the underside of the curve as well as a harness-compatible base.
The Happy Valley Delight’s blue color is absolutely gorgeous. It’s one of my favorite things about the dildo. The mixed, swirled blue color looks absolutely stunning – especially if you let it soak in water in a white bathroom. The pictures on the EF page really don’t do it any justice; the colors are swirled beautifully, and it really does look quite beautiful. I hope the on-site video as well as the pictures I’ve taken help display exactly how beautiful the design of the silicone is. It’s like one of the Happy Valley’s swirled silver silicone designs – but in blue.
We have really fallen in love with the Happy Valley Delight dildo. We use it for anal use, and it works fantastically for that. It is firm enough to easily insert and slide in, and it stays in really nicely once you do have it in. The base is easy to grasp for self-thrusting, and the dildo retains its curve pretty nicely while thrusting. The boyfriend says that it’s very pleasurable, and while he’s not sure it’s hitting the p-spot, it certainly does feel very, very good. He also notes that you really can’t feel the ridges along the underside of the shaft during use despite the ridges looking pretty pronounced. They just tend to feel like the rest of the dildo.
As you probably noticed, the Happy Valley Delight also includes a bullet hole at the base in order to insert a bullet for vibrating pleasure. This bullet does come with the toy, and it comes with batteries as well. The bullet hole is a pretty deep one, so the bullet will slide all the way in if you want. For this reason, make sure to put in lubricant into the hole before putting the bullet in to make sure you can grab it back out easily. I honestly wish that this bullet included a retrieval cord to make it easier to grab out. I love the fact that the bullet itself can be flush with the base and not sticking out awkwardly, but I’d love to be able to easily retrieve the bullet afterwards, so a cord attached to the bullet would have been wonderful.
The Happy Valley Delight dildo is also harness-compatible. It isn’t one of the longer dildos out there, though, so it isn’t the best in a harness for those who want deeper positions or those who may have extra weight (due to requiring more length to navigate with). The dildo does stand up really “tall” in a harness, though, and it doesn’t droop. If you want a shorter dildo that is slimmer in diameter for your harness play, this one may be perfect for you.
In comparison to the Happy Valley Slim Jim (which is a similar dildo to this one), the sizes are about the same. You can see it in my video review on the EdenFantasys site, but the Happy Valley Slim Jim does have a phallic-like head while the Delight does not have any phallic-like appearance. The biggest difference is the fact that the Happy Valley Delight has a bullet hole at the base that allows you to add vibrations while the Slim Jim does not have that bullet hole at the base.
Overall, the Happy Valley Delight is one of our go-to dildos for anal sex now. Just like the Happy Valley Slim Jim, it quickly became a favorite when brought into the bedroom, and it’s going to stay that way. The fact that it can vibrate (but doesn’t have to) and can be so easily added into a harness is a definite plus as well. If you want a dildo that has a slim girth and is made from firmer silicone (and feels very pleasurable!), this silicone sex toy can have you covered!
