“Gush: The Official Guide to the G-Spot and Female Ejaculation” is a Good Vibrations DVD that is hosted by Dr. Carol Queen who is a sexologist who has a lot of experience with the female g-spot. The movie runs about an hour and fourty minutes with five different sex scenes. The video includes a lot of toys and a variety of scene couples including homosexual, solo, and heterosexual couplings.
The video basically focuses around Carol Queen who is interviewing for a radio show with Michelle Meow. That’s the educational portion of the movie. Carol Queen is really interesting to listen to, and she uses her hands to explain points without seeming like she’s too scripted or too memorized. She seems to know what she wants to say, but it wasn’t too practiced beforehand which makes her seem candid and fun to listen to. This is a very good thing as it keeps her very fun to listen to. Imagine sitting with Carol Queen over coffee, and you ask a candid question. She knows the answer, but she explains with her hands and has a nice, conversational tone. It is sincerely interesting to listen to, and it’s one of the better instructional portions that I’ve heard on a DVD.
Dr. Carol Queen answers quite a few questions about the g-spot during the radio show. She talks about sexologists, what and where the g-spot is and if it exists, what are the difference in types of orgasms, what types of toys are best for g-spot stimulation, what female ejaculation is and if it’s pee, how the PC muscles with orgasms, how to hit the g-spot with the penis, when you should tell someone that you ejaculate, how many women ejaculate, and how to include safer sex with female ejaculate.
The video goes back and forth between Carol Queen’s radio show and her answers to the different porn scenes. This is definitely a bit of a jarring approach, though, as it’s odd to go from sex scenes to education. If you’re purely using this movie for pornographic material, you might want to select scenes from the scene selection instead of watching it start-to-finish to avoid the non-arousing educational parts. At the same time, there’s really no way to only watch Carol Queen’s radio show without the sex either.
The first scene is between Syd Blakovich and Sophia St. James. The two engage in heavy petting before Syd Blakovich uses a Pure Wand while Sophia continues to kiss and pet. There is some pretty frantic Pure Wand use, and it ends with Syd Blakovich ejaculating on Sophia St Jame’s chest.
The second scene is between Mirabelle Hayes and Maxwell Silver. Maxwell wears purple undies which is just adorable. The scene starts off with some sexy foreplay and fingering before Mirabelle uses a Hitachi on Mirabelle’s vagina. Maxwell brings Mirabelle to orgasm by a vibrating hand and other toys, and the two of them engage in some great communication about Mirabelle’s orgasm as well. This ends with a female ejaculation with Mirabelle.
The third scene is a solo scene with Jiz Lee. This one amused me because Jiz Lee just has a giant nightstand of toys next to the bed. The bedsheets in this one crackle familiarly like a Liberator Throe, so I think there may have been a Liberator throe under the sheets. Jiz Lee uses a lot of toys (most at the same time) including a Pure Wand. The scene ends with an intense orgasm.
The fourth scene includes Dylan Ryan and Mickey Mod. It’s a bit of a roleplay as Dylan pretends to be a worker coming home from work to surprise Mickey with a request to have sex. There’s lots of foreplay in this one with the focus on Dylan. A Hitachi is used as well as a bit of rough sex, and the two of them have intercourse as well which is something that isn’t seen in the rest of the scenes. Jiz Lee actually ejaculates from the intercourse as well as from using the Hitachi which is just awesome! This is the longest scene out of the movie.
The fifth scene is between Gloria and Altair Shadow. The two engage in some kissing and foreplay before Gloria fingers Altair with some sexy black gloves. This couple is much less active about it which is a good thing as this is how I could see myself enjoying g-spot stimulation. Altair then joins with a Hitachi until Altair reaches orgasm.
In what is an odd angle to take, most of the pornographic scenes are actually shot with the vagina (and what’s been done to the vagina) as the central focus of the shot. Sometimes you can see the faces and such as the non-focus of the action, but the focus is definitely on the vagina as well as toys and fingers while playing with the vagina. This gives you a good idea on techniques, and the way some of these people play is definitely intense! I love how the porn scenes feature lots of toys, and it’s obvious that the actors/actresses are enjoying themselves and are having genuine orgasms.
The extras of the DVD are few, but they’re helpful. There’s a powerpoint about female ejaculation as well as the anatomy behind it. While Dr. Carol Queen keeps spirituality out of her DVD, this powerpoint does refer to female ejaculation as a sacred thing to partake in which was an odd thing compared to the DVD itself. I can’t say that the powerpoint was the most interesting and fun thing to listen to, but it was informational. There’s a short video about “G-Spot Hunting with Carol Queen” which talks about the myths and challenges behind the g-spot. This extra is very, very informative, and it gives a lot more in-depth information and anatomy information with diagrams that Carol Queen couldn’t use during a radio show. There are also cast interviews and an extra with Dylan and Mickey.
Overall, I like Gush, and listening to Carol Queen definitely is interesting. I wouldn’t say that it’s advanced g-spot video or really shows the exacts, but it definitely gives the basics to g-spot orgasms, shows genuine female ejaculations, AND shows how different people achieve g-spot orgasms. The extras are neat, and the porn itself is definitely pretty hot, and it’s obvious that the actors and actresses are enjoying themselves. However, don’t expect this to be the end-all, be-all way to learn about the g-spot and female ejaculation, but it IS definitely a worthwhile watch on your journey to g-spot knowledge. Thanks to Good Vibrations for providing this movie for my Gush: The Official Guide to the G-Spot review. They also have a great g-spot education page to check out more information about the g-spot.
