The Grace vibrator from MODE-Design is a silicone vibrator that is rechargeable. Water-resistant and featuring four different vibration speeds, this vibrator features both gyration and vibrations. Made of 100% medical grade silicone and including a travel lock system with an eight inch length, this silicone vibrator is also about an inch in diameter.
The packaging for the Grace is pretty nice. It comes in a cardboard box that includes a clear window on the front of the packaging. Through the window, you can easily see the vibrator sitting inside. The packaging talks about the various features of the vibrator, and it looks very sleek. Inside, the vibrator rests in a plastic tray. Underneath the tray, you’ll find a storage bag for the vibrator along with the USB cable that charges this sex toy. The storage bag is made of a see-through, cotton-like material that will protect the vibrator from picking up hair or lint.
The design of the Grace sex toy is pretty simplistic. The base of the toy is made from plastic while all of the insertable portion is made from silicone. The silicone is pretty soft, and there are no visible seams on the shaft of the vibrator. The head of the vibrator has a slightly-pronounced design to it, and it has a finger-like bump on the tip that could make for g-spot stimulation if you have a shallow g-spot. Along the shaft of the vibrator, there are multiple ridges. These ridges aren’t the most intense ridges I’ve ever seen on a sex toy, but they can be easily felt while thrusting with the vibrator. With those in mind, you should make sure that you’re very turned on or have some sort of lubricant to make everything go smoothly and pleasurably.
As previously mentioned, this vibrator is rechargeable. It charges via a charging port at the base of the vibrator. It’s a unique type of charging port, and it will not share chargers with any other sex toy chargers you may have. This vibrator ONLY comes with a USB charger, so it must be charged via USB. If you have an adapter, you may be able to plug this into the wall outlet to charge. When charging, the vibrator has a backlit red light that shows up, and the red light disappears after the vibrator is fully charged.
The Grace vibrator is unique in the fact that it vibrates AND features rotation. Many people love the rotating aspect of rabbit vibrators, so to see it in a non-dual-stimulation sex toy is very unique. Both of these features are individually controlled via the buttons on the shaft, so you can have it vibrating while NOT gyrating, gyrating while NOT vibrating, or doing both at the same time. There’s a dedicated on/off button to make things easier, and there’s two other buttons. One button controls the vibration level while the other button controls the gyration level. The button system is extremely simple to use.
When it comes to the vibrations, they are more on the moderate side. They are very surface-type vibrations, and they aren’t too deep or rumbly. They are pretty focused in the tip of the vibrator, but judging against other toys, I’d call it a lower-end-of-moderate intensity; it isn’t not too strong. On the levels 1-3, the vibrations are relatively quiet and can’t be heard outside a closed door when inserted. However, the level 4 intensity vibration starts to produce a very loud buzzing sound that isn’t found in the other levels. This intensity can be heard outside a thin door, so keep this in mind if you plan on using the highest level.
When it comes to the gyrations, they’re okay. Something to keep in mind with the gyrations is that they aren’t a huge gyration. They are much more subtle and go in much smaller circles than some of the other gyrating rabbit vibrators out there. The four different settings allow you to adjust how fast the gyrations are – not how largely they gyrate. The inner portion of the Grace vibrator, though, isn’t made from beads, and the gyrations do a pretty good job of staying gyrating even if you’re clenching around the toy. Again, the gyrations aren’t huge circles, though.
I like the Grace vibrating sex toy. I like that it can gyrate and vibrate at the same time. However, the gyrations are a lot smaller circles than I’d like, and depending on the day, I can barely feel them. The vibrations are pretty pleasurable, and they are strong enough for internal use, but they wouldn’t be enough for clitoral use if you planned on using this sex toy flexibly. The texture on the vibrator does add a bit for thrusting’s sake, but at the same time, the gyrations and amounts of large thrusting don’t mix too well. It just is difficult to keep the gyrations in the right place while enjoying the texture while thrusting.
If you want to clean this black sex toy, you do have to be slightly careful. After all, it’s only water-resistant and not waterproof. However, it’s simple to clean. You just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it. For storage, the silicone really doesn’t pick up much hair or lint, but it certainly doesn’t hurt if you make sure to store it away from those things. As this is made from silicone, make sure to only use water-based lubricant on it.
Overall, the Grace sex toy is an okay sex toy. The gyrations and vibrations could be stronger and more intense, but the toy itself works very well. It’s simple to operate, has a pleasurable texture, and is rechargeable to save on batteries. If you’re going to enjoy the subtler vibrations and small-area gyrations, though, the Grace could be perfect for you. Thanks to MODE-Design for providing this black vibrator for my Grace vibrator review. If you’re a retailer or distributor, MODE Design is looking for you to carry their products as well!
