The Gold G-Spot Shaft is a glass sex toy made by Phallix. It’s a dildo, so it doesn’t vibrate or anything like that. The glass dildo is, indeed, about seven inches long, but it’s closer to an inch and a half in diameter than the inch and a fourth. It has a very large curve that makes it g-spot friendly, and the base is completely flat and allows the toy to stand up as well as be anal and vaginal-use friendly.
The packaging for the Phallix glass sex toy does leave something to be desired. Like other luxury glass sex toys, this one comes in a plastic plastic bubble-like package. The top portion has a little Phallix booklet that shows some of their other glass while the bottom portion has this dildo as well as the storage bag sitting in it. For the price, the packaging leaves me a bit wanting. However, you don’t really need to keep the packaging, and I trashed my packaging shortly after taking out the dildos (and doing the video review).
The packaging also includes a little pouch to store the dildo. This pouch is different than other Phallix dildo pouches I’ve received as its a little, soft velvet, double-lined pouch. It’s more soft and padded than the other bags I’ve received from Phallix, but it’s still not too padded.
The neat thing about this dildo is that it’s completely smooth. Don’t let the pictures fool you; this dildo has absolutely no texture. It looks like it might from the pictures, but in fact, all of this design is actually *inside* of the dildo, and the surface of this Phallix sex toy is completely smooth. There’s a slight bulge at the head of the dildo where the head becomes slightly more pronounced, but I still wouldn’t consider that any type of texture. The entire dildo is completely smooth which makes it extremely easy to insert.
So how does it look? Beautiful! I suppose that’s not really a very good descriptor, so let me explain more. The dildo has a lot of stuff going on inside that makes it look gorgeous. Looking at my pictures or the video will help, but it’s actually pretty amazing how much detail they managed to put into this dildo. When you look at it, you understand why the price is set as its set; this had to have taken a lot of time. There are gold swirls throughout all of the inside of the dildo, and they’re all different colors of gold. It’s all reflective and looks almost like a pearl-like color as well. The base is free of any design, and the design fills up more space around the head of the dildo. The patterns of gold swirl around in beautiful ways, and there are dots of a lighter, gold-ish color too, so really, there’s a lot of beautiful patterns going on with this, and it’s just amazing to see.
This glass sex toy is easy to hold onto. The glass base that makes it anal-safe also makes a great handle-hold. Since glass can get slick, it’s really important that a glass dildo includes some sort of way to grab onto it during use. This base makes a great handle to keep your hand from slipping off of the dildo while you’re using it. Along with that, it works as a working base, so the dildo will stand upright on its own without any problems. I always think about purchasing a glass display case for some of my gorgeous dildos, so this is a good thing for me. This dildo would definitely be in that case if I bought the glass case to store it in.
The g-spot curve works surprisingly well. Depending on where your g-spot is really located, it works better on some women than others, but for me, it did hit my g-spot. It wasn’t amazingly targeted g-spot pleasure, but for something to hit my g-spot is still an accomplishment. The top of the head of the dildo does hit my g-spot, but it’s not the tip of the dildo that does. This gives a large, broad area to rub against the g-spot, and since this dildo is completely rigid, you can get a lot of g-spot pressure by using this dildo. Depending on your preferences, this dildo might be best for thrusting, or it can also be used to rock against while it’s inserted. If you have a partner use it, have them be careful as the glass is very rigid and unforgiving, and it could be painful if they hit the wrong spot with the glass.
Glass has interesting properties. For one, glass can easily be cleaned. For another, since this toy is completely smooth, this glass sex toy is actually amazingly easy to insert. You just use a slight bit of lubricant to coat the toy, and then it slides in with absolutely no issue at all. This is a property of glass that makes it really friendly to those who have lubrication issues as glass won’t soak up any of the lubrication of your body because of the hard material. Along with that, this dildo also can work for temperature play. I’m a bit careful about my dildo in water (as it gets slick and I’m afraid I’ll drop it), but you can place this Phallix sex toy in warm or cool water, and the dildo itself will pick up the temperature of the water. This makes it a good choice if you want temperature play of any sort.
To clean this dildo, you just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap. It easily will wash off any ickies. For sterilization for multiple partners, use bleach on the dildo. Glass is compatible with any type of lubricant. For storage, you can store it it the pouch that comes with the dildo, but if you really want to take care of the dildo, I highly recommend purchasing a more padded storage pouch for it to keep it very safe.
I like the Gold G-Spot Shaft dildo. It’s expensive, yes, but when you receive it, you’ll notice all of the work and everything that went into this dildo; it’s obvious why it costs more than other, plain glass sex toys. It’s a gorgeous, quality dildo, and consider this sex toy an investment as it’s going to be with you for a lifetime of pleasure. The dildo is beautiful, is practical, and just very pleasurable. I definitely recommend this dildo if you want a beautiful, g-spot glass dildo.
