UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2021: This dildo is no longer in production. This review remains for those who have interested in this information. While you’re here, why don’t you check out my BDSM advice, femdom advice, BDSM scene outlines, and sex toy advice?

The Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot Dildo is a light-weight and acrylic g-spot dildo sold by Good Vibrations. The dildo has two separate ends for two different g-spot sensations, and the extreme u-shaped curve works better for trickier g-spots. This sex toy has a diameter of slightly over an inch on each end, and it is about nine inches long if you don’t include the curvature of the toy.

The packaging is a plain white and pink box that says “Hits the Spot” on the packaging. The toy comes in some wrap on the inside, and it is easy to remove from the packaging. The backside of the box describes the features of the toy, and each side discusses the features of the toy.

The Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot dildo is unique from most g-spot toys for a couple reasons. For one, it’s made from acrylic. Most g-spot toys are usually another material, and it’s rare to find toys made from acyrlic. Acrylic is a really interesting material because it’s completely smooth and drag-less like stainless steel or glass, but it also doesn’t have the weight that stainless steel or glass would have. It also always stays at room temperature, so it’s never cool to the touch. The slick drag-less material of the Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot Dildo means that it is very, very easy to insert, and if you are lubricated enough, you probably will not need any external lubrication either. If you do need any, it will only be a small amount because of the material and how slick it is.

For another, the Galaxy G Acrylic G-Spot dildo was made as a double-ended dildo. This means that you can use either end of the toy. One end includes a round, ball-like end that can be used for a more filling sensation while the other end includes a round-arrow-like end that could be used for more pinpoint-type of stimulation. The arrow-like end has a slightly smaller diameter than the round, ball-end.

Out of the two sides, I prefer the rounded, ball-like side over the other side. The other, arrow-like end feels a bit too pointy for me, and it feels more awkward than anything else. For the ball-like side, though, the feeling is a nice, full feeling that can hit the g-spot without feeling like it’s being pointy or poking too intensely in one area. The diameter of the ball is about an inch, so it’s a relatively large ball. There are some similarly-designed g-spot “ball” ends that are thicker (Doc Johnsons Reflections, Njoy Pure Wand), but this one is one of the smaller ball-shaped ends. Again, though, with a little bit of external lubrication, this toy slips right in with no problem, and you can easily navigate it to your g-spot.

There are a couple downsides to this toy. For one, there is a visible and feel-able seam that runs along the toy. I noticed them during use, but it wasn’t enough to be painful or annoying. If you are sensitive to seams, though, this may bother you, so you may want to consider sanding down the seams or keeping this in mind before you purchase. The seams are much more noticable on the pointy, arrow-shaped end, and they are much more discreet and out-of-the-way on the bulb-shaped end.

For another, the extra bulbs in the middle of the toy’s shaft are a bit odd. The bulb and the arrow-like tip on each of the ends makes perfect sense and feels pleasurable, but the bulbs towards the middle of the shaft feel a bit more awkward during insertion and play. They feel a bit like “What is that supposed to be stimulating?”. On the brigher side, though, the bulbs do allow you to get an easier grip on the toy and help you to guide the toy – even when it’s lubricated – but if you tend to like deeper thrusting and insertion, the two center bulbs in the shaft may bother you.

On the plus-side, though, the design of the g-spot dildo works fantastically for my g-spot – which is saying something as most usually don’t work for me. The extreme curve seems to be very effective if you have a deeper g-spot or have issues with other g-spot toys not hitting your g-spot. The acrylic of the g-spot wand can get a bit slippery, but if you grasp onto the uninserted end, you can get some good leverage for some good thrusting. For stubborn g-spots, this Galaxy G Acrylic g-spot dildo does a good job.

Cleaning this g-spot dildo is very simple as it is very slick and waterproof. It can be cleaned with warm water and antibacterial soap, and it is compatible with all types of lubricant. As it is acrylic, keep it away from anything that will scratch the surface, but aside from that, it is very easy to take care of and doesn’t require any special attention. If you want to easily clean it, this g-spot sex toy will easily slide into a condom for easy clean-up afterwards.

Overall, if you have a stubborn g-spot and want a body-safe g-spot toy that provides firm and rigid pressure and pleasure to your g-spot, the Galaxy G Acrylic g-spot dildo does a good job of it. It, however, may not be a good choice if you are sensitive to seams or sensitive to a bulb texture on the shaft of your dildo.
