The packaging for this Fox Tail Butt Plug isn’t too comprehensive – but it gets the product safely to you. The outer box has a rope cord that will allow this packaging to hang up in store displays. Inside the box, you’ll find the plug – and tail – in a plastic, resealable bag. The plug itself is again wrapped in plastic wrap once you open the plastic bag. The packaging isn’t particularly informative, but it will make sure you get your plug safely. It really isn’t a good way to store the tail long-term, however, as it’s pretty easy to crush a cardboard box.
The plug itself is a decent quality. It’s not made of super, high-quality materials, but it definitely works just fine as a plug. It has a slightly tapered design that makes it easier to insert – even for people who are still somewhat new to anal play. The size is slender enough as well. While most people with anal experience are going to find it a bit small, people without much anal experience are going to find this a decent size. The small, tapered tip allows beginners to start off easily and move towards more width as they become more comfortable. At the widest point, it’s still slightly smaller in width than an average human penis, but it’s getting close.
The plug does have some flexibility to it, but it’s not a lot. However, the slight flexibility makes it a bit more comfortable during insertion. It feels quite soft, and I’d say that this is probably one of the highest-quality plug furs that I’ve felt before at this price. It’s even about as soft as some of my faux fur scarves.
With the design of the tail, this plug wasn’t really designed to be worn underneath clothing. The tail isn’t detachable, so if you tried to wear it under clothing, you’d have (literally) a giant, poofy tail hiding under your clothes. This tail was really designed for at-home wear or wear at kink events. It’s designed for places where you can wear the tail with a bare ass. Once the plug is in the butt, though, it definitely looks like a little tail. You can’t see the plug between the cheeks, so all you can see is the tail hanging off the body. It really looks like a realistic human-like tail.
The plug design could have used a bit more extreme size difference between the plug itself and the retention area. The plug does have a bit of a habit of trying to slide out. We haven’t had the entire plug push out all of the way yet, but it occasionally feels like it needs a bit of a push to help it stay in – until it occasionally starts to slide out again. As long as you aren’t doing a ton of moving around and standing up, it seems to have a longer “stay in” timespan.
Cleaning this plug isn’t difficult, but it does require a little bit of caution. While the tail should be cleaned as well, you don’t want to clean the tail with harsh chemicals or cleansers to damage the tail. You also want to make sure that you give the tail a thorough amount of time to fully dry out after use. Thorough cleaning will keep this plug safer to use. As the plug is made from TPR, it’s compatible with all types of lubricant. For storage, try not to store the tail crinkled up or squished. Laying it flat or just curling the plug and tail into a loose “ball” will be the best storage options.
Overall, the Fox Tail Butt Plug is a fantastic addition to your toybox if you’ve been wanting tail butt plugs without a really expensive pricetag.
