FiFi Rabbit Vibrator Review

FiFi Rabbit Vibrator
FiFi Rabbit Vibrator

The Fifi vibrator, a silicone rabbit vibrator made by Je Joue, is the only Je Joue rabbit toy available. About eight inches long with a diameter of about an inch at the thickest part of the shaft, this vibrator is rechargeable. Waterproof and including multiple speeds and patterns, the FiFi is available in three cute colors.

The packaging for the Fifi vibrator is pretty fancy. It comes in a black, firm cardboard box that has a plastic tray on the inside where the FiFi rests. There’s a side compartment where the charger and instruction manual is included. Along with that, there’s an outer cardboard shell that slides over this box that’s pink and also looks very cute for gift-giving. The packaging doesn’t come with a storage bag or anything, though, so if you want to keep the vibrator safe, you might want to keep the original packaging around.

The Fifi rabbit vibrator is pretty basically designed. The entire toy is made of silicone, so it’s body-safe. It has no ports into the inner body of the sex toy, so it is also waterproof. The silicone is not plushy at all – it’s more like the silicone is just a layer over a harder, inner, plastic body, so keep that in mind. That also makes the Fifi rabbit vibrator extremely rigid on the shaft with no give. The clitoral arm does have more flexibility to it, though, but not by much. They bend a bit, and they will bend if you apply a lot of pressure, but for the most part, they don’t bend easily, and you may hurt yourself long before the clitoral arms bend which leads for great clitoral pressure. The charging port and control buttons are right at the base of the sex toy, and the surface of this vibrator is completely smooth with absolutely no texture to it. Really, if you own the Mimi, it basically is like the Mimi with clitoral arms and a shaft, and if you own the Uma, it’s like the Uma but with clitoral arms. The design is relatively constant throughout the Je Joue line.

The Fifi vibrator is rechargeable. Like the other toys in the Je Joue line, the Fifi is completely waterproof, and it charges via the magnetic buttons at the base of the vibrator. The magnetic charger stays attached pretty nicely, and the red LED light will blink while it charging, and it lights up constant red when the toy is done charging. I’ve had no issues with the magnetic port letting go too easily, and it stays attached pretty well. It seems to come partially charged, but you should let it fully charge before using it. The Fifi vibrator takes 2 hours to do a full charge, and it’s supposed to last two hours on that charge.

The vibrations for the Je Joue Fifi are okay. I actually think I was expecting more power from the vibrations. Not compared to other vibrators, but compared to other vibrators in the Je Joue line. Their Uma and Mimi have had fantastic vibrations, but the Fifi feels not nearly as powerful. I don’t know if the vibrations are quite strong enough to go all the way through the shaft AND the clitoral arms without losing their strength.

Another view of the vibrator

The vibrations, both my partner and I agree, are about moderate. They’re on the stronger side of moderate, but still moderate. The vibrations in the shaft tend to feel more rumbly while the vibrations in the clitoral arms end up feeling more buzzy. Depending on how you like your vibrations, you may find that these are enough; they are stronger than what I’ve felt on other rabbit vibrators, but they certainly do not equal or come near to the strength I’m used to with Je Joue sex toys. Depending upon how you use it (I know some people who don’t insert rabbits and instead use the shafts clitorally), you may get more noise. The Fifi has a rattling sound when it doesn’t have firm pressure applied onto it (such like a vagina would), so keep that in mind. The vibrator itself can be heard in the same room, but probably not outside of the closed door. However, if it’s rattling, it may be able to be heard outside of a closed door.

I really like the silicone body of the Fifi vibrator. It’s very smooth and silky, so it actually does really glide against the skin. This type of silicone is easily one of my favorite types of silicone as it requires very little lubricant and still glides really nicely against the body. It’s easy to insert, and since the silicone isn’t plushy and is very rigid, it also holds it shape really well which is perfect for hitting certain spots. I’m definitely in love with the silicone of the Je Joue Fifi. For those who have used Je Joue toys before, the silicone is the same type of silicone that is used in the rest of their sex toys.

Personally, I’m in love with Fifi’s clitoral arms. That’s not to say that everyone will be though. The clitoral arms have very little give to them, and that makes them perfect for applying pressure which is exactly what I like. However, they really aren’t your typical light, flutter-y sensation like many rabbit vibrator clitoral arms provide. With that in mind, they might even be a bit TOO clampy for some people because of the lack of flexibility. Keep in mind that your anatomy may vary, but if you tend to like clitoral vibrations with more pressure, the Je Joue Fifi does provide it.

Sadly, like the rest of the recent Je Joue line, I have to be driven insane by the buttons on the Fifi. There’s three buttons: a plus, a minus, and a pattern button. This, in itself, isn’t bad. However, as the buttons also function as the magnetic charging dock, it seems like the buttons were made extremely difficult to press. Some people don’t report the same problem, but with my long nails, I can’t use the tip of my finger and have to use the flat of my finger, and it just makes it a pain. For instance, I just turned it on to double-check the problems I had during use, and it took me a full minute to get the darn thing turned off. I thought I was pressing the button, but I guess I wasn’t pressing it hard enough.

As this rabbit vibe is waterproof, you don’t have to be too careful about cleaning it. You do need to use warm water and antibacterial soap to clean it, though, and you could sterilize it if you’re extremely careful with a bleach solution. It’s compatible with water-based lubricants, and you can keep it in the original packaging if you’d like as it doesn’t come with a storage pouch or storage bag.

Overall, the Je Joue Fifi is an okay rabbit vibrator, but the buttons do drive me a bit insane, and I expected more power from a Je Joue toy. I liked the design itself, and the rabbit ear design actually worked well for me, but I just wanted a bit more power, and the buttons just didn’t work well for me. However, if you haven’t had any issues with previous Je Joue buttons and aren’t expecting that same level of power, you and the Je Joue Fifi rabbit vibrator could get along great.
