Female Ejaculation and the G-Spot Review

Cover of the book

If you’ve been following me on Twitter or talking to me on a regular basis, I’ve been on a campaign to attempt to learn more about my g-spot. I’ve had problems finding it with toys, and I have memories of it being stimulated when I was younger, so I know I have one. The problem seems to be finding it again after all of these years.

Female Ejaculation & The G-Spot, written by Deborah Sundahl with a tagline of “Not your mother’s orgasm book!”, is 217 pages long. Most of it is text, so expect it to be a longer read than other books. I’d say that, in total, it took me about four hours to read through the entire book. The front says you will discover the hidden sensation of the g-spot and you will find what muscles and positions aids in female ejaculation. The front cover is a deep pink and shows a female in some apparent pleasure – nothing explicit, but the cover does include “female ejaculation” all over it. The back is a mixture of yellow and pink and includes “for the deepest, wildest, wettest orgasms ever”. Needless to say, I didn’t think it was probably appropriate to take outside of the apartment. If you kept both of the covers down, some of the diagrams will still give away what you’re reading.

Now, before I review this, I suppose you should know what level I’m at when it comes to all of this. Like I said before, I’ve felt g-spot pleasure before, but it’s been quite a few years. Lately, I’ve been attempting (with toys and everything) to find that pleasure again. I have never ejaculated before, so this is my exploration into that. This makes me knowledgeable, but I haven’t actually done anything yet. So that’s where I’m coming from reading this book.

So how much does it help? Somewhat. I still haven’t been able to, but I do believe the tools I need are in this book – no doubt about that. It does encourage taking a long time to learn how to ejaculate, and I have to say that I was expecting something that would just let me know what I need to add to my current sessions to make it possible, but it’s possible that it does take a lot of working up to it. I suppose, in that instance, this isn’t exactly what I was expecting. However, the advice it gives does seem to helpful enough that it will have me ejaculating at some point if I don’t rush it.

The back cover

The book is split into three different sections for easy use. She encourages only using the sections that you feel you need, but I read through them all for you, my reader. :P The sections are “The Phenomenon of Female Ejaculation” (which describes the anatomy and the exploration process), “Techniques for a Feminine Fountain” (which is the techniques and helpful tips that will encourage ejaculation), and “Embracing the Feminine Spring” (which is full of tips about what could be mentally blocking you from experiencing female ejaculation and how to remove it.)

The first part starts off with a neat story about one of the author’s ejaculation workshops. We get a look into how she teaches it and how it works. From there, we learn what female ejaculate is actually composed of as well as the anatomy that goes into female ejaculation. We also learn about the importance of the muscles of the genital area when it comes to ejaculation. We also learn about the different types of orgasms that women regularly experience including clitoral, uterine, or g-spot. From there, Sundahl goes on to talk about what research she’s done into the history of female ejaculation and how ancient cultures viewed it.

The second part will be teaching us about different ways we can teach ourselves to experience female ejaculation. She recommends starting with experiencing ejaculation without orgasm, then with orgasm, then with your partner. Each chapter will include hints and tips as well as step-by-step instructions for experiencing female ejaculation. It has some troubleshooting tips too in case you find that you are having problems experiencing ejaculation. This chapter also includes tips on different types of sex positions that will stimulate the g-spot during intercourse and other ways that your partner can help you experience female ejaculation. It also dispels some of the myths about how all males dislike ejaculation, and there’s lots of first-hand experience about people’s opinions on it.

An example of the inside pages

The third section includes information about why you may have difficulties ejaculating. She includes reasons like you’ve experienced sexual trauma or a past partner has disliked it. She talks about the importance of a g-spot massage including her experience going to a g-spot healer. She then goes into how female ejaculation can make a couple feel more spiritually connected and talks a bit about Tantric sex as well.

Something that’s nice about the book is its inclusion of all sorts of personal experience. Each chapter will be including the author’s personal experience or personal experience of some people she’s worked within the past. We get first-hand looks at how the people looked at female ejaculation and what their experience was. It helps keep the flow of the book a little more smooth.

The writing of the book isn’t bad either. It’s not the most exciting thing on the planet to read, but it does keep my interest when I’m reading it. It isn’t something I have a problem putting down, but it is something that I don’t mind reading. The author includes enough personal experience to make the book an interesting read. She does, however, focus a lot on the spiritual aspect of female ejaculation which is something I don’t believe in too much.

It splits pretty evenly between talking about the g-spot and about female ejaculation. It mostly talks about using your g-spot as the gateway to experiencing female ejaculation. It doesn’t talk much about the g-spot in and of itself. It does provide tips and hints to finding your g-spot as well as how to stimulate it.

Overall, it’s a good book that includes a lot of different tips and techniques about reaching female ejaculation as well as receiving pleasure from your g-spot. If you have problems locating or stimulating your g-spot, this book will help. However, if you already find your g-spot and already can ejaculate, I’d say you wouldn’t learn much from this book except how to perfect your technique or the history and “why” behind it all. Overall, a good purchase for any vagina-owner looking to expand their knowledge about this intimate part of herself.
